got a day off today :cheer: only 5 more left now and i am finished :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
not much planned for today except taking flowers to my nanas grave its her 1st birthday since she passed away 2moro :(
weather here is torrential hope its better where you all are and youve all got something lovely planned for the weekend  xxxxxxxxxxxx

Morning Rach, glad to hear your 24 weeks, I didn't realise my due date was just a day behind you, I'm 24 weeks tomorrow. Yipee :cheer:

My OH felt the baby kick for the first time last night while we were lying in bed, he never felt our DD, although she kicked loads, he saw her move, but never felt a kick, so I'm chuffed that this time he's felt some kicking.

Weather is miserable here too, apparently flash flooding is expected throughout Wales!! A couple of weeks ago we had flooding, luckily it didn't reach the house, but different friends of mine were flooded!! Hope it doesn't reach them again! :(

My DD is teething at the moment and I'm not sure if it is cos of this but she has started waking at 5.30am, way too early for my liking, we normally get up at 6am, but that extra half an hour makes all the difference, this morning we brought her into bed with us for a cuddle and she just wriggles so much, rolls all over you, starts pulling your nose and playing with your eyes, god it is not relaxing!!!! Her comfort thing is sucking her thumb, while stroking hers or my eyelashes

It's my last day at work until Wednesday as we're going to the zoo :cheer: , yeah I know I've told you all already, can't wait.

Ninjawomble - lucky you having 18 days off, make the most of the time to do all the things it'll be harder to do once your baby arrives, treat yourself go to a health spa or something and get pampered. For my birthday I'm going to ask for vouchers to a salon in town and get a load of treatments.

Have a great day everyone. B x

awww bexie your poor DD christopher is the same hes cutting more back teeth :( dribble is half way down his chest and hes very grumpy and has chewed all his lovely books up :( have made a mental note not to buy him any more till he stops chewing them up
we are lucky we live on a very steep hill nowhere near any canals or rivers so no risk of flooding for us  but the weather is that bad its running like a river down the main road and all the drains are overflowing and we do have a drain not far from our front door which tends to get blocked up with mud so il be watching out for that in case :( xxxxxxxx

Ooh floods, I'm dreading driving home tonight, if i had our 4 x 4 it would be alright but I've got the Mondeo today. I really don't like driving when the rain is this heavy. The sky is black outside, it's such depressing weather! :(

Phoebe is dribbling loads too and has a constant runny nose, which she likes to wipe all over me when I try and wipe her nose, so I have snot stained trousers  , Oh the joy of motherhood, it's all glamour, glamour, glamour here :rotfl: I can only see one tooth coming through on Phoebe, but there may be more, it's difficult to see really unless you manage to get a good look in her mouth when it's wide open. On Wednesday at nursery they let her have a nap from 12.30 until I picked her up at 4.15!!!! I'm guessing it's cos of the teething. I've asked them not to let her sleep that long as it makes it more difficult to put her to bed at 7pm as she's not really tired then. I kept her up till 8, I was ready for bed half an hour later myself :(

Right back to work for me.

Hi ladies!!

Mik Hope you ok too?!

Chok hey hun I can breathe either! Its horrid! And have bad bad heartburn 90% of the time again! :( I got given an inhaler off the doc to help open the airways better but sometimes its so bad the only thing I can do is fall asleep (I dont have much choice I think its my bodies way of shutting down to regulate my breathing!) i get so scared with it sometimes! Then have an anxiety attack!!? :wall:
Try bicarbonate of soda for the heartburn! Its great! Well is for me lol!

Rach YAY on 24 weeks!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: Cant believe how fast your pregnancy is going!! 5 more shifts too!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Gracie  hope your ok?!

Bexie sorry you have been feeling down! Oh no on the floods!! YAY on going to the zoo!!! :cheer:

Ninjawomble Yay on time off!! :cheer: Yay on FBB and Tri 3 !!! :cheer: :cheer:

I hope I got most things! Im still pretty down but not as bad and have been to see the doc today! Been looking into anti depressants and the effects a lot recently an had a good chat with the doc and it would be by far the best for both me and Lola to take them again now! So been prescribed them! I asked for prozac though this time as thats the one most tested and shown as the best to take! Also im going to take one every other day instead of daily and see if that helps any to start with!

Hi Lea

I'm really glad you've done your research and found out that it's ok for you to go back on your anti d's, I can imagine how horrid it is not being able to control all those yucky feelings, I hope you start feeling better once you start taking your pills   .

Ninjawomble just posted a thread about using hair removal creams and it reminded me of my comedy episode last night in the bath trying to prune my garden, boy was it difficult trying to reach over my big belly and get to my bits, I was trying to contort myself into all sorts of positions to get a good shave, I think I'm going to have to have another go at it tonight!

I forgot to say earlier that my OH felt the baby kick last night :cheer: and again this morning :cheer: (or did i mention it earlier and my pregnancy brain is in all of a muddle) When he felt it this morning I thought he was asleep, so i mentioned it at breakfast and he said he was awake and he did think that he'd felt something. I'm over the moon as he never felt our daughter kick (I thought he must have asbestos hands!!), he saw her moving in me loads, but never felt a kick, so I am so glad that he has felt it this time. :cheer:

Not much more to say afaprt off work now until next Wednesday

Hi

Well i've had a busy few days. I can't always get on the net when i'm working so i always feel like i've got so much to catch up with.

I had to do a fasting blood sugar on Friday but as suggested at my last app i asked if they could try to listen for the heart beat (it was too early at my booking in app they said). She found it really quickly and it made me cry. She even let me record it on my phone so that Stuart could listen to it. People at work said it sounds like a dog barking but to me its just perfect.

Thankfully my friends decided not to go out Friday night so after popping to see the in-laws we had a nice quiet night in watching tv together as we knew we had a hectic Sat.

Sat: first we went shopping for birthday presents (also bought some wool to start a blanket - its not too soon is it?). Then after dinner we went to a friends babys 3rd birthday party (also went early to give her a hand with the cooking). Then hame and changed and off to a wedding early evening. Stuart was working (He does the electrics for a singer at the weekend) so we left the wedding just after 9 and i dropped him off then i went to the same friend as before's 40th party. Needless to say i was ready for bed by 1.

I've had a bit of a runny nose this week and i think with all the dashing around yesterday things caught up with me and i felt worse today so i've got to admitt to doing nothing really other than doing the food shopping. Its my day off tomorrow so hopefully i'll feel better and get the housework done then. Mentally i've felt better though listening to the heart beat put my mind at rest for all of 24 hours  . I've also not been itching really so i'm hoping that i've managed to get rid of having scabies  . Time seems to be flying by in one sense it feels like its taking forever but it doesn't feel that long ago that we were doing the pregnancy test.

Anyway thats enough waffle from me Hope you are all ok.

Rach: hope you are feeling better and that the remainder or your shifts are ok.

Lea: hope you get the tablets sorted and are feeling better too.

Bexie: i can't wait till i feel the baby but i think it will be a while yet as its my first.

Kmac: congratulations on the new car i'm sure you'll love it.

Lisaspoon: hope you get your results soon and that everythings ok  .

 Hi to everyone else, speak to you all again soon.

Grace xx
