Anyone put much thought into baby names? I thought it might make a nice thread to share our ideas for names instead of stressing out!

Personally im trying to find some welsh names i like because my OH is Welsh and very patriotic! I think Mali is nice for a girl and maybe Morgan for a boy?

I like the idea of a welsh baby name for a boy, not so much for a girl, only because I've already picked a girl name for when we do get pregnant :) Lilly for a girl :) I do like something like Gareth for a boy or Rhys or something like that

They are both lovely names Cherelle. Me and my OH have spoken about it but didnt have many ideas yet. With my little man, he was always being called Adam from the day i found out i was pregnant but if he was a girl he would of been called Lilly Rose or Lilly Grace.

Great idea for a thread x x

We like Theodore for a boy it goes with our Greek surname and I love it shortened to Theo not sure about girls names, though I do like Eva

i can think of hundreds of girls names but i really struggle for boys names!! at the moment for a girl it would be either Erin or Ava. x

Just found out im having a boy and he will be called Joseph, Joe for short. I knew all along he was a boy and decided on name very early on x

My little boy will be called Tomos, and if we get another boy he'll be William Ellis. I was and still am struggling with girls names so was glad when I found out its a boy.

We both said a while back when we first started ttc that if we was to have a boy we could call it tyler john newman.. john after his dad that adopted him and for a girl we would call her katelyn lilly newman, as my oh's mum had a still birth and her name was lilly :)

Ooh cherelle, we live in West Wales and i think some of the welsh names are just lovely, never heard Mali though, how is it pronounced. I knew a woman who's name was said Ma - lie but she was German, or is it Ma-lee like the Island?

The Welsh names have such nice meanings too - like Dylan which means 'the sea child' and Drew 'wise one' and Bryce - the alert and bright (clever)

I met a welsh girl called Angharad, (though everyone called her Harry) which means 'most beloved'.

Oooo my names are Joseph Steven and Isabella Marie...... :) xxx

For a girl it would be Emily Jayne and for a boy Lewis Alfie.

Emily was my Granny's sisters name, Granny's middle name was Jayne. I'mnamed after my Granny and I don't want to name my child after me lol. Lewis because 1. I really like the name 2. its a Scottish Isle ;) Alfie because its my dads name. It doesn't quite go but I promised my dad lol. Might be Lewis Alfred. But then again when that baby comes out I may completely change my mind!

Oh mine are tyler-jay for a boy and ellie mae for a girl bit annoyed as friend just called hers ella so quite similar. also quite like zak and grace. but first 2 are what we both like! x

I really like the name Morgan for a boy - nice choice.

@PinkyMum My niece's name is Emily Jayne. :)

I have always loved lots of girls names but struggle with boys! I like Charlotte for a girl or Jessica, and for a boy im stuck! I love William but doesnt go with OH surname!

OH likes Oliver for a boy but not for me!

I reeeely like Milo Jacob for a boy (absolutely no meaning behind the name, just like it)
my OH wants Asa for a boy, so when we come to the bridge of what sex it is we will have to fight it out.
I like Molly Ella for a girl, again no significance or anything, just sounds cute lol
OH wants Ruby Ella for a girl. Again, waiting for that all important scan! Even if at the scan we can't find out the sex for any reason, it will be more of a fun waiting game :D lol x

i already have a wee boy called william alan, wull for short (named after his dads dad and my dad)

if we ever get blessed with a girl we have named her katelynn and for a boy blake finlay (my OH's dad) therws no real meaning behind the girls name, we just like it and like the spelling of it x

I looked on google for baby names i havent really found any that stand out yet, i want one that no1 has heard of xx
