I think with bleeding varies so much from person to person and preg to preg. This time mine is lighter but more often, with my son was more gushes every now and then.

Ooooh midwife how exciting! Look forward to hearing how it goes, it's impossible not to feel to happy when hear your story so I'm sure they will be thrilled for you.

Nothing booked yet I was going to talk to them a little more about it tomorrow .. We'll pay for an early one in about 2 weeks (I'll be closer to 7 weeks then) .. I think it will just be really good to see and know it's really real!!

I'm sure some bleeding is normal though?
I haven't even had a single spot!! and I expected at least implantation bleeding but I guess not everyone gets that.

It's so awesome to see it on a digi right?


I have my first midwife appointment tomorrow which seems sooo early! but when I called my doctors they picked when I would be seen so I don't know! I'm kind of glad because I've got a mind full of questions and worries for them already!

Only 30% of women get implantation bleeding, so of course...we all think we should get it and worry when we don't despite the odds being against it

Yes! It was part of the reason I thought for sure I wasn't pregnant and wasn't even thinking about testing!
Then I did a sneaky opk that was dark and I thought hmmm maybe just maybe!
Lol only took me until CD34 to test!

It's a week tomorrow that I got my bfp! It's gone both fast and slow!!

Its hard because we haven't told anybody about the pregnancy which is definitely best because if we do lose this baby then we dont have to explain to anybody but at the same time you cant ask for any advice & i`am going for my scan alone tomorrow because my hubby needs to look after our son (He`s only 7 months) So i wouldn't want to take him into the early pregnancy unit for other peoples sake as thats just not fair for people receiving bad news. I've prepared myself for the worst but i`am hoping for the best if that makes any sense ?

The funny thing is with my other pregnancy's i never experienced implantation bleeding but with this pregnancy i did & now i`am getting this spotting/Bleeding it might just be a coincidence i have absolutely no idea what could be causing this, Maybe my body just isn't ready for another pregnancy.

Tomorrow i would just like some answers i will accept the outcome as i have no choice other than to face this head on.

Positive to the end despite the red blood thats started again this evening ... I've got everything crossed X

What a very selfless decision to make to leave your baby at home when it means you'll be alone. You won't be though...we're all going to be there with you in thought.


I know so many women who have bled through early pregnancy...a friend had two normal periods in her first pregnancy and third, nothing in the second.

Good luck for scan loopylou, I've been having very light bleeding, not sure if it's anything to worry about, with my son I bleed on and off trough 1st tri. I've had to fill in midwife form at doctors and wrote about it so not sure if they will ring to ask me about it or not.

In other news my hubby is out at football and I had sudden urge to use all the tests I have

LOL Summertime I did the same and used almost all the tests we had in the house. I have one or two cheapies left which I am keeping until closer to my 12 week scan.

My appointment was over pretty fast! She gave me some forms to start filling in and some leaflets to look at. Took my weight, height and blood pressure. Another appointment for next week to go over the forms I've filled in and fill in any blanks. Shes sent away the form for a dating scan appointment. Hubby did come in the room too and he cheekily asked can we get a 6 week scan lol. she said its usually only for those with pain or bleeding but she can try. I wouldn't want to put them out or take away an appointment from someone who needs it though. I'll pay for a private one if the money bothers him that much. lol men can be so tight sometimes.

Surprised to be seeing her again in a week! Everything still feels too early!


Came home to my new look order and found the trousers don't fit even though I ordered the next size up from what I'd normally buy ughh. I literally only have 1 pair that fits comfortably right now.. my bloat is horrible!! Pj bottoms it is

Hello all

Its good news !!!

The Sonographer was great, She asked me a few questions before the scan & she found my little bean immediately. I was able to have it through my belly too so no need for the vaginal scan which i was pleased about. I have a viable pregnancy & i saw the heartbeat flickering on the screen. She also dated me 6 weeks & 6 days so just one day out from my own dates so all is looking good, I did ask if she was able to see where the bleeding is coming from & all she could see on the scan was some old blood there was nothing else which she said should dry up & stop. I've got a card now so if i need to go back with any more concerns i can, I`am feeling so much better now but will take it day by day as i dont want to take anything for granted, But right now me & little bean are really good I`am still in the club yay !!!!!! X

I did take a deep breath when the sonographer first started talking just so i could control myself, I just felt so relived, It was really hard going into that scan alone not knowing what to expect, So so happy X
