I bumped into an old school friend today and she's pregnant, her bump is bigger than mine and her baby isn't due until october, it's not fair :(

Something I've noticed at the midwife clinic.. all bumps are different. People who are due within weeks have a tiny bump compared to me and people who are due well after me and have bigger bumps!

My OH's family keep going on about how small my bump is, I personally thought it had grown loads and was really proud, then I see them and they think it's tiny. I want to be proud of my little bump but I feel like it's just not good enough for everybody, they want me to be massive :(

I never knew how paranoid I would be about my bump. Random people that start conversations with me all guess 5 months so I must be about average.

My bump was very high to begin with but now I think it looks like a comedy bump and I've put a football up my jumper

Bet she'll be saying you're the lucky one later on when shes's mahoosive and you have a nice manageble bump!

True :D

Don't feel down about your bump! Be happy it is a small one. Can you imagine having a big massive one early on. Imagine the size of that baby when it is born!

The size of your bump has very little to do with the size of your baby, so try not to worry hun. I was glad I had a small bump first time round, as I lost the weight instantly! I know people who had HUGE bumps and I still had a bigger baby than them. I was told my baby was goning to be tiny as I really didn't have an obvious bump, she was 7lb 14. Some women carry lots of water as well when they are pregnant and so look bigger. I'm bigger this time, but I think it's because its my second (my muscles aren't as tight :x )

xx

There is tons of time to explode yet! I put on the most bumpage with my son after 30 weeks then it's uncomfortable and you'll wish your little bump back

Hang on a minute Missy... I saw your bump when you said you didn't have one and I thought it was pretty big!! SO... I just don't think you're seeing what the rest of us are - that you have a beautiful baby bump (all baby, not fat!)

Anyway, I feel HUGE and it's not always a good thing! I get embarassed telling people when I'm due because they expect me to be further along, I'm getting itchy skin where it's stretching and I think I will probably get stretch marks. Also, my Mum went into labour earlier with me and she was the same size as me when she was pregnant at my stage because of the lack of room in there - and I really don't want to be early :(

So you've heard the other side of it! xx

I starting to feel really big, especially after looking at the other bumps in the thread sticky  I'm running out of clothes too!

People can be mean without meaning too! Your bump is beautiful!
I'm on the large size a(bump wise) and i'm fed up with my FIL thinking it's funny to call me fatso!
