I haven't told anybody yet either, only my OH of course.

We are planning on announcing it at Christmas xxx

We were thinking of doing the same but are considering telling our parents and siblings before, maybe early Dec. Got my first midwife appointment next week (they like to see people between 6 and 8 weeks in my area) so will definitely wait until after then. Totally paranoid that something will go wrong so hoping for some reassurance first

Aurora : I have a tilted uterus and they saw bubs fine through my abdomen at 10 and 13 weeks. Your uterus comes forward around 9-11 weeks x

Was told with my first baby that mine is a severe tilt. They couldn't get a clear view of him at 14 weeks. Really hope they can see more with this one

I will be 7 weeks 3 days when i see my midwife.

It could have been the way he was lying too. My 10 week wasn't very clear but the 13 week was.

Yeah I get paranoid too, I want to get nearer the end of the 1st trimester before I tell anyone, I'll be 12 weeks on the 27th Dec so thought it'll be lovely telling everyone at Christmas. I have some great ideas on how I'm going to tell them!

It's such a lovely time of year to share the news how are you planning on telling people if you don't mind me asking?

I have a couple of ideas that I've seen on the internet, as this will be the first grandchild on my OHs side I'm going to do a little 'grandparent starter kit' gift box with basic stuff like dummy, bottle, baby grow etc with a little notes. Also thought about making a cracker and putting little baby related things in it (jelly babies? lol!) and a dummy with a ribbon tied around it and a note attached.

Haven't decided 100% but saw these ideas online and thought they were cute. I definitely want to tell them in a unique way xx

Hi ladies, I've had bleeding today. On top of my rubbish hcg level yesterday I think that's it for me. If a miracle happens I'll be back but otherwise wishing all of you all the best for a happy and healthy remainder of your pregnancies.

I've heard a few different things re the 1st midwife appointment some people have said 8 weeks some said 10 weeks - I guess it depends on the procedure in your area?

How many weeks will you be at your appointment Aurora? xx

Kelly we are both due the 11th do you have many symptoms yet, I am definitely more tired other than that my only symptoms are lots of burping & I'm very bloated plus I'm definitely peeing more.

I wish I knew everything was ok, I'm booked for a 7w +1day scan on Wed 23rd Nov.

Nope, no symptoms yet! I don't feel pregnant at all..

I'm very bloated too though and I think I may be peeing more too I'm not sure! I drink a lot so it's hard to tell lol

It's good you have an early scan, is that a private one or are they keeping an eye on you?

I won't have my 1st one until after christmas I don't think... was thinking of paying for a private one but so expensive here.

I have my midwife appointment on the 21st Nov so hoping they might squeeze scan in just before!!

I'm so sorry Syd, keeping everything crossed that it may just be normal bleeding and not necessarily mean anything is wrong, I had quite a lot of bleeding at 5 weeks pregnant with my son who's now 4 so it can be normal sometimes. Got everything crossed for you xxx

Keelygracey, I've been peeing lots more!! Doc has asked for a sample to check for uti just in case... Not in any pain or feeling poorly tho, so hopefully it's just the hormones lol.

Due on the 11th too. Slightly sore boobs and stomach is tightening when feeling nauseous, I've not had that in my previous pregnancies x
