*** April 2018 Mummies ***

Not just you, I have my scan on Thursday, bang on 12 weeks! Xx

Great scan picture Cossie :) hopefully we can start to relax a little now :) xx

I’ve relaxed so much since my Scan. Long may it continue! I’ll be booking a sexing Scan for in 4-5 weeks time and I’m soooo excited because we’ll be able to take DS along!

I’m looking forward to seeing many more scan photos and hearing about any change in due dates!

Thanks again for your support and patience as I realise I have been a rather negative nelly the last few days. Don’t what I’d do without you ladies! :hugs:

Anyone else experience sort of breathless panicky feelings at night? I remember having them with DS and they were so bad I had to have DH hold me to help me stay calm and keep my endorphins and oxytocin levels up to counteract the adrenaline and stress hormones.

Having an episode of it now but it's not as intense. All my symptoms are much milder compared to my last pregnancy.

Not here I’m afraid :/ how are you feeling this morning?

We’ve got a week or so yet before our first mummies enter tri 2 but when the time comes do you guys want me to set it up or did someone else fancy starting the tri 2 thread? Just thought I’d ask the question! I really don’t mind either way! :)

I had a 10 week scan today. It was so amazing!! The baby was moving around heaps, waving its arms and legs everywhere!

The doctor said that the growth of the baby from my scans at week 6, week 8 and now is perfectly at the rate they would expect.

I am feeling very positive about it now. Bring on Tri 2!!

Afternoon ladies. Not posted for a while as I have been really struggling. Currently off work due to constant nausea and sickness. Coupled with that I am tired all the time and yet hardly sleeping at night!

Great to see all you scans beginning to pop up. I went for a private scan a couple of weeks ago and I was 8 weeks exactly. Was nice to see a little heartbeat. After this pregnancy this is definitely the last!

Better, thank you, but something woke DS at about 1am. He settled ok after a nappy change but I was up again for the toilet at 3am as well.

Tired and my back muscles are very sore but otherwise quite good.

Hi, I'm new to the forum, due 2nd April with my first baby. It wasn't a planned pregnancy but we're so excited now. Had a 12 week scan last Friday which was amazing!

I still haven't told work, I'm hoping to wait until about 16 weeks but I've really struggled with tiredness and nausea, people say it gets better after the first trimester but im 13 weeks 3 days now and if anything mine has got worse! Has anyone else had that? I've got a cold at the moment which probably isn't helping

I only started to feel much better after 16 weeks last time.

Much milder this time thankfully.

Though right now I ache all around my ribs, like pulled muscles. It hurts to take a full deep breath.

Welcome FTM and congratulations!

I have woken up with the mother of all headaches this morning :( got a horrible feeling it’s going to turn into a migraine. A huge issue for me is that working in a kids club we do breakfast club meaning I have to be at working in the next 20 mins and they can rarely find last minute cover for mornings as there’s rarely anyone up :( anyone else suffering with headaches?

I feel your pain all day every day I suffer with either migraine type headaches or worse my intracranial hypertension headaches, waiting on my next lumbar puncture to hopefully give me some relief x could you take some co-codamol for when you do get a bad head? I'm on them now on an as and when needed basis as it's the strongest I'm allowed and usually I'd be on like 6+ medications a day so they needed to have a milder alternative! Hope you get some relief soon x

I’m a little relieved it’s not just me I’m not going to lie! But I can’t take co codamol as I’m allergic to codeine :( just paracetamol for me unfortunately! I think I’m lucky mine aren’t every day but when they do come they’re really bad. Hoping they don’t last too long!

How is everyone today? What time is it your scan Loula?

Ok, so I’m getting a bit ahead of myself but I’m too excited and too impatient  I’m going to set up the tri 2 thread at some point today just so it’s there and ready to go as we each hit 14 weeks! I was thinking to have our names on the first post again with our official due dates and what team we are on (yellow, pink or blue) - what do you think?

Hiya sorry had my scan at 940 and no waiting which I was amazed at. OH nearly missed it as car park was horrendous.
Everything was absolutely fine. I have one stubborn baby who was lying on their tummy all the way through the scan . They put me at 12+5 so due date of 7th April. Already booked in for my 20 week scan in November x

I agony again today and my beloved son booted be in the stomach this morning, the ward I wasn't on said to call if any prolonged bouts of pain, and this was bad all weekend and Monday and eased Tuesday and Wednesday but now back to crippling pains  do you thinking it'd be best to call the ward or my gp

Aww yay loula am so glad all went well even though baby was being stubborn X

Thats great loula. You can start to relax and enjoy it now! You must be so relieved x
