p.s mananged to get bubs to engage. head is now veery low. But rocking my hands and knees did not manage to get bubs to turn from back to back. So, looks like I will be in for my second back to back labour :? :( However, any labour right now would be better than none

Went back after I last posted. Was on the CTG. Was measuring huge reg contractions. When checked had only gone from 1.5-a defo 2 cm dilated.  :(

So, they decided to keep me in. All through the night I contracted. Then in the morning they started to die off :( Then they never really picked up again. Just now and again.

Spoke to a doc frommy team. He said they could not induce this weekend, as the risks were a lot higher than doing it wednesday. I think it had more to do with, later finding there were a few women on the ward who had been iven their prostin, but could not go to delivery due to lack of aftercare. Staff shortages. One woman had been waiting for 4 days!

So, this may seem mad, but I have decided not to go for the induction later this week. I cannot face the possibility of going through what those women are. They are just being left. I have spent too much time in there to put up with that.

So, I have made the decision and feel very happy with it. I want to brave the idea of bubs being a biff and wait for it to happen naturally. I am still losing plug and getting pains, so I think my body will do it alone.
If it has not by 40 weeks, then I will have to opt for induction. But before then, I am just gonna give my body and bubs time to come naturally :)

I will tell my consultant my decision tomorrow at antenatal.

Went to the hospital. Went on CTG....Showed I am regularly contracting every 2 mins. But my cervix has yet to dilate. So, they sent me home after a sweep. Got to go back in if they havent settled, which they havent.

Have had lots of pain, blood and goo since sweep. So, fingers crossed for me girls.

But, like Ty, is a back to back labour again!! I must have a wicked child  :rotfl:

Having contractions ranging from 3 -3.40 mins apart. Lasting for over a min. They are getting really tight.

Felt wet earlier (tmi) wiped and the tissue was slimey with blood. Not loads of blood. Wearing a pad.

Contractions are really gripping me and getting uncomfortable.

I hope I am dilating more now. Need to get out of this latent phase of labour :)

I am scared to wish though. Not calling hospital yet, as they do my head in....But will if these get worse! :rotfl:

Oh Fuffins, how exciting- it sounds like latent labour might be on the way out and full on labour is on it's way! I really hope it is for you!

Keep us updated!
