My little cat was called Belle and she was 8 years old and she was a lovely little thing, we've got (had) 2 cats and we got Belle a few months after we lost our other cat Star she also got run over so my remaining cat has has 2 sisters who have been run over ...she is called Twinkle and I've given her lots of cuddles xxx

That's so true Sam I swore swore after my hamsters died I couldn't get another pet... I've now got another hamster, a rabbit and two kittens. I'm already thinking whyyy did I get the kittens as I care toooo much about them now xxc

Morning girls,
Well im CD 15 today and sure I'm ovulating or close to as my cervix is high and my boobs feel a bit sore this morning, got more CM than normal
We didn't DTD last night as we were both upset about the cat,
it's hit my OH really badly as he had to pick her up and Bury her

So if we DTD yesterday morning and try to DTD tonight do u think we'll be in with a chance?

Just been to visit my grandma in the hospital and she said to me "I have heard you are having a baby, what wonderful news" Felt like bursting in to tears! She is having memory problems and I felt so sad having to correct her.

my opk the other day was visible but not as dark as the control line except for a tiny strip along the edge which is the same as control line. Don't know how to interpret it.

Sorry to hear about your grandma georgesmum - sad when you see grandparents deteriorate like that and also not what you wanted to hear I'm sure.

I'm no opk expert and whilst I'd be inclined to think that could be positive if part of it was as dark as the control line, I suspect Emma or one of the others who uses them would say the whole line needs to be dark?

I got a free digi ovulation test in the post today from CB, as a thank you for doing their study. It's not the dual hormone one that I was sent to test, but just the one which picks up the LH surge. It's got 10 test sticks which is supposed to last 3 months..more like 1 I would have thought! Given I had what I think was a very short LH surge between tests this cycle, I think I'd have to test twice a day. Have any of you used this test? Did you primarily use FMU as per the dual ovulation test or in the afternoon/eve as with opks?

Emma - sounds like you're going to be covered with dtd tonight too, as your ov signs still sound to be strong.

Yay lovely line georgesmum :-D.. Angel6901 so sorry to hear about your cat babe hope your doing okay! Millielaura im not ttc this month as I had a smear test and it came back abnormal so have to have colposcopy on monday apparently not meant to have sex 7 days before.. And im in my fertile week.. Sam it is so fustrating seeing ewcm and cant dtd still got ewcm lol annoying! Fingers crossed you wont be here next month! Are you going to test early? X x x x x

That's a definite positive!
Get DTD tonight if you can, my OH is the same, I can't always guarantee we will DTD as if he's tired or feeling unwell there is no chance, even though I would DTD even if I had Flu if it was my Fertile days!

Well I've got a very negative today and I'm CD 16 do I'm guessing my almost positive last night was as good as I'll get, I have had some twinges today in my back and low down so I'm assuming I'm Ovulating,
Last month I had really bad OV pains but not this month unless I'm still gearing up!

Carys, such a shame your not TTC this month as you have ewcm! but its better that you have a break and give your cervix time to heal, then you will be ok for next cycle

Sam hope you don't need to use the CB digi next month! but nice of them to send you it, Ive only ever used the Dual hormone CB digi, if its similar to standard OPKs I would test in the afternoon, but I think the Dual hormone one says to test in the morning because its picking up the estrogen surge

Wow, those are some good lines there girls (how annoying that you can't take advantage of yours Carys!). I've got opk envy I reckon - I always got a nearly positive with those tests and found I was never sure on what the best time was to test (used to do around 3pm and 6pm). That's why the CB digi works better for me, with it being fmu.

Emma - sounds like you must have had a short surge this month? I'm sure you're covered though...hopefully your OH managed to dtd tonight!

Sorry for the tmi, but I've had such an itchy right nipple today. Awful sitting at work desperately wanting to scratch!! Do any of you ever have this? Mine tends to mainly be on the right side and if it wasn't for the fact I tend to get it from time to time, I'd be getting my hopes up thinking it's a pregnancy sign! The other one is now a bit itchy too...so annoying!

Carys - no early testing here! I had a crap time a couple of months ago when I hadn't realised I'd ov'd late, had every (phantom) symptom under the sun, was convinced I was pregnant and got loads of BFNs. Think it traumatised me so much that I've now promised myself I won't test until I'm late (earliest 17dpo, just in case it's a really long luteal phase!!). I would be unbelievably excited if I find myself in that situation!! Honestly girls, this is officially the longest 2ww ever - I'm only a week in!

Well OH was tired last night, so we didn't DTD. ..honestly I'm getting so fed up with him
Ive had very negative opks again so im counting from my almost positive on Monday so im sure I'm past Ovulation I could even be about 2/3 dpo

Did you manage to DTD last night Georgesmum?

But i feel we haven't really got much chance this month as we only DTD twice this week

georgesmum - I think you ov ?12-24 hrs (or is it 36?) after the last positive so that presumably is likely to be today. Most important the sperm is up there pre-ov but if you have the energy I'd dtd tonight! I remember you saying you'd be dtd every other day after ov - good luck! It's bloody tiring, isn't it!

Emma - it only takes the one, remember, so you're in with a good chance, particularly as if you're 2 or 3dpo, a bd last night wouldn't have done anything.

I'm pretty sure I'm out, so I'll be manning the ship next month!

Hi girls how are you all?
I think I'm 10dpo today. I've had some symptoms but probs nothing.. will explain.
So on weds I had a spot of brown cm in underwear and on tues and weds noticed my boobs had been sore
Weds night i wemt out for friends bday and unintentionally got absolutey hammered. A right state.. i was so embarassed! Was crying being sick the lot. so spent yesterday thinking great bet cm was ib and now ive stopped anything implanting by getting so stupidly drunk which i havent done in so long! Boobs werent sore anymore and was getting killer heartburn from hangover.
Then this afternoon ive been so tired (not sure if its dowm.to having blood test this morn) had a nap and now sore boobs are back. Heart burn hasnt gone away but probs just still lingering from hangoveryesterday. I dom't want to get hopeful though i know you can get drunk and still fall preg but I ws a state. I don't know what happened I dont usually drink all that much but I didnt go mad or amything like that just for some reason ended up so so drunk. Falling over and everything I'm so ashamed lol. Dont see how a bean would implant and doesnt alcohol thin blood so would have bad lining? So feel a bit mopey about that xxx
