**** April 2019 mummies ****

Is anyone reading any books? My mother in law, just had conveniently laying around  2 of holly willaboobies (easier to spell that lol) books and i have already learnt so much, more so about breast and bottle feeding and i am just about to go on to weening, so i would highly recommend it to us new mums.

I have been looking at pram's. I need a double though boohoo! My youngest is two in a few weeks so will still need a pram when baby is born. Seen some nice doubles though xxx

I’ll talk to the OH when he’s back from work and see what he says. :) I really want that pram.
Yeah I constantly feel like I’m going to jinx it if I do stuff!!
Bless you MM you’re going to have your hands full!!!
FINALLY got my 12 week scan appointment 26th of September. I’ll actually be 13 weeks by that point but I’m away the week before visiting the OH’s folks down in Norwich (we’re in Newcastle so dreading the 5 and a half hour train journey!!) but I should *just* be 13 weeks on the dot so I don’t think I’m too late. :)
Really craving marmite today, and twiglets, anything salty. However I can’t stand any salt on my food at the mo, how weird! Xx

Yes! Have got a pregnancy week by week book and bought my OH a ‘New dad’s survival book’ which I’ve read more of than him! It’s even better than my book! Haha. Does anyone else find that all the information about pregnancy changes depending where you read it? My app says one thing, NHS website says another, and my book says something completely different! To be honest I’m trusting the NHS facts more than anything else, just because I feel like they should be the most accurate. :P

ooooo i might have to get this for my oh - where did you get it from?

I think thats like everything in life isnt it, you never read two things that say the same - i think i like Hollys book because she has 'been there, done that and got the tshirt' but does always state that every child is obviously different and what she is saying is just guiding advice really, but for the people who know nothing, it is really easy and simple to read and understand.

Same day as me, but i will be 11 weeks
Annoyingly mine is at 4pm

I got it from Waterstones! It’s very good. It’s called ‘Commando Dad - Basic Training’ by Dr Jan Maher-Jones - it basically makes changing a nappy seem manly but it’s so informative and easy to read. Luckily my scan is at 9.15 but I have to go about 30 miles to the hospital (specialises in heart conditions like mine) so I will have to be up bright and early that day!! X

I gave my oh the commando dad raw recruits as a present when I told him about our bfp. It's great!

Think i read it more than him haha

Yay for the nausea coles, ha ha! I know what you mean about it being reassuring, I’m 8+1 today, retching throughout the day without bringing anything up, I’ve been vomiting in the morning and nauseated on and off throughout the day, some days are worse then others and all I’ve been able to eat is bread, although I am pleased I’ve managed an orange and some salad today :)

Oh dear you sound like you have it a lot worse than me - then again I am weeks behind most of you as I am at the end of the month. xx

God i am so bored and sick (excuse the pun ) of crackers and spread!

Cannot wait for this trimester to be over and feel a bit more 'normal' again.

5 days until my sister in due so i have the excitement of her baby girl arriving to break up the time <3

eughhh i totally need a cleaner as well - i have ocd, which means keeping my place clean and tidy is a daily thing after work

We looked into it briefly a few months ago and got no where with it, but now we need to save every penny for our house and now baby.

Well I justified it by he was spending so much money whialt he was away Haha! I used to be slightly ocd but the kids are just so messy it's a constant battle. Definitely cheered me up Haha! I couldn't so it on a regular basis but every now and then as a treat is fine xxx

Oh yea definately, just give you as a mum a bit of a break from the boring things in running a household.

Once we are settled in a house, i am sure as hell getting a cleaner

Has anyone else found that their joints are absolute agony since being pregnant? My hip joints are killing me! Especially if I’ve been on my feet all day at work. Can’t wait to have a nice relaxing bath tonight!
