Hi Ladies

Can I join you? I'm due on 26th August. Had an early scan last week that put me a few days ahead of what I thought I was so I'm 9 + 6, looking forward to getting into double figures tomorrow!

Apart from suffering with quite bad anxiety I've been lucky with symptoms, only slight nausea which seems to have passed. Getting up 3 times a night to pee tho!!

The anxiety has lessened since I had my scan last week. I was terrified something was wrong, my age (37 on Monday) was worrying me and also that my bmi is 35 and I will be under a consultant. I'm doing much better this week and am counting down the days till I have my 12 week scan.

I have been reading this thread but only worked up to joining today.

Welcome KatieBelle - what area are you from? Great that you've had an early scan and that has released some of the anxiety. I had one at 5wks 5 days (few days earlier than I'd expected to be) and saw a heartbeat. Makes such a difference. Long wait for the 13 wk scan now (another 3 wks to go).
 
Hi Ladies

May I join you? I had my scan today (and it all went well), due 11th August. We are expecting our first child.
I've been reading the thread for a while, but did not want to join. My last pregnancy ended with a mc at 11+3 so it did not feel real enough to me untill today.
 
Had my scan today, it was amazing. Such a relief to see him floating around in there, wiggling and kicking his legs out! (I'm calling him a him, I think it's gonna be a boy :P). Due date is now officially 10 August, so it didn't change :)

This is my 12+1 bump :) Any guesses on gender? Hubby thinks boy, or maybe he's just hoping!

My 10 week scan is Friday 3rd Feb and my booking in appt Sunday 5th. Wishing next week to whizz by! I should get a clear scan at 10 weeks, right? Also hoping for abdominal only really.

I think it would be an abdo scan at 10 weeks, and they are pretty well formed by then as well, so hopefully you'll get a decent image :)
 
Hello lovely ladies, it is so nice to see all your scans. We had ours on Thurs and our due date has moved from 10th to 9th Aug. The little dude wouldn't move into the right place for the downs test though unfortunately. I hope everyone goes well for everyone having their scans over the next few weeks x

I always use the skull theory to guess and am currently at 5/5 on guesses in the past year! I'd say girl although as its little head is touching the side of the womb that could be distorting the view slightly x
