Hi everyone!

Exciting that more people have had/about to have scans still don't feel like a proper pregnant person yet! Went to pregnancy Pilates last night, nice to meet others but they were much further along! Can't believe we'll be getting bumps like that, eek!

One weird thing I've been getting on and off - do any of you feel like you're sometimes pulling a new muscle right in your lower stomach when you cough?? I really don't like it as feels like I'm pulling something I shouldn't and not had this before. Felt it once when I stood up from the floor aswell. Makes me scared to cough in case it pulls again!

Hey everyone. Hope you are all well. Exciting that most of us have had our scans or happening very soon.
My scan was supposed to be on Tuesday 6th however they had a cancellation and I managed to get one on Tuesday just gone (29th). Everything is fine They changed my due date to 10th June.

Am so happy to have finally got to this point after our miscarriage earlier this year. We have booked a private scan on xmas eve to find out if we are having blue or pink. Will be a nice surprise for everyone on xmas day.

Hope everyone is ok. My sickness and general tiredness seems to be easing. It's funny as I said to my OH that some days I don't feel pregnant. The symptoms were reassuring. I have started getting bump though.

Selly - I get all kinds of twinges, pulls etc in my lower tummy. sometimes they take me by surprise. I'm guessing just everything stretching.

Are you going to announce it on xmas day?
We decided that we are going to put either blue or pink confetti in the xmas crackers for everyone to pull at the same time before dinner

ive bought gender scratch cards to put in peoples christmas cards

i just hope the monkey doesnt have its legs crossed or ill be so disappointed

ahh we already have 2 girls between us so OH would like a boy - I don't mind either way but I'm thinking girl again.

The scratch cards is a great idea. I've never heard of them.

I have been told to drink a fizzy drink and eat something sweet an hour before the scan so that baby is quite active and plays ball

yea i have the list of what to do so im gunna stick to it! haha

the oh has a girl and lost a son at 1 day old so he is hoping for a boy too, as long as they are healthy we will be happy. its our first child together and my first child.

scratchcards are just cheap ones off amazon think they were like 2 quid, bought girl and boy ones as i dont know what my alien is yet!

do you feel different this pregnancy to when you had your little girl? or similar experience

yeah same here our first baby together. We both have a girl each, my daughter is 9 and OH daughter is 11 so as you can imagine they are both very excited about the baby !!
Sorry to hear about your OH's little boy

Not really any different apart from I haven't been as sick this time around and my bump looks huge considering I'm only 13 weeks tomorrow!

It's strange as I already feel a strong bond with the baby and very protective. I'm always rubbing my belly! lol

I'm constantly rubbing my little tum at the minute. I've not been sick either with this one but it's my first so don't know how I am with being pregnant.

We told his little girl and she was over the moon the ex said she was heartbroken. She's never happy for anyone.

Just told the kids and parents!! Everyone except my 15 year old lad is very excited for us!! Can't believe I'm now in tri 2.
How is everyone else? Anyone have scans this week?

I'm getting my energy back now which is very handy this time of year!

I have a scan at 11am and I'm so nervous and can't sleep! I'm 13 weeks today but have had so many sickness bugs, coughs and generally feel so unwell I just keep thinking the worst. I just can't wait to see baby now
