Anyone taking these ? been to gp two days in a row now about heart palpatations i'm having as there getting really bad. They did an ecg and my pulse was fast. They don:t know whats causing it so have put me on beta blockers. which she said is perfectly safe in pregnancy. I'm bit worries though as i though they were a no no especially in late stage ?

Just looking for reassurance really xx

I didn't want to read and run but I'm afraid I don't know the answer to your question.

Do take peace of mind though that doctors don't prescribe anything in pregnancy that would harm your baby, if she says they are safe then take thier word for it :)

Beta blockers are safe in pregnancy and labetalol is commonly given as first line drug for raised BP/pre eclampsia in pregnancy. The no no drugs are ace inhibitors such as lisinopril etc.
