Congratulations jward and Beth! What lovely photos!

My scan is at 10:30 so nice and early so im not panicking the whole day. Having said that, here I am at 5am having already been up at least half an hour. My anxiety is taking over so much now and I’m really struggling to control it. I’m thinking this is probably normal and once I’ve had scan I should be ok.

Yes most definitely. Once you know you will be fine. I still have 2 days but we also have some positive stories here too. X

Loula, I’ve had tiredness, nausea, headaches hopefully will start easing now.

Cossie I was the same yesterday, tossing & turning up every hour I couldn’t even look at the screen I was that nervous, but then I got to see my baby and unexpectdly further along then I thought you will be fine today! xx

My stomach is churning. You know how you can sometimes get cramps in your upper abdomen and then a constant feeling of needing the loo when you get nervous about something? That’s the point I’m at. Feel like I could throw up at any second. I’m convinced I’m going to get bad news I just hope I’m wrong

I’m sure it will be like this for all of us Loula. Thank you. I really hope I can come back later with some good news! Appointment is 10:30 but Shrewsbury hospital isn’t known for being on time! Could easily be 11-11:30 before I’m seen!

I really hope it's on time. They should make allowances for 12 week scans because of holding your wee haha x

Just got to the hospital and sat in waiting room. There’s 3 other women in here so I’m not sure whether they’ll be seen before me but we’ve already made a mistake in forgetting to bring cash to pay for scan photos

Oh no doesn't it have a cash machine you can use. Ask if you can go back and pay later etc

Yeah ther was one in outpatients luckily. OH has just been to get a tenner. My anxiety is telling me to wait til after the scan to pay anyway as what happens if we pay and then get bad news? But at the same time I need to have a little faith that everything is ok in there! Time will tell.

We’ve been in the waiting room half an hour now and no one has been called through

I'd ask how long as your busting for a wee. Seems to work in most cases.
