Birthing positions

I had an anti natel apointment with the physio last night and she showed us a modle pelvis and if u R lying on ya back you are pushing your baby upwards as well as out. She said a good position is high kneeling (hard to explain maybe Google it lol. Xx

Have just read that birthing on all fours reduces the risk of tearing and also reduces the chances of a back to back labour

my baby was back to back before i went into labour!! any tips on stopping them doing that before labour begins coz if its back to backk when labour starts there is no chance of it turning again!! and the less painful the better this time :) x

I was told last week in antenatal to sit upright as much as possible and to sit on your ball or straight back chair not your sofa.

As for positions anything that gives the benefit of gravity and allows contact with DH x
