How are all you girls doing? Since last posting my boobs have become quite tender and I've had a nosebleed. Also had a few moments where I've felt sick. Will be 6 weeks Saturday. The first trimester goes sooo slowly!xx

That sounds just as it should do.

Pretty sure I'm out as had a positive opk Tuesday but negative Wednesday. I checked based on ewcm showing up on Sunday so made sure we dtd Monday night before oh went away with work.

So, unless by some miracle, I'm still pregnant and just have low hcg...i'm out.

Haha! Know what you mean. I've got a 23 month old so finding this pregnancy much harder. I've started feeling sick earlier than my first pregnancy. Not a good day today. Been feeling sick a lot! Must remember to carry biscuits around with me to help the sicky feeling...any excuse for a biscuit hehe xx

Well, looking on the positive side, I listened to my body and dtd so at least in with a chance this month. Also, if I catch and lose again, I can, at 38, quickly get referred for testing but hopefully that won't be needed.

First pregnancy went to 14 weeks and the only reason it failed was because I was on the injection at the time and doctors said it affected the foetal development. I knew at my 12vweek scan, I saw the woman's face, she went to get a consultant and I refused to look at the screen. The said the baby looked normal to the untrained eye and I could look/get a printout but I was alone, my partner then couldn't give a shit...he was of the opinion that I'd effed up and so in a way, I was relieved not to have a baby by him. His refusal to join me at my 16yr old cousins funeral a few weeks later was the final nail in that coffin.

So, sorry for waffling...I know I can carry a pregnancy which is good to keep in my mind. I just want to stay positive. A very good friend gave up after 12 years of failures and many failed IVF cycles. She's moved on so well, she gives me a sense of comfort in the ability to accept it id it doesn't ever happen so I think that keeps my head in a fairly good place emotionally speaking.

As for obsessing over every little feeling...that won't change, lol

My ex showed his true colours when we lost ours 9 years ago. He wanted me to have an abortion and I had agreed so why would I be absolutely devastated when I miscarried... He just didn't get it at all!

My DH is a much better person. He's already kissing my belly and he's got an app on his phone so he knows how far along WE are... which is so comforting

March seems a little quiet!

I should be joining this thread, little scared to, after so long ttc it's hard to believe it's real. Ill feel more convinced after an early scan! But think I should wait at least 2 weeks yet!
My cycles haven't been perfect after all my treatments so I'm not even sure my dates would be correct but from last period it works out as 5 weeks 3 days. We'll see!

Seeing the midwife in 2 days! Think that's gonna make it feel more real to!

Yes to my surprise at the scan last Thursday she said I was at least 7 weeks, at the most 8!! I was thinking more like 11 or 12 so I was about a month out! It looks like I actually skipped a period and we caught the egg at the next cycle, crazy! My last period was 24th April and going by that I should be 12 weeks but scan showed baby was only about 1cm and the yolk sac was still visable, so only 7 weeks or thereabouts. We got to see and hear the heartbeat though .
Due date they gave me is 28th February.

If you have long cycles they should take this into consideration and wont go by your last period. Congrats again! Wishing us both a healthy pregnancy. xx

Congratulations everyone. Know what you mean about not wanting to join too early. It's such a worry this first trimester. I'm only 6 weeks so still another 6 to go before a scan. Have felt quite sick the last week but tether today not really so then I worry. Got to think what will be, will be. Nothing I can do to change anything.x

So true! And exactly why I need to stop testing! No matter how many times I check for those lines.. if something was going to happen it would anyway!

I have not had many symptoms yet either. Have felt tired, a bit queasy and some twinges here and there on some of the days but that's it really. Then the rest of the days I've just felt 100% fine and start to wonder if everything is okay still! My mum told me when she was pregnant with her first she didn't get morning sickness at all so hoping I'll be that lucky

Also, I've kind of gone off sweet things! Which is very unlike me, usually a sucker for some chocolate! But not bothered at all! Hubby picked up some of my fave last weds but it's still in the fridge!
And and another (slightly weird? Lol) the thought of cheese makes me feel sick!

I'm the same Millie no idea on dates as my cycles been long and irregular, according to last period date I'm 5 weeks today - is that what midwife will use to date before scan?

It's so hard not to get carried away, been googling maternity wear in my lunch break! Off to Shop after work to get a CB digi but will try not take until later in the week.

July thread was quiet but been few BFPs last couple of days.
