I remember having them alot in end when I was pregnant with my daughter... Today I have had a bit sore stomach and my bump feels really hard, especially now after I cleaned house its very sore and just read on internet now that braxton hicks can start around this time now ? x

Personally... Mine started last week, 23 weeks... But I guess it depends on the individual xx

i think i had one the other day but i dont understand why we wud get them this early? x

erm when I had Jude they started in January and I had Jude in March, so around 24 weeksish give or take a few for me x

They can start as early as 6/7 weeks hunny just most people cant feel them then x x

oh i felt mine :( stretching away ouch ouch ouch x

I felt one at 10 weeks but havent had any, that I have felt since, everyone is different x x

I've been getting a horrible stretching feeling and tightness whenever I go for a long walk or do housework, but I didn't know what it was, I'm guessing it's this!

I haven't noticed any of these yet! Wonder if I've not had any or if I just can't recognise them?

I've been getting them for a few weeks, usually when walking the dog or going to the loo which is quite inconvenient when you are desparate for a wee!!!!

I dint no if I just don't get them or if I just don't no n I have had them? God knows x x

I had lots of braxton hicks last pregnancy... I read in my pregnancy books, everyone have braxton hicks from early on, its just muscles "practicting" to labour and stretching. And its normal to feel them from 20 weeks when the baby is bigger.. But some can feel earlier, its normal to feel it as your bump goes hard.. But for some it can be painful but its not normal and too much activitiy etc can trigger them more often.. My sister have painful braxton hicks and is not allowed to work now she is 32 weeks.
