OMG Star your Dr and Midwife need a kick My Dr saw me straight away at 4 weeks and I was given a maternity pack to fill in with the midwifes mobile number on and told to call her anytime and they booked me in at 8 weeks with her. Its horrible worrying and Id be the same. Ive had no spotting at all but I have (today actually) had stretching pains and horrid lower back ache. EPU will be your best bet hunny, they will check everything is ok and Im sure it is. Try and be calm XXXX hugs

Hi all! Sorry to worry you by disapearing! I cant use the internet at new job. I hate new job, I'm too tired to do it well and its boring!

No change my end, except i think the spotting has actually stopped so maybe i was freaking over nothing. I have a doctors app. on thursday morning so i just have to try to chill til then (not at all easy as you all know!)

Jomc! I'm glad your getting your scan, please keep us updated. I'll do the same if they give me one.

hey star fish, can i just ask how far gone are you? and have u had any type of scan at all? Also any chance u could have a urine infection? this can cause cramping (and these can be very painful too). x

Hi BabyA, I dont think I have a urine infection, how would i know? I had cystitis once years ago (after drinking for 3 days solid) but that made me want to pee constantly and it burned. Awful!

I'm just over 5 weeks pregnant I think.

Do you think pickled onions and lying in a bath too long could damage baby (i make sure the bath water is only luke warm as i know you cant have it too hot, but i did stay in it for nearly 2 hours, would that have caused miscarriage?). I also ate an entire jar of pickled onions whilst in the bath, and my husband says no one but me would stick around after that!

hey star fish, glad spotting has stopped heard a lot of girls have this at the start and can be completely normal, and cramps too. Just asked about urine infection as you said cramps were particularly bad. Urine infections can cause burning and constant need to go without much coming kinda like cystitis.

Having a bath or eating pickled onions wont do you any harm. try not to worry hun im sure all is well, xxx
