But the only thing is the first time you use it does it always show a blank circle? Or because I've used the holder before does it have a memory? Arghhh confusing xx

That's not my understanding but I might be wrong. I think from what the CB woman said, it's just the very first time you use the holder. It should then store your information as a comparison for when you test again. My OH said it might have been the wrong thing using the second holder for the first time around ov as the device will register high hormone levels as being the baseline readings, which might skew future testing. All v confusing.. I think I'm going to stick with the first holder now I know it wasn't faulty.

I'm wondering now if I ov'd a day earlier than I thought. I am completely obsessed today and over-analysing/goggling to the nth degree Do you girls ovulate the day any pains go or the day before? And same with fertile cm...ov the last day you have this or the day after? I wish I could switch off from all this obsessing

I have never understood ovulation! I have ewcm today for first time in a few months. Ha. And fizzy, sugar puff wee!

Well I've got 4 holders! And they are all in the same box so I've no idea which one I used last
Well I've done another Opk tonight and I think it's a bit darker but not positive
So hopefully will be positive tomorrow xxx

Well Ive had a Negative OPK this morning and just now! so perhaps I've missed my surge?
We DTD this morning so if we DTD tomorrow night and then every other day until then I think I'll of covered OV...hopefully

Well I normally use them twice a day but today I've already poas 3 times! Still negative. ..the thing is they weren't positive last night but darker than they had been, I will test again later!!
How many dpo are you today millielaura? Xxx

Well I'm unsure... I had loadss of ewcm cd8 and pos opk and ov pains. Then on cd13 the other day I had bruised type feeling in ovary, a little ewcm and another pos opk. So i have no idea whether I did ov early or not lol im either 2dpo or 7dpo lol! Xxx

Gosh, it's all go on the ovulation front! Emma - it does sound like you perhaps had a short surge. Is that the opposite to how you normally are (I know you had a v long surge last month)? Is that a good thing - just wondering if that's the result of any of the supplements you're taking, or have you had this before? Either way, you should be fine if you DTD this morning, with sperm either there ready or meeting the egg just after it had been released. is it possible you might get a positive when you test tomorrow or unlikely? What CD are you on?

Millielaura - I've read about double ovulation, so perhaps that's what you've had? Jeez, nothing is straightforward in the ttc world!

Thanks for the info on ewcm/ov pains related to ovulation. My acupuncturist is working on increasing the length of my luteal phase, so it would just be good for me to know precisely when I ov'd! I gave up temping the first part of my cycle, as it was getting obsessive, but now I wish I hadn't!

This 2ww is really dragging - I have no symptoms to speak of, so trying to think AF will be here next week (but I know I'll still be gutted when it arrives!)

Lovely to hear from you That must be soooo frustrating seeing the ewcm and not being to take advantage of it! Still, a short break for your colposcopy and you can then get back to it!

I think we've all ov'd now, except perhaps georgesmum. I'm a week into the 2ww and it's draaaaaging! Not hopeful, as no symptoms to report! So no doubt I'll be here keeping you company next month!

I tested yesterday and line was quite dark but not as dark as control line. Today pale line. No clue if that means I have ovulated or not. Either way we dtd yday and will do again tomorrow. Will keep testing til weekend just incase I haven't missed it. Been very aware of several ovulation signs so it may have been.

Had a pretty rubbish evening as I found my little white cat had been run over when I went out to the bin, my OH has just buried her
So we are really upset

I've had negative Opks all day, and no Ov pains, so I'm guessing I haven't Ovulated yet, did a CB digi earlier and got a blank face but I'm sure that's normsal for the first time testing with a holder that hasn't been used for a while

I don't think we'll be DTD tonight as we both a bit shaken about our poor little Cat xxx

Oh no Emma, I'm so sorry. I love animals and have a cat (the other one died last year), so can imagine how you must be feeling. We had a couple of family cats that got run over and it was devastating. Sending you a big hug xxx
