Hunnie you have to do what feels right for you and LO. Advice is just that, advice, it's not set in stone or golden rules. What works for one baby doesn't for another.
I could never leave my LO to cry, even now, if he's having a tantrum now it's a bit different, but at your LOs age I do not have it in me to leave them to cry. But that is what worked for us and our LO is very confident, very independant, is thriving at nursery and developing well. He is also very affectionate and loves giving cuddles and kisses.
It's hard work when they are so young and just went held all the time but just think what a loud, scary, bright place the world is!!
