So my booking appointment was due to be on Friday but the midwife called yesterday to confirm the appointment then said she could actually do it then! So I have had my booking appointment all went well and my bloods will be taken at my 12 week scan. I also managed to get hold of my gp and was prescribed Cyclizine for sickness and my god... today is the first day I have drunk something other than water for 3 weeks. I feel wonderful but my previous tooth infection has reared its ugly head again, so that's not the best.

that’s so good gp did that hun.....I’m pleased your midwife appointment went well I got mine in couple of weeks and I will be 9 weeks x Sorry to hear about your tooth. I been hit by the lovely symptom of constipation xxx

New to this forum.
I got my BFP at 9dpo, the day after my birthday, best birthday present ever.
The NHS website says my due date is 29th April.

My first pregnancy, this is all so new and exciting! My symptoms haven’t been too bad so far, just abit of acid reflux and nausea. Also, mild cramps that feel abit like period cramps.

my nausea just feels like that sickness you feel when you are really hungry.. even though I had eaten within the last couple of hours... would this be my morning sickness?

my first appt is 17th sept, at 7 weeks 5 days.
I was shocked that you don’t actually see anyone until then, so far I have just been googling any questions I have! I really thought once you find out you are pregnant that the dr talks to you about it.

I am just an anxious person, and trying not to worry too much, I think that this group will really help. I tested from 9dpo- 12dpo on the strips. The FRER was on 9dpo. I then did a digital clearblue at 13dpo and it said 1-2weeks.
I haven’t tested since but it’s so hard to not keep testing. Just in case.

Welcome! I personally tested up until my scan day. Once I saw a heartbeat I havent tested since even though I have about 10 IC left! Test until you feel satisfied or reassured. Test all throughout pregnancy if it makes you feel better the first trimester is so difficult at times.

Second day taking Cyclizine and I feel a bit sick. I also have horrendous trapped wind feeling in my chest. Yes! Constipation here too. What a wonderful time!

Just found out Monday I’m pregnant due 26th April!! Is it normal to feel absolutely petrified? I’m so excited about my pregnancy and it’s what me and my partner wanted but my biggest fear is telling my family cause I know they disagreed with it in the first place! Xxx

It’s just hard waiting for confirmation everything is going ok, the not knowing is so stressful and it hasn’t even been a week since I got my BFP.
Aww has the cyclizine still relieved some of your sickness? Have you tried ginger tea or biscuits? Hopefully things get better for you.

I think that is normal, even though we have been trying for 5 months when I saw the BFP I swore because I was shocked and then panicked a little!
I’m sure your family will come round to it in time, if not straight away!

Great news for your appointment and your sickness!! Glad to hear that all is going smoothly Thumbs down for the tooth infection. Hope that doesn't bother you for too long!

I'm actually having a normal day today too! No sickness (yey!) Hope it lasts!

I will be doing bloodwork sooner than the 12 week scan. I have an appointment in 3 weeks, when I will be just over 9 weeks.

Hearing the heartbeat is the most wonderful feeling in the world and a great reassurance! A shame now with covid measures they don't allow our partners to join us at the doctors office.... I was so disappointed! Is it the same with all you ladies out there?

For the sickness I recently tried squeezing some fresh ginger through a garlic press and mixing the juice in my water or some sparkling water. It actually does wonders for me!

My morning sickness feels like I had too much to drink the night before(lol) without an appetite for anything other than some crackers and ginger tea!

100 per cent I’m so so scared but excited at the same time. I not really had many symptoms just odd ones. Maybe speak to them one by one xxx

@Olivia118 yes! In the early weeks you have symptoms, but they’re inconsistent and unreliable at best, and it’s like— watching that HPT line get darker is all you have to hold on to! My phone appointment is still almost a month away and first scan isn’t until October 2. I know it’ll fly by, I have been here before... but it’s also feeling sooooo far away.

But I’ve known for 2 weeks already and that already feels like it’s flown!

@Zoe_helen25 i have had some pregnancies with very few symptoms- in fact I seem to be the most symptomatic with this one (and my first, too- and she’s a HIGHLY emotional girl!). I’m sure you’re fine! When is your first scan again?

@JoJo19 take all the tests and post them here! Ha. How are you feeling?

@colette_h when I was pregnant with my younger daughter I lived for root beer candy. But I never had bad nausea, just mild queasiness.

I did do a test earlier, and it was diluted because it wasn’t my first morning wee and I can’t hold my wee very long when I’m awake but it was definitely darker than a few days previous so this made me happy. I think I may have to do a test every few days just to keep my mind at rest.

I’m feeling quite tired today, considered going to bed at half 9, managing to stay awake a bit longer.

I don’t know when my first scan will be, I guess mid October, which does feel so far away atm.

I hope time flies for us all.
I cannot wait to share and see everyone’s scans

late to the party but my predicted due date is 15th April. I have my midwife appointment on the 7th Sept and then my first scan on the 8th Oct.

I’ve had sore boobs for weeks now - slightly better today. I only get really queasy if I need to eat. I’m going to the toilet a lot though! My sleep has been rubbish the last couple of weeks as I have to get up in the night to go for a wee...

Anyone else feel slightly nervous as they sort of feel pregnant but I haven’t had any cramps or stretchy feelings for a few weeks. It’s my first ever pregnancy and we took 7 months to conceive so I guess I’m just feeling nervous. Also didn’t help that randomly on the news the other day a woman told her story of going to her first scan to be told she’d had a miscarriage with no symptoms and the “product” was still in tact.

hello and welcome your same date as me !! I got midwife appointment 7th too but not had scan letter through yet so will prob know in couple of weeks where I am at. I have weird moments as one min I’m having odd symptoms but nothing out the ordinary. I’m just trying stay positive and get to the 12 week scan xxx

Oh yay! Baby twins!

We got our midwife and scan letter in one envelope. I’m based in SW London and have gone with Kingston hospital. According to my pregnancy apps I’m 7 weeks today.

The waiting is a killer. I’m not a patient person
