And then there were 2 :)

Happy new year. Its good to have a boring day of doing not much as you need just to charge the batteries a bit. Hope you dont get the lurgy and you have a lovely day out with no weird old men jumping out!!
heres to a lovely year ahead and sleeping through the night.
x Daisy

thanks daisy, thankfully the day went ok altho we ended up waiting 40 mins for Elises prescription when they initially told us it would be 10 mins so was a little peeved off with that but were home now, kids dosed up and and now were all ready to get bathed and in our pjs. fingers are firmly crossed for another decent nights sleep from lexi :)
xx

lexi had another late night, don't know what's gotten into her lately, but I ended up taking her to bed at 9pm, she nodded off at around 9:30pm and woke for her first feed ar 1:30am and then again at 3:30am, 4am, 5:30am and lastly 7am when she started screaming and didn't settle until we had got down stairs and she had projectile vomited everywhere :( poor babba must of been feelin lousy, she's still quite unsettled now.

today were takin down the xmas Decs and having a right good clean up, that should be fun lol.

now to sort my poorly bubs out

xx

I didn't really take note of lexis sleeping last night, she was in with us again, I think she should be ok to go back in her own bed tonight. we went to bed about 9:15pm and that was all of us, popped her in the Moses basket and me and OH watched celeb big bro, she had dropped off by 9:40pm and didn't wake for a feed until 1:15am, then it was 3am and then after that I can't remember, probably was waking every jour and half to 2 hours. she lastly woke at 7am crying, again it was hard to settle her, she didn't want a bottle and fought me when it came to giving her medicine, I lastly tried anbesol and that calmed her so I deffo think its teeth related, poor kid. I have noticed that her gums are much harder and kind of white in appearance, hopefully we should be gettin teeth soon.

took the tree down yesterday, the room looks so bare, yet extremely tidy :)
Elise seemed to be so naughty all day yesterday too, she's going to her grannies this aft so the peace and quiet should be nice lol, that's if lexi is a good girl as well.

so the plan for today is to tackle my mahooosive ironing pile, not looking forward to that but has to be done, the joys!

xx

still haven't done the ironing, lexi has been really whingy, think she has an ear infection like her sister as everytime I've touched her ear she has screamed :( so she is dosed up, and inbetween all the crying she has finally learnt to clap :yay: I've been singing clap a dannys to her for a while now and I started singing it today and she started clapping along bless my super baby, it looks so cute, now she just won't stop clapping, deffo think its her new fad lol

xx

Sorry she's not well honey!!! Give the ironing a miss. Ha. I hate ironing! Only ever iron Meri's stuff. And even then it takes me ages to work up to doing it!!

eugh, I've only gone ans made a rod for my own back, ok so having lexi in with us while she was ill seemed a good idea at the time, pur her in her own bed last night and she screamed the place down, when I did get her to sleep she was waking every 50 mins, in the end I was so tired I pur her in the Moses basket ans she woke a total of 4 times from 1am until 8am, think I'll try the Moses basket in her cot tonight and see how that goes, deary me!

currently my living room is scattered with scrambled egg n toast, don't think lexi has even managed to eat any its all over the floor instead lol gotta love her, at least she hasn't woken screaminf this morning, gave her antibiotocs yesterday ans they seem to be doing the trick!

so let's hope I have happy well behaved kiddies today...please :)

xx

haha spammy, I just ironed lexis stuff and that was it, really couldn't be bothered!

tried the Moses basket in lexis cot last night, she was asleep when I took her up at 11:25pm so we were ok there, she woke at 1:15am and the woke another 3 times before 2:30am her then it was hourly, come 6am I lifted the Moses basket onto our room as she was waking every half hour to 40 mins, she then slept until 7:30am, feel really tired and zombified this morning as well as a bit icky, don't think it helped that me and OH had a big row last night either, all because I want to start the gym end of this month to finally lose this weight and all he kept doing was putting me down, saying I wouldn't do it and I didn't even know what I'm doing etc, if anything he has made me more determined to prove him wrong and lose this weight, end of Jan and boom, going all out to get thinner and if it means avoiding the foods I love for a while then so be it, I avoided alcohol for 9 months so I think I can manage it, I'll show him

today really is a lazy day, I did the uniform yesterday as well as the house work and such so today I can do nothing :) yippee

xx

aww honey thats a lot of sleepless nights in a row and such a lot of poorley girls. Poor you. and teeth to comming.!

