any one else had braxton hicks

i keep having like a tight sensation across my stomach under my belly button, SIL told me it may be braxton hicks, has anyone else had these?

I started getting BH around week 16 (not that frequent though).
I get them sometimes now, but not very strong, just tightening under my bump and it feels hard. Releases after about 10-15 seconds

Apparently they start from as early as 6 weeks, but we don't notice them!

I've had them tonnes this pregnancy. I don't remember getting them at all 4 years ago! It may just be that I'm more aware of things this time though! Xxx

I think i may be having them sometimes. i say think because i have read in quite a few places that they are not painful but 2 or 3 times a day i get, what i can only describe as, a wave of period type pain across my tummy thats quite painful.

i didnt get any with my dd so not exactly sure what they are meant to feel like x
