Kholl, just looking at your signature, is this baby no5 for you? How have you found it telling people, the more children you have? Sorry if that’s too personal. I’m already worried about this one, I had such a negative response with no3.

@Dj2015, that is not too personal at all! Yes, I do have 4 kids already. I guess by now in a way I am used to the comments, though i can’t pretend they don’t hurt sometimes. My parents especially had a very weird response when I told them I was pregnant last time, and though I’ve tried to just kind of shake it off, 2 years later it still bothers me and makes me worry for when I tell them this time. I have realized over the years who my true allies are, and that’s been worth all the weird comments. And yeah, if you have more than 2 kids, it’s like you’re fair game for all kinds of rudeness. I know my sister and my 3 dearest friends will always be supportive, so I have told them. DH’s parents will be over the moon, we could have 20 kids and they’d be overjoyed each time. So I’m grateful for that. Everyone else I swear I don’t even want to tell until baby is born... ha!

Oh and I didn’t even answer your question! The biggest lesson I’ve learned is to speak with joy and confidence. I was almost apologetic when I told people about babies 3 and 4. Now I will be confident and calm. I AM overjoyed and excited and we wanted this and F everyone who can’t handle that. Obviously they have their own deep insecurities to have a weird response at all!

Well I’m one of 3 girls and I am over joyed that you want to make ur family bigger. We are not comparing you to the Radford family here who has 22 kids (no idea how she managed to get through 22 births very strong women)

I’m very anxious at this stage as this was time our baby last year stopped growing, I know my wife was carring but I can’t help but think

I just need to stay positive the next 6 weeks... but it’s so hard once you have experienced sadness you can’t help it .....

My youngest is 18 months, my mum did ask me a little while ago if I was going to have anymore, and I said maybe one more.

Drs called yesterday. I've been passed onto the MW as urgent to get a early scan
Kinda hoping for 7weeks rather than 6 weeks.
But we shall see.

How is everyone’s doctors handling appointments with the pandemic?

I rang mine this morning, they’re only doing telephone appointments and you have to phone on the day that you want the appointment. The GP will call me back between 11 and 12 today.

I wonder how they’ll handle midwife appointments etc. I saw on my hospital Facebook page that they are allowing partners at scans now though.

can I ask girls my boobs are getting very big I m really not that big at all I was a 36D and my mum meassured me and I gone up to 38e what the hell xx I’m getting some new bras I can’t cope with the uncomfortableness xxx any one else struggling

I’ve got huge boobs anyway (and not in a sexy way) but yes I think they’re bigger, and incredibly sore, although I’ve not been measured in a very, very time!

Hey there ladies, Congrats to you all and so happy to be able to join this group! According to my tracking app I'm at 5w3d due April 17th!! Can't wait for my first appointment next week to make sure all is going smoothly. So far no major symptoms other than minor twinges and pleeeenty bloating!!

I spoke to my GP today, she’s dating me from the 8th June, which makes me 10 weeks, so looks like I’ll be moving to March. I’m sure that’s not accurate though.

Hello I think I’ll be in here!

Today I found out I’m pregnant with baby no4! I’ve not had a period since June but negative tests until today when it went to a 3+ on a Clearblue!

I’ve had sore boobs for 3/4 days, and a super strong sense of smell which made me test! Absolutely no idea about dates though.

Yes I'm usually a 34E but I've gone to a 36E in a super roomy sports bra. I know it's not much of a growth spurt but I went from a 32C to a 34E with my son and never went back.....so I'm expecting the same here.

I had my first scan today. Measuring at 7+4. Saw the heartbeat. 1 baby in the right place. On the far right which I knew as that's where I keep getting twinges. I will try to upload a pic

I’m from the us over here! New Mexico! I’ll be 5 weeks tomorrow!! My midwife has told me my first ultrasound will be in 2-3 weeks I’m so excited!

Good morning. Had a horrible night
Noticed some spotting and cramping so convinced I was having another MC .
I ended up getting into bed with my son for a cuddle at 9pm
Now I'm wide awake
No more spotting or cramping
And I've tested and the line is decent. Although it's a odd one because im due on today but only 11dpo so the lines aren't very dark.
Should they be darker?


Need to get past today and tomorrow and I think I'll chill a bit..

How is everyone else doing?