Hope that you get a relaxing day of a little bit of snoozing and watching tv witht eh girls. and not to much scrambled egg on the floor to pick up .
and clapping how adoreable shes getting this little personality.
Happy sunday
x Daisy

tell me about it, and to top it off I feel sick as a dog today, had diarrhoea most the day :( not long since had a long soak in the bath n now waiting for DOI to come on, lexi is snoozing and Elise is just starting to play up 1 out of 2 ain't bad haha! the clapping is soo cute too, the laptops currently down so using my New phone to come on PF but have no idea how to put pics on that way otherwise I would post one of the pics I have of her clapping :) anyway hope u have had a lovely Sunday daisy off I go to watch DOI, I've been looking forward to this for months lol xx

well I'm getting a bit bored of talking about lexis sleeping patterns now nothing has changed, I think I'll just let you know when she sleeping better, that's probably the best way as there's no point repeating myself everyday lol so as you can probably tell another bad night for her!

not doing much today, just having a play day got all lexis toys all over the living room floor. Elise is back at school today and not been looking forward to it for a change, she's usually quite excited to go back.
still not been feeling too good myself, hope I don't get worse, I can't afford to get worse with having the kids because no 1 will help me out, I won't get to stay in bed all the time like OH has, men!!

right on I go to play with my little lady, happy monday people :)

xx

last night I decided that instead of getting lexi to sleep on the sofa when she gets fluffy around 8 that I would take her straight to bed instead and start getting her into a routine, took 20 mins to get her to sleep without CIO which made me feel happy :) OH saw to lexi up until 1:30am as he was watching tv still, I saw to her 3 times after that and OH dealt with her at 5:30am before we for up finally at 6:45am, and even though it was team work I feel more knackered this morning...I mean seriously, how's that happen lol!
OH is doing the school run today so I might get a nap in when he gets home, still got the runs and feeling babba, just want to stay in bed a day.
also put lexi back onto stage 2 formula, someone told me it won't make her feel as full so she will start eating solids better, tbh she had a fab day where eating was concerned yesterday, she doesn't usually do savoury and I usually have to trick her into eating it by offering her a spoonful of sweet every other mouthful, yesterday no trickery was involved and she ate a lot of her savoury dinner and tea, she even grabbed some of my mash and actually ate it rather than playing with it like she usually does haha, happy mummy I was, let's hope for another fab day
xx

so I stuck to my guns last night, lexi looked tired about 4:30pm so I gave her her tea and bathed her to keep her awake, managed it until 7pm when she got really whingy with tiredness so took her up to bed got her laid down bottle in mouth nearly asleep...and then she let the teat out of her mouth, sir rushed into the bottle, woke her up and made her jump so she started screaming, took her downstairs for half hour then tried again, finally got her to sleep at nearly 9 and was hoping for a decent night as she had only napped once through the day but nope, every hour or more she was waking, OH dealt with her until 2am and I did after that, bloody tired as hell, really wish she would start sleeping, there's gotta be something other than CIO I can try might have a search on the net later.

Elise is at the docs this morning to check her poorly ear out. fingers crossed its all better! OH is at his councillor this aft, good job because he's going down hill and fast he's even started self harming, obviously a cry for help otherwise he would of hid it from me rather than telling me, told him he needs to tell his councillor about it.
and that's that got today, come on lotto, give us a win :)

xx

Blimey lovely sorry to hear that oh is getting worse. When i read that he had been helping a bit with late night feeds I was thinking hooray and now not so much. How are you doing? It must be exsuasting to cope with two kids and a poorely husband. Not to mention not much money to go round!
Thats great about Lexi liking the savories more its amazing how fast they grow into little complex beings

