That monitored how much I drank during labour. Mw was keen I got through 100ml per hour.

I was banned from drinking water during labour.

It was awful.

I was so thirsty and was gulping it down only to vomit it back it 5 mins later.

Why they ban you ? I was the same i threw everythign back up ! I had some water with fruit juice in it to make it sweeter and i still have images of puking up purple It was awful every bit of water i drank came back up. First drink once bubs was born was AMAZING

Every time I had a drink I barfed it back up. So they told me to lay off the water because me being so sick wasn't good. I had injections to stop the sickness and they didn't work!

I hate hate hate being sick as well. Ick.

I just remember the midwife with her plastic pinny on taking bowls and bowls of my sick away lol. I was even sick in the bath in the room too lol.

Oh i could imagine had we both been in labour same time same hospital they'd of had to fumigate the place !! I kived pretty close to HOspital so when i was measured at only two after 24 hours of contractions i went home. 6 hours later i was back in but in the car on the way back i puked into bag .... turned out the bag had a hole in it so i was covered in sick, i walked into the labour ward to the same midwife id had the night before crying saying i got sick on myself. Those god awful sick bowls i hated the feel of them it freaked me out

When i was younger i would be sick the first day of my priod so i knew i would be sick in labour
