Hi there,

I got my bfp yesterday at cd38 which I guess in theory makes me 5w3d from lmp. I think I generally ov a bit later on my cycle so prob actually a few days earlier than this.
We have had a long rocky road ttc and had an early mc after ivf in 2014 and now I'm really scared that something might happen again.

I am trying to be happy we have got pregnant naturally and taking each day as it comes, but it's really hard. Don't really feel any different, analysing every little cramp. Basically any hints /tips for staying sane?

firstly congratulations :) the only thing you can do is keep yourself busy id also contact your doctor and try and organise an early scan so they can work out your dates xx

Congratulations! That's amazing.

Do not google anything!!! That's my biggest peice of advice. Try and enjoy it and relax x

It's hard and you always wonder what ifs you have to think about the positives especially if you have only had one loss it doesn't increase your chances at all of you need a rant then just rant tees are so many of us on here who have gone through exactly what you are feeling roght now x x

congrats

its not easy not to worry as I have been there with a loss last september and currently 24 weeks pregnant. yeh dont google it is lethal but id agree that you try and see your gp and get to see a midwife and an early scan

My turning point was 20 weeks and i know that seems an awful long way away but things just seemed to relax as soon as i hit that point though dont get me wrong i still do have the odd wobble and think i always will now xx

I had two losses before my daughter was born. When I was pregnant with her I couldn't relax at all and wasn't eligible for an early scan unless I had three previous losses. I paid for a viability scan at 7 weeks and it was worth every penny. I'm going to do the same with this pregnancy. Other than that, I try and forget that I'm pregnant lol and just get on with life! Good luck xxx

I've started bleeding slightly today at 6w4d, so it's not looking good unfortunately