Hope that you guys get a good week and a big windfall any day now!! Big hugs
x Daisy

thanks daisy, it really is exhausting dealing with them all, I am proud of myself though as I've started gettin lexi into some sort of decent routine, finally found a dummy she will take so been cutting her feeds down and getting her to sleep with her dummy instead, through the day she has been taking milk from a beaker with meals and has only had around 3 milk feeds during the day, she has been wolfing her solids down, even had rice today which she coped very well with. through the night were trying her with the dummy instead of feeding her every time, it works 70% of the time thankfully so were getting some where with her finally.

also OH's sister and mum are paying for us a holiday this summer, just to the caravan at ingoldmells spend included so that we can finally get that well deserved family holiday, poor Elise hasn't had a holiday yet poor kid, she's very excited bless her, I'm also really looking forward to it :) so even though OH is having a bad time of it, I have to look forward, see that light at the end of the tunnel and keep going, because we will eventually get to where we want to be, it will just take time, and little things like smiles from the kids, learning new things and holidays will just propell me on that journey...

xx

still doing well with lexi and her feeds. last night I only has to get up to her 3 times but then I did let her have a late night, she was busy running me over in her baby walker at 10pm lol
yesterday she finally managed to roll from front to back, about time haha and her babbling now sounds like she's speaking in a foreign language its really changed over night.
we went to the park yesterday as a family inc the dog lexi had her first go on the swings and loved it, took photos but I have no idea how to put them on here via tapatalk app so ill do it once the laptops sorted.

the diet starts Monday so going food shopping for all the stuff I need food wise, I'm attempting slimming world this time and OH is joining me altho were not going to meetings. also starting up swimming next week with mum, I will get my figure back...well in a sorts anyway lol

xx

Good luck with the swimming sounds fun. Cant belive Elise will be 6 in 2 weeks! where did the time go!
Hope you have a happy week lovely
x Daisy

Thanks Daisy, i'm really looking forward to getting fit and losing this baby weight finally! Camt believe my little big girl is 6 soon, time really does fly!

I cant quite believe how quickly we have turned a corner with Lexi lately. When the HV said she wanted her on 2 bottles a day by 8 months i just thought no chance...not a prayer, but in the space of a week (maybe not even that) i've managed to get Lexi to have her breakfast on a morning followed by a bottle an hour later, she will then have a nap with her dummy in and doesnt need the bottle to fall to sleep with now! She then wakes and has dinner, has a good few hours playing, then another nap with the dummy, then she has tea, followed by a bottle an hour later. Then come 7-8 she has another bottle before bed! Through the night she is waking 4-5 times but only 2 of those consist of having to feed her, the rest of the time i just managed to pop her dummy in and shes back off to sleep :)
Shes learnt to roll from back to front finally and now sleeps on her side! When shes on her tummy, she can make a full circle and is trying her very best to get on her hand and knees ready to crawl, she doesnt protest about being on her tummy any more either :D her babbling has turned into a foreign type language, making sh and th noises in there rather than just bababa, its more sha oog thla da type noises lol! In fact sometimes it sounds as though she has said a proper word like the other day it sounded like she said thank you so i replied "your welcome" hahaha!

Yesterday we woke and i was carrying Lexi, just stepped down the first step, slipped onto my bum i tried to grab the banister but the motion just took me on my back all the way to the bottom, it was like i was sliding on black ice or something, very weird, Lexi was crying but she was ok, she kinda just surfed on my tummy i think it was more the shock of it for her, so now my bum cheek hurts like hell and my back just under my shoulder blade hurts but its not mega painful just bruising i think! Was really scary, its been my phobia for ages since having Lexi...the what if i fall down stairs with her...well i guess i can say its finally happened and hopefully wont again!

Right gonna scoot otherwise elise will be late for school!

Happy Monday people :)

xx

ouch, that sounds sore and a shock, but well done you for being a mummy shield and having Lexi come away unscathed. Hope that your bruises heel soon.

And brilliant that Lexi is developing so fast now. Well done mum
x Daisy
