... Me and my OH are ttc at the moment but we cannot agree on any names at all. My OH is welsh i know it would mean so much to him to name our kids welsh names but i cant find any nice ones!!

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Personally, I think there are tonnes of beautiful Welsh names out there... they just don't agree with everyone xD

My Brother's name is Emlyn which I believe is Welsh?? Our family aren't welsh but his surname is Hughes and his Dad is a Liverpool fan and when he was born they settled on Emlyn Hughes after the liverpool player!

LOL it's funny, I'm Welsh, my first language is Welsh, I live in Wales, have done my whole life... but I'm not really a fan of Welsh names!! The only ones I like (for boys) are Cai and Caleb, though I think Nia is quite a nice one for a girl.

thanks so much everyone! Naaat - i totally agree with the names you like, i think maybe cai for a boy and we have been thinking mali for a girl maybe.

I want something that isnt too hard to say, i dont really like welsh names with w in them ... for instance my other half like gwennen and gwenith but im not a fan! x

My Mum's name is Olwen. She doesn't like it cos it's unusual, but I love it because it is!! A while ago my friend was flicking through a celtic book and randomly said, Olwen, that's a really lovely name, without know it was my Mum's!!
