So Im looking at using Preseed this month as I've not tried it yet.....anyone got anything they use or have used whether old wives tales or superstitions or weird science?
Please be brave and comment anything whatsoever that has helped or you believe will help you conceive........

Thanks :)

Soy!! I swear by it, got preg 3 times using it. This on being the third, had a twin pregnancy in November on it & chem in oct. :)
Also 1000mg vitamin C, 1000mg omega 3. Hubby was on the same with tesco ttc vitamins and extra folic acid.

Multi-vitamins.. funny coincidence that I conceived each time I went from folic acid alone to multivitamins!

My last ended in miscarriage and that was the first time I ever used pre-seed so I would have reservations about usImg that again. There were serious issues with development which made we wonder if a bad sperm had got through! Just my personal opinion on it and I'm sure others have had success xxxx

So where did you get yours from peanut butter and how did you take them? My cycle is quite regular is that right or is it for irregular only? Xx

High dose folic acid and baby asprin for me. Found out multivitamin are bad for me as I javelin a genetic condition and there has been unproven claims that my condition + bits with iron in causes mc but my condition i's a hereditary thing x so I'm probably different to the norm

Tesco own I used, but they're all the same I think. I done from cd3-7 7 started at 60 60, 80,80, 100. No my cycles were regular and didn't affect them. I still oved at normal time to. It just helps the egg mature and become stronger, but can make you realise more than one egg to. You should have a Google of it first. I wouldn't take it every month either (it does stay in your systems apparently) maybe 2 on 2 off xx

Seems to be two camps on soy use in ttc. Some say it has a negative impact on fertility and others swear by it. I would be cautious about it.The positive benefit seems to be that it works in a similar way to clomid, although i havent read enough about it to say either way, bt if you're resorting to soy, maybe you should go to the gp and get some clomid, to help you ovulate each month. Sorry i cant give you any advice on preseed, i hope it helps. Good luck! I hope this month is the one! Xo

If it was that easy to get clomid I think everyone would be taking it lol. X

I am reluctant to take soy becaue I heard that the estrogen can affect your hormones. I had no idea it could actually help.

Yes, it gives you a bigger surge, making you gave stronger eggs or more than 1 come out. You should have a google of it. I wasn't keen at first & did alot of research on it. I wouldn't take it if you don't trust it though, do whatever is right for you. There's some women on here who took it and helped and some it didn't. Just depends on your body.

Sorry Peanut butter, I really have no idea how difficult it can be. I've seen a lot of women on here comment that they are using it, so didn't realise how hard maybe they have fought to be put on it. All the best x

Thanks PeanutButter. I think I was not keen originally as I had too much estrogen due to being overweight so didn't want more...now that's not an issue might be worth trying.

For me, I really do think it helped that I changed my diet up a bit a couple of months before I got pregnant (ate fruit every day and tried to fit in some veg when I could) and I started to exercise more (just walking) but I really do think it helped. I know those are really boring things though, sorry! Good luck lovely :)

I started eating much healthier (Slimming world) in January. I'm hoping this works for me too. It's already done wonders for my cycle.

I was also taking high dose of vitamin C and eating lots of Kiwis (Id heard some random wives tales about them helping! - Maybe they did??)

xx Good luck

Well I've got a few things to be going on with, my kiwi fruits are ripe so can have a couple now, gona have a shot at the soy (nothing to lose) I eat really healthily, exercise and take pre conception vits, have started taking aspirin....only 23 days till testing!!!! Let's hope oh is feeling especially energetic this month xx

What vitamins would you all suggest? In all these years I've only ever used plain Folic acid.

Pregnacare, seven seas, Superdrug own there's loads out there, even pound land do a dissolvable fizzer called 'care for mum' xx
