Clomid buddy needed or just advice?

Kay there is definitely a line there - maybe implantation just took a little while and that's why its still a bit faint? Sometimes it takes 6 weeks to get any line. I know it would feel more certain to have a stronger one but it looks like youre definitely pregnant!!

Hello unicorn, thank you for your messages and the supportiveness, lovely to have you join us. Its interesting to hear what you say about cramps as I feel like there is a lot going on down there at the moment! Managed to make first appointment with midwife today, it will be at 8 weeks which feels ages away. At the moment I'm terrified of measuring my temp in the morning and of going to the loo in case there is blood. Because of my low amh the fertility clinic only gave me a 5 per cent chance of conception without donor eggs so I'm so scared that my egg isn't going to be viable.

Mrs ablett - is your amazon order arriving tomorrow? I just ordered a clear blue digital with the sainsburys online delivery!

Tomorrow is work annual conference and alcohol fest. I'm goin to need to think up something good for my non drinking...

No problem, ask away. We paid to see a consultant privately so I think they just threw everything at us to be honest. Our process was Clomid at the beginning of my cycle to help with egg production, I would then have a scan to make sure there was an egg ready for release and if it was on the right side ( more complications!) then I'd have a trigger shot to release the egg and then start on progesterone to maintain the development and implementation of any fertilised egg. It's that bit I'm most concerned about when considering starting to try again to be honest as I'm sure my progesterone levels still wouldn't be adequate as I can't maintain my cycle properly, I spot for up to a week before my period starts! Xx

My boobs are aching, my temp is up and I can't stop peeing. Symptoms I always get. I've been here too many times before. Something is going on for sure.

So in my panic today I managed to get a hcg bloodtest done.... to confirm pregnancy.... I told the early pregnancy unit I was having cramps and faint tests and they done the test because I don’t have a doctor surgery here yet.... my hcg beta is 15.1! Apparently below 5 is negative above 30 is positive and anything in between is unknown so wtf !!?

So now I need to retest blood on Friday.... it’s 50/50 from here I’m guessing.

BFN here this morning. With FRER. I’m trying to not be unrealistic but will continue to keep testing.

I’m sure they’ll give you the numbers on Friday, Kay.

Whatever happens a positive test on your first round of Clomid is FANTASTIC.

My Clomid baby was a bugger. Tests were feint for days and I bleed almost all the first trimester.

Don’t give up. And enjoy the now. YOU ARE PREGNANT xxx

It’s hard not to think the worst after so long...


What do you plan on doing next?? Are you going to continue ttc? I suppose you don’t even know when AF is due next after the bleed randomly during a cycle?? Would that be classed as Af or not if you didn’t get a BFP?

I’m hoping Friday they can tell me the results, although not too hopeful atm I think I’ve given up and waiting for AF now .... bfp was ALOT more faint today.... xx

I’m going to keep testing until AF.

I’m adamant that wasn’t my AF this week. I’ve had similar and then had a positive a week or so later. Though it mostly doesn’t end well.

I’ll be very honest, I’m going to test every day until I get AF or BFP. I’ve bought 60 tests on Amazon. Ahahahahaha. I’m not even ashamed of my crazy.

I plan to take Aspirin as soon as I get/if I ever get a BFP again.

You are not out yet, Kay. Stay positive. And remember the definite positive is that you got a BFP at all.

I really hope you have a bfp this cycle!! You deserve one after all this stress!!

I would of brought 60 as well so don’t worry! Haha!! And you will get a BFP eventually! And it will be sticky!!

I’ve heard about Asprin once you get a bfp... what’s that for??
