I'm so angry right now, my 'USELESS' doctors surgery are refusing to refer me to the EPU for another scan to confirm viability and to confirm my date, they will only do it if its an emergency, e.g a suspected ectopic! I said I suspected an ectopic last week which was the reason i went for a private scan in the first place
I spoke to the community midwife on sat who is the only person so far to be of any help to me, she was the one who said i need to get my doctors to refer me and it shouldn't be a problem...huh she dont know my doctors! In fairness the doctor i saw who was new was lovely, and he was happy to do it, it was only when he spoke to the other doctor. He said he will speak to my actual doctor in the morning and call me but I dont think they will refer me. I dont see what the problem is....? its so upsetting i could cry

Can't you just ring your local hospital and speak to the bep clinic? Thatsbwhat we do here go directly to them xx

But no apparantly i have to have a referral, I dont think i am 'in the system yet' so everything still has to get referred by the GP
The midwife manager i spoke to did say to contact her if there was a problem and she would contact my doctors directly so I will ring her tomorrow. Nothing has been easy for me so far

Is another private scan not possible hun? You could go to A and E if your really that desperate and say your having bad pains? They will refer to EPU.

I just dont have the money, that last one has skint me. I have thought of that, but almost feel like its tempting fate lying about pains. I will see what they say in the morning, and speak to the midwife if i dont get any joy. Not giving up, they will refer me or I'll stage a bloody sit in!!!! lol

Ditto! Luckily hubby has been picking up things like hoovering but haven't done any washing in about two weeks!! Going to run out of knickers soon so need to get my act together!! Xxx

Morning all! I know what you mean about housework... I do not have the energy for it at all! Well on the plus side my fertility nurse came back from her leave yesterday and I finally have my early scan date! I go next Wednesday at 8:45! So excited and nervous all at once!
Hope everyone is doing ok! Lovely to see the new bfp's!! X

First baby (still feels weird saying/typing that!) not sure when i'm due, cycles not always regular but got a v v faint positive on a cheap test on 6 august, waited until 8th to do another, still v faint so did a first response at lunch that day and got a faint positive on that. Clear blue digi last monday say 2-3 so with some rough guessing i'd say i'm 5+1 and due around 21st April

Just wanting on the doctor calling me. I feel a bit sicky today, luckily i am working from home well im laid on my bed with my laptop still not dressed, yep thats my kind of work! Oh and i'm right there with the no housework thing, i did hoover on sat but only cause i had a friend coming round. Im so lazy
