Clothes to take in hosp for LO

My little one is due 2nd Aug and Im sure it will be hot around that time. What are you all taking with you?

Short sleeve body suits? Long sleeve body suits? Cardigans? Hat? Shawl or blanket?

I know the babes are very chilly and cannot regulate their temp for the 1st 24 hrs???

When I had my son it was June 14th 3 years ago when we had the REALLY hot summer. He was really hot in the baby unit so he was just generally in a sleepsuit or romper suit but he didn't need a vest. When we took him home he had a babygro and his little trousers and top set and also a little jacket I think (It was one of those first set things from mothercare)

I'm taking some sleepsuits, body suits (short sleeved) and romper suits, going home outfit and also a couple of pairs of tiny socks as its going to be July and figured if we need anything else then DH can go home and get it or buy it. (Or get someone else to get stuff for you!)

I took loads last time though and didn't use most of it and had so much to take home with us cause of people visiting with gifts etc!

Good idea Tan.

I can imagine I have far to much in my bag. Ive got a choice of no sleeve bodysuit, short sleeve and baby grow. Her little going home outfit is short sleeve

thats pretty much what i did with my son tan coincidently they share the same birthday too

with beth i had her in march so it was all long sleeved stuff and sleepsuits.
