I finally got some sleep last night. When I was contracting they were 5 in every 10 mins. Just like in my labour with my son. So, as you would guess, did not get a lot of sleep :(

I need to go for a walk today though lol

Poor you, I hope they really are something this time

It sounds like you are having a right nightmare Fuffins!!! I would like to have been able to tell you it is all much easier second time around!!!

I don't blame you for not wanting induction - I don't think I would either. I had the same thing with my 1st - was 2 weeks over but still sent home due to lack of staff; then had similar to you, contractions for days and progressed really slowly Went to and from the hospital but 2nd time around I just stayed at home until I was sure serious stuff was happening - went in and they said I was 4cms, and Rose was born 8 hrs later.

Just take it easy and try to relax (know how difficult it is).

All the best, not much longer now,

Thank you

It is nice to know that someone knows what I am going through. Sometimes I feel like it is all in my head. I am in increasing pain tonight and it gets me down. Like you, I am gonna wait until I am on my knees with it this time  :D

Hi Fuffins,

Yeah, they make you feel like it's nothing when you go into hospital - you've been up all night and then they say 'oh, it's not serious, you're only 2cms!!! You can't be in that much pain.....oh...and it gets much worse'. It's so patronising!!!

I remember it being the tiredness more than anything......I think that really got me, and being so tired made the pain so much worse!!! In the end they kept me in and knocked me out with sleeping tablets for a night...only because I was 2 weeks over though!!!

I think sitting it out at home until they're knocking you off your feet is a good plan - that's what I am hoping to do this time too, and I'm not going to listen to my Mum's fussing, ha ha!!!

All the very best, it'll be over very soon hopefully!!!
