Braxton Hicks?

It is too early to feel Braxton Hicks? I keep getting twinges and then when i touch my belly it is really hard, for a minute or so then it goes back to normal. Is this Braxton Hicks and if not does anyone know what it can be? Thanks

I think I've read that you get them from really early on but it's only later that you start to feel it. I asked the midwife about it yesterday and she said that your bump goes really hard when you're having a BH - I've just noticed it happening to me.

My bump tends to go solid and hard for most of the evenings, I've no idea whether its BH or not!
