Controlled crying at 18m! Aaaargh!!

As they get older, their mind takes more in and they dream about it, my lo shouts NODDY...NO NODDY IN HIS SLEEP, lol, then cries, i hate to think what noddy is doing to him. it is hard to know what to do with your child and what book to read.

have you also looked at toddler calm, i know a woman who runs this and alot of people give good reports on it...my lo still wakes 2-3 times a night and hes 26months...x

Lol Wilson that noddy story made me laugh... sorry, poor wee man x

Aww that's so cute! Thank god he's been watching noddy and not something scary!

I think of cc over a short period of time is fine and my LO certainly doesn't think nobody is coming for him. It's not like you're leaving them hours, just minutes... Besides the official advice is no to pick your child up at night time if you can help it (according to my hv) so all you're doing is giving them time to settle themselves before going back, letting them know you're there and leaving them for a bit more then back in.

It's the last resource I think... Checking it's not hunger, pain, fear etc first is essential. It's a difficult thing to do but it is worth it in the end. It took three/four days to regulate my sons sleep and he's basically slept through every single night since. He's also started to nap better, too.

It doesn't work for everyone but in my opinion it's worth a go.

Lol noddy is prob pinching his crips or something lol :) x
