I also just weighed and iv only gained a quarter of a pound in 2 weeks! And iv been eating all the time.

Fab that's good. I am too scared to get on the scales!!! Haven't weighed myself since February so god knows how much I've gained since then!!! Xxx

I am too scared to weigh myself. I have put on 2 stone since I got married. I just can't get motivated to loose some weight.

I am too scared to weigh myself. I have put on 2 stone since I got married. I just can't get motivated to loose some weight.

I had put on 2 stone since I got married too and another stone when pregnant last time! I've lost 20lbs so far and already feel so much better for it. I'd like to lose another stone and a half but don't know how realistic that is now that I'm pregnant. Tbh I'll be happy just not to gain lots during my pregnancy!
Once you feel confident in your pregnancy Michelle, you're mood will lift and you may feel like eating more healthily which will inevitably help with the extra weight you feel like you're carrying, but looking at your picture, I don't think you've got anything to worry about. But it's all about how we feel in ourselves xxxx
 
My BMI is 28 so not good. Like you said as long as I don't put on lots of weight through my pregnancy and feel healthy then that's the most important thing. I guess us ladies are never happy with our bodies though

I've gained weight since getting married last year too. I'm figuring though once our little ones are here we'll be too busy chasing them around to over eat. At the moment I am trying to be sensible with what I eat, but I'm not stressing too much- plenty of time to lose weight afterwards! Xxx
 
I read about some women who actually LOST weight during pregnancy and ended up a couple of stone lighter at the end....hope to God that's me! Doesn't really help that I feel hungry all the time!!! Maybe we can all motivate each other to stay healthy :)

You're right Michelle, we're never happy! I got down to just under 9 stone 3 years ago, wearing size 10 on the bottom and size 8 on top and I was still unhappy with my body!!!!

You're right Naomi, making sensible choices is what it's all about, especially when pregnant to ensure we give our babies the good nutrients they need! We've got the rest of our lives to worry about the weight loss x
 
I've lost a bunch of weight which I've kept off for about 5 years now. I emailed my class instructor the other day to ask how I can get the balance right between eating sensibly without the intention of losing weight and she said it's perfectly healthy to only gain 1lb a month! Would love to only gain 9lbs but I put on 2lb last week! I was off work so was out of routine but I hope to maintain this week xx

Yes this happens a lot because when pregnant, a lot of women will go from eating a fairly unhealthy diet to eating a healthy one, so weight naturally comes off and also being nauseous/sick helps!!
 
Im the opposite to you ladies, I eat but struggle to put on weight. Its took me a long time to get to a healthy weight. I actually hate being too skinny.
 
Good to know! Although not really looking forward t the morning sickness/nausea!
 
Mornings ladies!

Today's my last day of my holidays and typical my sickness has kicked in big time :( I had to drive to Glasgow and back yesterday, it was not a fun journey! I so hope I manage to control it at work!

Try eating little and often, this helped me last time xx

I'm worried about that too...how do people cope with morning sickness AND a full day of work? I'll probably need to toughen up a bit...
 
Morning ladies

Having a lazy day today, not even dressed! Only reason i got up was because i was starving...times like this i miss an OH to make me toast :(
Talking of weight I went on the scales yesterday and seem to have lost a pound....not sure how? although this was before i had fish and chips, followed later on by a sandwich, half a bounty and some pringles lol

I've been told its better to eat little and often which is great for me as thats what i've always done, cant face eating big dinners, i dont have a big appetite.
