Thanks Daisy, i'm really looking forward to getting fit and losing this baby weight finally! Camt believe my little big girl is 6 soon, time really does fly!
I cant quite believe how quickly we have turned a corner with Lexi lately. When the HV said she wanted her on 2 bottles a day by 8 months i just thought no chance...not a prayer, but in the space of a week (maybe not even that) i've managed to get Lexi to have her breakfast on a morning followed by a bottle an hour later, she will then have a nap with her dummy in and doesnt need the bottle to fall to sleep with now! She then wakes and has dinner, has a good few hours playing, then another nap with the dummy, then she has tea, followed by a bottle an hour later. Then come 7-8 she has another bottle before bed! Through the night she is waking 4-5 times but only 2 of those consist of having to feed her, the rest of the time i just managed to pop her dummy in and shes back off to sleep
Shes learnt to roll from back to front finally and now sleeps on her side! When shes on her tummy, she can make a full circle and is trying her very best to get on her hand and knees ready to crawl, she doesnt protest about being on her tummy any more either
her babbling has turned into a foreign type language, making sh and th noises in there rather than just bababa, its more sha oog thla da type noises lol! In fact sometimes it sounds as though she has said a proper word like the other day it sounded like she said thank you so i replied "your welcome" hahaha!
Yesterday we woke and i was carrying Lexi, just stepped down the first step, slipped onto my bum i tried to grab the banister but the motion just took me on my back all the way to the bottom, it was like i was sliding on black ice or something, very weird, Lexi was crying but she was ok, she kinda just surfed on my tummy i think it was more the shock of it for her, so now my bum cheek hurts like hell and my back just under my shoulder blade hurts but its not mega painful just bruising i think! Was really scary, its been my phobia for ages since having Lexi...the what if i fall down stairs with her...well i guess i can say its finally happened and hopefully wont again!
Right gonna scoot otherwise elise will be late for school!
Happy Monday people
xx
