...........bloody tractor!!

Argggghhhhhh man!!

I am furious coz DH has kept me awake the last two nights with his damn snoring!

Hes lost a fair bit of weight since June and that helped loads but jeeeez when he gets going its still horrendous and Im wrecked, in a BAD MOOD, and grumpy!

Im not sleeping the best due to having SPD anyway, so Ive ended up downstairs with laptop as Im wide a bloody wake although feel I could sleep for a week!

Hes no bother most of the time but every now and then has a burst of bad snoring and it drives me nuts...almost to the point where Im about to go out and dig up the patio!! lol

Weve tried all the remedies, old wives tale suggestions, Drs etc...I wear ear plugs most nights and hes still waking me up!

So instead of going Christmas shopping today Im going to be going back to bed and catching up on some sleep!! Not amused!!

xxx

Yep i sleep wth a tractor although i have kept him awake tonight! He is at it now i keep telling him to shut up but he says he is not asleep i suppose i need to let him sleep in case i go into labour anytime soon x

Oh no, I saw on fb your hourly updates, lol!

My hubby doesnt snore, thankfully, did sleep with someone who had sleep apnia (?), and it was horrific, so I feel your pain!
My hubby still infuriates me though, coz he could sleep through a riot! He doesnt wake up for anything, and im always up at the slightest movement, especially as the dog sleeps in our room.
Ive already told him, the baby monitor is coming with headphones, that will be plugged into his ears, so its not me getting up app the time, lol!
x

Ha kelly isnt it sooo annoying!!! Ahh make sure you give him good hard digs in the ribs so hes prepared for when you do go into labour lol!!

Oh yes Lea...Im convinced hes got Apnia but he wont go get it sorted!!! Grrrrrrrr...... Hes a nightmare when the snoring kicks off....but I cant help but forgive him now Ive had a couple of hours! lol

MEN!!!

Love the earplugs idea tho....xx

Oh no!!! OH does snore but not horrifically. I wake him up and tell him he's snoring and he switches position to try to stop. The other night I ended up kicking him though as snoring plus sleep deprivation equals a very very grumpy Helen! Lol x

Hope it gets better and you manage to get some sleep x

I slept in the spare room last night cos of hubbys snoring/talking! I wasn't nice to him because it was alcohol induced! To top it off I had to pee all tge time and the dogs wanted out!! Grrrr

I completely feel for you, I hate it :wall2: OH's is unbearable!!! xx

I sleep tak tho so i cant shout at mark too much! I just say shut up he stops for a bit then i boothim if im really tired!

:X According to my husband, *I* have turned into a tractor since becoming pregnant. At least I'm sleeping ok...

Yes my OH is a nightmare, as horrible as it sounds in a way lately it is a good thing that he is only home on weekends coz as tired as i am i think i would smother him!

Hes a bit of a freak really bless him, he also kind of chatters his teeth together, like a snapping noise as if he is trying to bite something! This is also inbetween the slobbering and dribbling. I cant say much coz im a dribbler, the amount of times i have to wash the sheets between the two of us coz of the white marks dribbling leaves is unbelievable! Haha xxx

Lol this post made me giggle :) and made me feel so lucky!! Poor DH though has to put up with my fidgeting and dribbling and sleep-muttering... :oooo:

I heard years ago about stitching a cotton reel (or anything similarly uncomfortable) to the back of his t-shirt can help (makes them roll over onto their sides or front). Dont know anyone who's actually tried and tested it though...
Xx

i have a snorer too a quick hit to the ribs usually works haha
nah its ok if i get to go sleep before him as ive grown use to it but i cant get to sleep once he is snoring

This couldn't be more relevant to me right now. Am sitting downstairs and can hear OH already revving up the snores. Infuriating! Then he gets annoyed at me for waking him up!

My OH doesn't snore much, but he grinds his teeth which is just as loud and unbearable!

And, as if that's not bad enough, I'm in a block of flats and I can hear the guy DOWNSTAIRS snoring!!!!! His poor wife sleeps in a separate room - I think she'd need to be in a separate street, the poor woman!

Ha ha Heulyn, I can hear my downstairs neighbour too - I feel so sorry for his poor wife - although they do both get trashed every night so maybe she has knocked herself out!

My ex was the world's worst snorer - it was so bad, it actually really got me down - especially as he didn't give a hoot about how it affected me and wouldn't seek help. If I gave him a shove or a prod to wake him up he would get soooo cross with me - said that I was already awake so was being selfish by waking him up too!! Needless to say I am very glad he didn't end up being the man I married! Once him and a mate got drunk and both slept on the sofa's in the living room - i got up to find my mate asleep on the lino floor in the kitchen with his head in the cat bowl, such was his attempt to escape the snoring - he couldn't believe how bad it was!!

Now I have my dream partner, who never snores, gives me loads of room in bed and doesn't hog the duvet - now he is the man I am gonna marry!!!

I feel for you, I really do, lack of sleep can really wear you down, and if he won't do anything about it it just makes it even harder!! xxx

Ha ladies Im so glad Im not the only one who has a steam train for a husband! lol Ahh hes been driving me crazy the last couple of weeks! We watched an animated film last week (cant remeber the name) anyway it has possoms in it and during the night hes been talking about bloody possoms in his sleep! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr...think he will be banished to the spare room too if he doesnt stop it I NEED SLEEP! lol xx

OMG Wilma I just did a double take at your sig, when did you get so far along!
Wowweee! I'm so pleased you know! :yay:

Hey H ah thank you!!! ....lol ha I know i sometimes have to pinch myself to see if its all real!! Cant wait too and cant believe in heading for tri 3 next week OMG! xxx

Mine seems to make noises breathing out rather than when inhaling..... Lots of 'held breath'/hissy noises.... Thankfully he kinda stops and doesn't actually wake up if I push or poke him lol.
