Wowwww haha you couldn’t write it. I find steak and wine are my friends when I feel sorry for myself. Have you tested today? So many people say they fall pregnant just before IVF is due to start. It’s crazy! I’m so sorry, I know how heartbreaking it is every month but AF isn’t here yet!

oh lord I feel so sick, keep feeling massively tired around 3pm like I could fall asleep stood up and my nipples have shooty pain. That’s about it! Strong though. It’s weird I don’t remember symptoms as strong as this with my last four pregnancies. I may have with Emmie my little girl but that was almost four years ago so hard to remember and I don’t think I was paying as close attention then.

Still no AF here (day 32). Planning on testing tomorrow if AF hasn't arrived. If it is negative after that, I'll wait five days and test again; if it is STILL negative and no AF, I'll call my doctor, since at that point I'd be late even by the furthest end of my cycle (36 days right when coming off BC, then 33 days, then 30, then 29, then...waiting).

In any case, at this point it is clear testing last Thursday would have been too early to get a reliable result on this particular test.

Littleperson: I just had a friend get her BFP first cycle of IVF at age 39, after ttc naturally with no luck for four years! I really hope you don't have to go that route, but there are lots of IVF stories with happy endings too!

Sorry you’re still in limbo with your cycle! I hope you get a bfp but if you don’t I hope af arrives for you to stop the wondering what’s going on!

my friend had two failed ivfs on nhs then a successful one privately! There’s no way we could afford to go private! Here’s hoping something happens for us! feel so sorry for my OH he just really wants this now! Typical it took him five years to be ready and now it’s been a year and a half of trying and still no baby! Xxs

owwww okay well I’m still keeping everything crossed.

yesss, I have one at 7+3 on 14th January. I think if all is well it will be every two weeks after that until 12 weeks then I think I get handed over to NHS standard process. Xxx

If by some chance AF hasn't made her appearance in five days, I'll test again and then get in touch with my doctor to make sure nothing is wrong, assuming it stays negative.

I think you’re doctor will fib you off and say every woman has off cycles because even the professional at the assisted conception unit told me that when I told her about home of my cycles being as long as 39 days! They like to tell you to stop stressing too.... impossible! That’s the most useless bit of advice anyone can give a trying woman!!!

AF finally came for me today on CD 38. I was pretty relieved, frankly, as by the time I tested negative on day 33, there was little realistic chance that I was pregnant.

Given the general weirdness of this cycle (especially the heavy CM from a few dpo on), I wonder if I had a chemical, as I didn't test for the first time until around 12 dpo, and I know a lot of women get faint lines at 7-10 dpo and then see them disappear on subsequent tests.

Or maybe my body was just playing tricks on me. In any case, onward to January! A happy new year to you all.

Littleperson, I'm still pulling for you this cycle, but hope you get clarity soon in one way or another.

Been staring at my most recent test for the last 20 minutes trying to make a line appear lol. No AF and still bfn. Starting to wonder if i ovulated when i thought i did, or at all for that matter. If i did ovulate when i thought i did AF should have arrived yesterday at the latest. But who knows! I’m not of CD day 38. Last month was a 34 day cycle, but October was 40 days.

I have got sore boobs going on which is usually a sign that my period is round the corner but ive had that for a couple of days and still nothing!

Ready to move on to my next cycle now.as soon as AF arrives ive to phone assisted conception to try to get my dye X-ray done as they couldn’t fit me in last time. I’m so ready to have that done as I’m hoping it will spur things along as i read that 25% of woman fall pregnant naturally within 3 months of having it done.

Hi I’m new! December was our second attempt at this whole baby making business. Workin on our first. We’re fairly confident this last month ended in a chemical. I had a routine check up on Wednesday with my pcp. But I was almost (basically due) for AF. I took a test and it was faintly positive. They took one at the office and it too, was slightly positive. Then the blood HCG was a whopping 6.6. Santa brought my period a couple days later. Kind of a bummer. My biggest concern is the spotting I get mid luteal phase. Every month. Like clockwork. My OB does not seem concerned about it and we’re trying to schedule an SIS to check for polyps but she’s so busy and trying to schedule with in the first 10 days of my cycle is a nightmare. I kind of have this feeling it’s not polyps (low progesterone is my hunch). But I think anxiety about all of this is NOT helping. Granted, it’s only month 2 but the 2 week wait is brutal. My therapist is probably super sick of me talking about it so I needed a different outlet. Also, a bit of a compulsive tester but I’m going to have to chill out this next month or we’re going to go broke! Lol

Assisted conception unit it what the unit at my local hospital is called! It’s just basically the fertility specialists! It’s who will eventually carry out ivf xxx

I’m sorry about this round!! I’m testing on January 1st (15 dpo) to hopefully bring luck for a new year and a New Baby!! I will join you in January 2021 when it’s up! New Year can’t come soon enough
