Hi all. Havnt been on here for a while. Feeling less pregnant today. Anyone else get that feeling? Feeling a bit down and stressed about it. Think I’m afraid that baby isn’t growing. Can’t wait for a scan to make sure baby is ok. Think I might go for an early scan. Think I might go when I’m 7 weeks as could be a week behind than I thought. Or I might get another pregnancy test to make sure the line is still strong but scared just in case. Think my anxiety is kicking in as iv mc before. Can anyone else relate?

I know it’s so hard to stay positive but they say it’s normal not to get really any symptoms till ur further on. I feel pregnant one min then I’m like ooo no symptoms try not to worry I know it’s hard especially after experiencing a mc as I have been there with my wife. I just try and appreciate every day I have with this one and I’m getting closer and closer to my scan date xxxxx

Hi guys. Iv took two more pregnancy tests today and the first line is very strong but the second line is really faint? What does this mean? Is it I’m more pregnant this week or does it mean I’m losing the baby? Any advice will help x

If the test line is darker than the control line it means your HCG levels are so high it steals dye from the control line.

It's a good sign

Thought I'd just update some line progression! Pleased to see it getting darker at 10dpo.

With my first my line progression it took forever. I was convinced I was having another chemical but everything was fine. This time I’ve seen it a lot darker but I did avoid early testing.

How is everyone’s doctors handling appointments with the pandemic?

I rang mine this morning, they’re only doing telephone appointments and you have to phone on the day that you want the appointment. The GP will call me back between 11 and 12 today.

I wonder how they’ll handle midwife appointments etc. I saw on my hospital Facebook page that they are allowing partners at scans now though.

Our Midwives are working separately to the GP now. You book direct with them and visit at the CDC. I had my first appointment two days ago and I should have my booking in over the phone next week at some point.

Aww bless you, yeah I can relate. The early days are so stressful. I did like 10 pregnancy tests in the first couple of weeks ‍ spent a fortune and every time I got a positive it only made me feel better for a really short time. The anxiety is real lol. I find with my symptoms they definitely come and go so what you've described sounds normal to me. Xx

Nice to see another Scot in the group. I actually live in London but go up to see family as much as I can. My sister lives out Lenzie/Kirky way.

My daughter was 14 months when no 3 arrived! And actually he’ll have just turned 2 when no 4 arrives!

My son will be 2.5 when this one turns up.

Considering I said I wanted to wait a minimum of 5 years I failed there

Hey, haven’t checked in here for a little while. 7w+5 today and I’m soooooo tired! I’m sleeping in until - 10am then I’m napping again by 2pm - anyone else experiencing similar fatigue? I’m also feeling nauseas all day at the minute, only finding peace when I’m asleep! My first was so different, not a bit of fatigue or nausea throughout the entire pregnancy, just sore boobs! This time I think I’ve got nearly every symptom under the sun!
