hope everyone is well, had a slight craving for pick and mix yesterday sent the other half out ate 5 and didnt fancy them anymore haha!

ive not really had cravings, ive just had nausea where if people even mention food i wanna hurl! xx

Had my early scan this morning- measuring 6w 5 days so due date approx 28th June. I know there's an awfully long way to go, but such a relief to see a bean and a good heartbeat. They are scanning me every 2 weeks for the time being. Xx

Hi Bythesea - i was scanned every 2 weeks for 3 scans then i got the all clear sign off its such a nerve wrecking time the appointments but so nice to see your little bean, but the relief when they say they dont wanna see you again is such a big weight off your shoulders knowing everything is alright

Bythesea, I was at Torbay this morning having more bloods done, between half 9 and 10, lol, could have been sat opposite each other at the epu! X

Congratulations to all June mummies!! Based on the NHS due date calculated I'm 6 weeks and 2 days and due 25th June.

I have my midwife app on 1st Dec and scan on 12th Dec...so at 10 and 12 weeks respectively.

I work in a school and my scan is booked for our last week of term...its sooo busy and I'm already having to lie to my manager about my midwife app.

Have any of you told your manager earlier than you would have liked just to save the lies?!

I really wanted to wait until I'd seen a healthy baby on that scan but I just don't know now

I had to tell my boss right away, as I needed to fly to Mexico for a meeting this month and I can't now because of the Zika virus. I had to tell her before she bought me plane tickets and booked a hotel for me. I felt a bit bad about telling my boss before my family, but she was very discreet and didn't bring it up again until I did.

The cat is pretty much out of the bag. People have asked me about my bump in work and there is no point in lying over it. Felt like we had to tell family, since colleagues knew, but it all went very fast and not at all how I had planned it. Somehow friends and colleagues now know and I can't get a hold of my Dad who lives in Germany to tell him. And my Grandma who lives in between the in laws and the in laws best friends doesn't know either, because she is looking after her I'll brother and is always out when I call around. Ugh. Not how I imagined it.

Aw, must have just missed you!

I'm not bad, thanks for asking - my hcg levels are finally negative (well, they were 2 today!). However, there appears to still be something in my right tube, so going to be scanned under the gyne dept next month. Couldn't just go smoothly could it! But I'm getting there, wish I was still in this part of the forum, but it just wasn't meant to be. If there is any silver lining to this horrific dark cloud, it's that I will be scanned at 6 weeks if I fall pregnant again...not really on my agenda at the mo though.

Meh. These things never do. That's a good sign that hcg levels are back to 0 again though. Hopefully it's a just a cyst or something that's been caused by the pregnancy Hun. I had to be referred to gynae after my 3rd miscarriage which was a blighted ovum that they needed to surgically remove, as they thought they saw something on my cervix but turned out to be nothing. They seem to be quite thorough there.
Big hugs-you'll be ready to think about it again soon Hun, give your body a couple of months to recover then you might feel ready again. Xxxx

I have had already the first scan (private) at 8w 3 days and saw a little heartbeat. Fist midwife appointment went well and 12 weeks scan scheduled for 21.11. Can't wait until then

I have just joined this forum.
Can I please join you all? I'm 9 weeks 2 days pregnant and due on 12th June.

I had a scan today and all is well. Was so so happy as had a miscarriage in April this year at 8 weeks also 2 weeks ago at my first scan scan I had bleeding around the babies sac but this now seems to have resolved itself thankfully

Hope everyone is ok. I have bad nausea and feel sick every day. Also exhausted and weeing lots ! Luckily I work from home which helps when I feel rough.

I am also mummy to my 9 year old daughter who doesn't know about baby yet - she's gonna be so excited ! Can't wait to tell her but waiting until the 12 weeks scan.

Lea- I'm so sorry to hear your news about the ectopic. I had one 11 years ago before my daughter was born and remember feeling so hurt and confused. Sending you some hugs and hope you are ok.

Lea, I am so sorry about this whole process being so difficult. You would just want it to be over and done with and not go back for more scans. I hope you find closure soon.
It's my 12 weeks scan next Friday. I posted in different threats about a bleed this week. Super scary and worrying, but I will be OK with either possible outcome at our scan next week. I just want to know already!
I don't know why, but I am putting off telling my Dad! With the last pregnancy he was the first one to know and now he is already the last. He lives in Germany, so I really just need to make a call and I know at least this time he is going to be happy for me, but something is holding me back...

im still terrified i might lose mine even tho ive seen it and had the sign off from the EPU to say everything is normal. im still terrified i darent buy anything or even get excited. this is my first so every twinge i get i worry x

Miasmum - sorry to hear you had a bit of bleeding, hoping everything will be ok for you. When I had an early scan at 7 weeks (due to previous MC and Ectopic) I had bleeding around the babies sac, the lady told me this isn't anything to worry about but to take it easy and could come away as a light period. Maybe that's what is happening and all will be fine. It's a good sign the bleeding has stopped. Have you had any previous scans?

Leigh - I know exactly how you feel. Even though I had a scan on weds and everything was ok I still keep thinking something bad could happen. I am analysing my symptoms and twinges constantly. Last night I dreamt that I had woken up in a pool of blood and my boobs had stopped hurting! - it really scared me! Glad it was just a dream but I'm guessing I'm just paranoid.

I'm still feeling very sick - more so in the evenings and night. How about everyone else?

I had a bleed at 7 weeks and went for a scan and they saw some blood and explained to me that it could come off in the next couple of days, but it's now 3 weeks later, so I don't know if that's it.
I am not going for a scan sooner than next Friday. Like you ladies have said, even though you are reassured during the scan, by the time you get home you are worried again. I'll just wait and see what happens next Friday. I won't relax until I am out of the first trimester either way.
My sickness has finally eased off. I havent even thrown up yet, just felt like it a lot. And I have found my appetite again. My only symptoms lately are cramps and back ache.

my symptoms are my boobs! they are killing me! ive had extreme nausea to the point where i want to be sick but i havent but it seems to be easing, my thing at the minute is food! im starving ill make my meal then struggle to eat it! just pick at it, to the point where i cant eat anymore and i feel sick if i do so but i know what i have eaten is a minimal amount!

im just counting down to seeing the midwife on Monday and hopefully get my 12 week scan date!

I'm feeling sick most of the day too, and exhausted. That that has hit me hard. Its like feeling hungover every day!! Struggling to fit into my clothes now as well as I'm so bloated, especially by the end of the day!
Midwife appointment next week, scans every 2 weeks due to the rm's.
