was wondering if there was any pregnant single mums that wanted to chat , well early mid or late doesn't really matter but i am 7 1/2 weeks would be great to talk and compare stages.

things are currently complicated with the father but he doesn't want a child right now so have decided to focus on my and my little kidney bean.

my breast have gone up almost 4 cup size which is annoying because after loosing an extreme amount of weight i through away all my larger bras every single month a was buying smaller ones now I'm pregnant and it was unplanned I'm going to have to buy more which is bit annoying i don't mind putting weight on in the breasts but will really feel down when other things start getting bigger .

anyways just wondering if anyone wanted to share their views and feelings on going this journey alone I'm not that nervous but hope i can remain a hot mum , and fun mum and outgoing active instead of turning in to a fatty who stays at home all the time with the baby really want to try and make this a positive experience.

my social life is really nothing at the moment anyway so having a kid won't really affect that as no-one invites me to anyway and don't like doing things alone , I'm hoping if I'm lucky enough to have a beautiful healthy child i will be able to do things with him or her , days out and socialise with other mums maybe .. who knows ..

I'm not single but didn't want to read and run. Congratulations! Hopefully the father may man up when the shock subsides, he may just need time :) sorry he's making it difficult though. Being a mom will help your social life for sure, and you get the excuse to go to soft play centres and places like legoland which is a bonus!!

Know what you mean about boobs and weight it's annoying but when you're in your second tri the bump looks more like a bump and less like chunk haha, and time really does fly!!

thanks for the reply much appreciated, i hope so I'm really feeling unmotivated to do anything these days and feeling sick all the time mainly at night weirdly enough . the sickness only goes away if i eat , and I'm never hungry to eat because of the sickness all my healthy go to foods are repulsive to me right no so usually just grabbing whatever i fancy which is usually high sugar which is annoying as was on a low / no sugar diet.
I've read that it all goes away in the second trimester ?

regarding the father he says he does want to be involved now , but I've spent ages thinking about the future for me and this little one now he wants to be involved it has really put me in a different headspace i don't think i can do it with him , i was positive before after letting it sink in i started to come round to the idea of being single mum i actually would prefer it that way now as it seems less complicated then with him in the picture .
i don't think he will be very good for this child and think he wants to be involved for the wrong reasons i don't want to be one of those parents who stops the other from seeing the kid but i really think he won't be good he also has mental health problems which I'm worried about.
don't know how obliged i am over him being involved and what the rules are.

thanks for the reply anyway i just want to feel better and my usual self again !

It goes away for most. I felt the same but feel absolutely fine now :) I don't think it's that you're being obliged to have him in your child's life, and if you choose not to have him on the birth certificate he will have very little rights, but in my very honest opinion, unless where violence/abuse is apparent and you/the baby are in danger, I don't think any child should ever be kept away from a parent. You don't have to be with him, but you did make a baby with him and he's a parent just as much as you are. I suggest you speak to him regarding your concerns, perhaps his mental health issues are something he can go and seek help and support for before baby comes. If he wants to be part of his/her life then he shouldn't be averse to this (as long as you discuss it in a thoughtful manner and don't make him feel small/judged) as then he may just say no to spite you.

Good luck with everything!

thanks for the advice much appreciated , you right i think i just need more time to re evaluate everything I'm going to really try with him but if towards the end we still are bad , a baby won't notice but don't know how good that will be as the child gets older.
good news is that theres plenty of time to try and make a plan.

thanks again

cant wait to find out the sex so impatient x
