Well...... as you've probably seen from my most recent thread, my long awaited AF has shown up after a horrible 9 month wait and constant worry that my body is not functioning properly after coming off the pill in January .
Anyway, I had been referred by my GP for a specialist appointment to find out why things just weren't happening for me. My appointment was in early august with my GP and I phoned the hospital on Friday to be told that I shouldn't expect an appointment til the middle of november
So, my mum was over with me and my sis for a couple of days and whilst my sis was at work, mum and I decided to go shopping in the city
Whilst we were there I came up with the idea of going to a chinese medical centre (quickly googled one on Iphone) to see about alternative therapy.
We found one and it had a big advert in the window about regulation of ovulation, mensturation and cures for infertility.
Went in and spoke with the wee chinese lady. She looked at my tongue and felt my hands. She told me (in a round about way) that I had bad circulation which was preventing a decent "flow" to my uterus that the lack of pressure would mean that no period could get through any slight blockages I was very sceptical about it but just said "so what can you give me for it"??
She gave me Nuan Gong Yun Zi Wan Imagine even trying to say it...... she had broken english so it was sort of hard to get the gist of what it all meant, but I've googled it and here is what it is supposed to do:
Before you read on (in case you cba to read the below) I have to take 24 (yes 24) pills a day 8 pills, 3 times a day. So I took the 24 pills yesterday and my AF arrived at about 6am today!!!!! Is it coincidence??? Or is it the mystery of ancient chinese remedies??? All I know is that i'm well chuffed to bits!!!!!! Sorry for the long post, thought some may find it useful to know xx
