Thank you for that Aurora, that's good to know. I find it so strange that it's the digi that's positive and the non-digi that's basically negative.

FX'd Syd, when will you get your blood results?

I feel so bloated today, spent ages this morning trying to find some trousers that were at least semi-comfortable!!

xx

The doctor said he'll call me tonight thank goodness.

I had the same thing, got a BFP one day on a FRER then a stark white BFN the next day on a Boots both with FMU. FX it's just due to different test sensitivity and differently concentrated urine xx

So my result was 8, he said it should be between 9 and something (can't remember what). I have to go back in 48 hrs for a repeat but it could go either way at this stage so still in limbo.

So sorry about the chemical elspeth :( xx

I have good news and bad news, had my scan. Heart beat is there, I'm measuring at 5+5 (which I new). But I was pregnant with TWINS, the one baby has died, and that's why my progesterone dropped, because there's no longer 2 babies. Dr has put me on progesterone pessaries to help it go back up. She said it explains why my hcg hasn't risen much to. I'm so happy that the other one is still going and holding on though! Xx

A bit nervous to join you guys on this post, however I've been reading it for the past week... I believe I'm around 5+5, I had my bfp on 28th October, and my lmp was 29th September. Have a midwife appt booked but can't physically wait any longer wondering if everything is ok/normal etc, so going to the doctor today to make a start on maybe getting blood tests and booking a scan (I hope!!). Anyone else had similar experiences?

Hey Ab,

I also have my midwife appointment booked for late November but have a routine doctor's appointment today too - this is my first so feel very anxious about everything atm, hoping the doc will put me at ease a little bit! xxx

Hello again KeelyGracey,

Hope everything is going well for you! Glad I'm in the same boat as others! My midwife appt has been moved to 23rd November, so now got to wait even longer than originally planned (admittedly only 2 days but I'm eager to get going!! Haha).
What sort of things are you expecting from your docs appt?

I've previously been seen by a doctor twice with pains, but one just said "if you're miscarrying then there's nothing I can do about it" which I understand, but would've been nice for him to have at least a couple of words of reassurance! So now I can't really feel anything, I'm back to worrying!

I haven't felt anything.. a few little twinges when I've stood up or got out the car but other then that nothing. I've had no symptoms what so ever lol.. I think it's pretty normal to not feel much at this stage but hopefully the doctor will reassure me of that!

xx

Is anyone planning to get the Harmony test/ Nipt.
I've been looking into it and i might go for it.
Saw a doctor this morning and he said i was old and should definatly consider the test. Wont be see that cheeky sod again. I'm only 30!

:o old!!!! I'M the same age they haven't said anything to me lol maybe they just want money from you lol

Do you ladies know what size a 5+5 baby should be? x

Lol! I thought those tests were for people 40+ or had problems.. xx

If your doctor thinks your old at 30 I dread to think what he'd call me at 44!!

Myself and my DH have discussed the Harmony Test, I'm going to see what my consultant recommends. Our attitude is that no matter what the results we're having the baby, I'm not sure if knowing there was a problem would let me prepare for it or just cause me months of stress. As it's a blood test of the mothers blood there is no risk at all to the baby so it could bring peace of mind.
