Midwife appointment was looooooong. Was all a bit overwhelming. I don't do anything until my scan now in 6-9 weeks time. I spoke to her about how scared I was and she simply said "your odds of having this baby are far greater than not", simple but put me at ease.
Hope everyone is ok, I've been really nauseous and hot today, I've kind of got used to how sore my boobies are now!

Just treated myself to some below the bump maternity jeans as they were on offer. You never know when you will start to need them.

Think I'm going to be needing some quite soon if I carry on the way I'm going!!! Ha! Xxx

Hehe they looked so cute and I couldnt resist. I cant wait until I can actually wear maternity clothes.

Took a digi and it came up 2 - 3 weeks

Yay that's good, it's exciting to see the numbers going up on the digi.

I can't wait to wear maternity stuff too- shame it's winter stuff that we'll be needing as some of the summer stuff is lush!! Can't wait til I don't have to hide the bloat lol xxx

She took lots of blood samples and a urine sample. There were quite a lot of questions about our health and our family's. Weighed me, measured me, bp etc. Went through Sure Start and what dates I will be seeing her. Took about an hour all in all. I'm sure if they knew you were on a time limit they could do it more effectively. Xx

Wow sounds quite in depth!! I'm a nightmare to get blood from so it could end up taking a while! Xxx

I did my digi this evening after holding my wee in for 2 hours and still got a 2-3 I'm 5+1 today xx

I wouldn't worry- they're not 100% reliable as conception indicators, and different people's hcg increase at different rates xxx

2-3 weeks on a digi indicates a 4-5 week pregnancy so thats perfectly fine. Im 5 weeks and got that. I would test again after 6 weeks and see if it gone up

I just want to know that everything is ok NOW!

I know the feeling!! My mw appt is two weeks Friday. Going to book an early private scan which the earliest they can do is 24th Aug when I'll be nearly 8 weeks. Now I have the dilemma of having it then or waiting another week when I'm nearly 9 weeks! Decisions! Xx

Private scan sounds like a good shout! I might look into that. If it was me, I probably wouldn't be able to wait till 9 weeks......far too impatient!

Aaahh I feel your ladies pain.. my private scan isnt until the 31st Aug when I will be 8+2 weeks and I dont see the MW until 2 Sept when Ill be 9 weeks.

Hello April mummies have had such a horrible stressful few days that I've come on here to calm down!

Booked my booking in appointment with the midwife, 28th of August so I'll be 8+5 by then, I can't wait I was warned on the phone it'll take about an hour!

I've just been to the toilet and when I wiped there was a smear of brown. No red, but two wipes of watery brown. Like at the very, very end of AF.
I'm so frightened. Should I phone the widwife? Wait and see what happens?

Hi ladies, *waves* any room for an extra one got my bfp two days ago, digi says 3+ so I'm guessing due date is 14th April suffering with dizzyness and constantly feeling sick :/
