Lol I have a craving for mushy peas! (Didn't really like em before) heh.
I had some severe cramping that woke me (hence 2am post lol) it was so bad I thought i was gonna thorw up. It felt like I was miscarrying, but no? No blood and cramping went in less 5 mins from starting.
Any ideas what this was? In my experiences if i had pain like that, usually would bleed straight away. I am preparing for mc at some point now though. Gonna try give epu a call and ask for a scan x
Elsepeth, you are not far from me at all. I live in medway
Early scans here are around £100 and I don't drive, so very limited to where I could go. We decided though, not to have one and just wait for the 12 week one.
I am 6+5 today going by lmp and so far still only have the sickness feeling. Normally by this time, I was literally bringing my guts out. Maybe it's a girl this time, as the last ones were all boys
If it stays like this, I for once cam live with it.
I do wear the travel bands every day though.
Hope everyone got well into the new year. Mine was very quiet and I cheered into the new year with a cup of tea haha very in style
Plus I got a lovely lay in yesterday, as my mum and dad kept my DS for new years eve.
I am going away to Birmingham in April for 5 days, which was booked before I knew I was pregnant and I can't take my little one with me so he'll be staying with my parents in that time. Now we are training him to sleep there. Will be strange but will also give me a chance to spend some quality time with my older boy
How many children has everyone got or is it your first?
Congratulations bumblebee! Best Christmas present ever!
Just click on the thread that you wish to read and write in if you wish to. You'll get used to it quickly!
Glad that your scan was positive Peanutbutter. I bet you can't wait until the 11th! Best wishes and stay strong xx
Seems that everyone is doing well, apart from morning sickness! I'm 5 weeks 4 days so bracing myself in case the nausea starts later this week! Time will tell I suppose...! My only real craving so far has been marmite. Marmite on toast for breakfast every day and twiglets when that hasn't given me my 'fix' for the day!
Back to work tomorrow... eeeek. Anyone else back already or going back tomorrow? I'm dreading it in many ways! Haha
I went to get mine and the nurse turned me away! The midwife was not happy when I told her.Forgot to ask ladies, has anyone had or are you planning on getting the flu jab? Nhs website seems to recommend it xx
Vampysgirl, that's great we are in the same area.
That sounds like really good news Pb, it's going to be hard waiting for the next scan date though I can imagine. Any more nausea?
Vampysgirl, I'm the same. I had my miscarriage at 11 weeks the day after we dtd. Had a small amount of spotting in the morning which I didn't even worry about and put down as one of those things and then woke up in the night with labour type contractions. Neither me or DH feel comfortable doing it. Feel sorry for him after all his efforts to make the baby though.
I know sex didn't cause the miscarriage and it just started the inevitable but I haven't been able to get over the fear yet.
I am Devastated. I made an amazing chicken casserole... And then realized chicken is not for me right now. It happened with Athena too but later on. So gutted, I eat chicken all the time . Anyone else had any aversion s?
