Thank you everyone for all your messages.

I went into hospital yesterday for the pessaries for the medical management. It was not as painful as I thought it might be but I am so glad I am not sqeamish as it involved a good couple of pints of blood.

In the end I had to stay in last night as I had bled so much and they were not sure that I had actually passed all 'the product' as they put it.

I got out at lunch time today and have to go back in 2w for a scan to see if there are any bits left.
