How is everyone feeling today?

Another random questions as being my first time I don’t have a clue when will I need maternity clothes? Did you guys use them or just buy bigger I find it hard To find them as already in plus size clothing (16-18) and not many places seem to offer a nice range.

Sorry to thread hop but I’ve been looking into this as my trousers are really getting a squeeze to do up! I’m only eleven weeks! Next make some nice things so I’m considering getting some jeans from them and maybe some summer skirts and dresses. The thing I’m finding most difficult is the changing seasons. Leggings are so comfortable right now and I want to buy more but it’s only going to get warmer as the month goes on so I’ll probably be too hot in them. Dilemma!

Hey Girls, a bit of TMI post hope thats okay?

I started spotting last night, only when I wipe, it was light pink but it really freaked me out. I'm not in any pain so trying to be positive, I've rung 111 they have said get referred by midwife / GP for a scan @ epu. Its on and off today, gone a bit darker... So fingers crossed

I had light pink spotting last sunday and brown blood Monday but had a scan all was good nothing wrong. I know I easier said than done but try not to worry too much could be implantation from bubba.
can you go for a scan over the weekend?xx

No our epu isnt open over the weekend, so will hopefully get one this week. Obviously Google is the worse thing to look at right now so trying to avoid it! My booking in appt is this Friday too.

yeah dont look at google makes you panic more I did that and it was nothing hopefully theyll get you in for a scan I rang mon after the spotting the sun and sent me for a scan straight away xx

I read in a book that spotting happens to 25% of women in health pregnancies, but you’re doing all the right things, like others said, try not to worry

ordered a pizza I swear this baby only wants junk food..

I also still dont believe I'm actually pregnant. found out today ohs best mates wedding has been rearranged to 28th november!was meant to be doing bride and bridesmaids make up but theres no way I can hack 3 peoples makeup at 1/1.5 hours each person I'd be dead esp if I end up with a decent bump I'd be bout ready to pop the baby out lol xx

I’ve ordered chocolate fudge cake with custard, chocolate and caramel cheesecake and cookie dough haha so naughty! I can’t believe how much food I want to put away, still not feeling nauseous yet, thank god.

I don’t believe I’m pregnant either. The lack of sick is concerning me ha! I’ve just had a sharp pain in my side and I just worry :/ hope it’s nothing

I had a chinese for tea tonight.
Pathetically I couldn't even finish half of it so that's lunch for tomorrow and maybe tea too haha.

Spotting can be normal I've had bleeding in both previous pregnancies but always best to get checked over if u can.

I dont feel pregnant apart from the sheer bloating and loss of appetite today lol.


I live in leggings and make my own clothes so wont need maternity stuff

Hi glad you lot are eating I still feel a bit yuck! But am eating small amounts

My tummy cramps are awful today which makes me worry slightly but trying to stay calm.

I didn’t know that bleeding was so common but I guess any bleeding should be checked.

I have looked at clothes today looks like Dorothy Perkins do a nice range and have sale on and also h n m seem to have some nice bits too however I’m going to try not to buy until I actually sort out what I have! Hope everyone is well! I guess most people are now in there 7th week or nearly exciting

I feel like crap still ha! yay mind I'm glad I have this feeling because all my previous losses I had nothing like these symptoms.

@Exoh123 I hope all goes well for you I thought I would be lucky and have no symptoms as I know my mum and sisters didn’t really however I’m sick again today feeling ruff but i know it will be worth it!

Im currently laying in bed with a cold flannel on my forehead feeling sorry for my self lol!!

Thanks lovelies you've been great. Spotting eased off yesterday but back again today and feels like a full on period. So as pain and bleeding has increased I've gone to a&e. I'm obviously super anxious, but also pragmatic. I'm hoping on all Hope's that it could be a positive result. But the not knowing is also painful... xx

exoh, with my sickness in previous pregnancies the feeing of wanting to be sick doesn’t go away once sick, it thoroughly sucks.

I really don’t feel pregnant today, told hubby I don't believe it and took a test, very strong positive ha! I’m enjoying it whilst it lasts x

Honestly ladies, you are a life saver, its been great having people to talk to, in the same boat. (well not this one) but you know what I mean. I have just got back from A&E all the tests done including an internal examination.... she said cervix looked good and importantly was closed, so baby safe inside - no idea what is causing the bleeding and cramps, but she wasn't overly worried / concerned about it, told me to keep monitoring levels, and they will give me a call on Tue, with test results... keeping all my fingers and toes crossed xx

I’m glad they’re not concerned but did they not give you a scan?

No she advised the scan to follow the bloods/test results. I would have prefered to have one straightway, but without the other information they cannot give a conclusive diagnosis.
