Well seems yesterday night was a shuuuuuge fluke as last night my little lady did shabba! downstairs she was extremely whingy again, so out came the calpol and what not, eventually she was a happy little lady and laid on the sofa chattering away until she finally fell to sleep at around 8:45pm. I took her up to bed at 9:30 and she woke as i was putting her down so i gave her a bottle and she took a small feed, she was a little unsettled fora while so had to do the whole mobile thing again and she eventually fell back to sleep on her own after the 2nd round of lullaby's and light show. She woke for a feed at 12:50am so i kinda guessed the night wasnt gonna pan out like the one before, she then woke at 2:30am, 3;05am, 5;05am and then at 6:25am so all in all pretty shabba!

Had a right mission for a baby walker yesterday, you can only order them at asda if you have a debit or credit card of which i dont, so my step mum was gonna get it, got up there yesterday and the bloody thing was out of stock, ended up going back home and reserving a dearer one at toys r us so dads gonna nip me there Saturday for it!

Elise has started with the cold or something, coughing like mad and moaning that her throat is sore...right near christmas too, just hope Lexi doesnt catch it and get bloody croup as hospital visits arent what i planed over christmas!

Today i'm doing Christmas shopping, card shopping, docs at half 10 for bloods doing...ahh what a fabby day! Then Elise finishes school at 1:30pm...then bring on chrimbo

wowzer...what a day yesterday, after a hectic morning running round for xmas gifts and cards, going to the docs for my bloods and what not, i get home to find out a cryptic fb status was about me and everyone on there was slating me...nice, all because of a status where i had a bit of a moan about Lexi not wanting to sleep when i'm totally knackered and then at the end i put "twat bag lol" to me, that was jokey, i never say things like that directly to my kids, its just something i say to either adults or on facebook when someones been a little git, i was absolutely devastated that people were in boxing each other and talking behind my back when i simple inbox to me would of been more appreciated, i felt so small and could of literally just cried all day, as if i dont feel like such a shitty mother at times as it is dealing with all the crap i deal with atm and then to get slated even more, just put me on a massive downer i in boxed the lady in question and explained my self as well as apologizing if i caused offence! I love my girls to the moon and back, any names i call them are always in jest!

Anyway, we got Elise 3 tropical fish yesterday as well as the tank and everything as a christmas present but obviously santa wouldnt be able to hide it err hum i mean bring it on his sleigh so we let her have it early and shes totally besotted with them, keeps peering into the tank and asking if she can feed them lol, we've told her its her main present as it cost quite a lot in the end what for the little pebbles to go at the bottom, the food, the fish themselves and the tank, it was worth it to see the look on her little face though!

Lexi was really whingy yesterday after we got back from town, the only time she wasnt whingy was when she was asleep. She didnt have a super sleep for me tbh she fell asleep around 9 ish and i took her up to bed at 11pm she woke for a feed at 1:15am and then at 2:20am, 4:40am and lastly 6:40am...i say lastly as she woke up and was babbling away to herself and blowing raspberries so i left her to it for half hour and then put her in bed with me to see if she would go back to sleep but no such luck! The girls are absolutely full of cold too, Lexi started with the snotty nose yesterday and Elise has had a cough and a sore throat for a few days now! I've been up all night with the bloody shits, hoping were all fit and well come Christmas day, i'd be devastated if we had to miss Christmas dinner and stuff because we were all ill especially as i've waited all year for this special day (obviously lol)

Dad nipped me through to toys R us to get Lexi's baby walker last night too, ive been very naughty and set it up as soon as i got home and plonked her in it, she looked amazed bless her, even though shes only 6 months old she looked excited and really happy :') i cant wait until Christmas day now to see their gorgeous faces

Todays plans...nipping into town with dad this aft to get my Christmas present, maybe a trip to asda to get a few bits as well as some batteries (although it may be cheaper to get them from town tbh!) and then nothing, maybe munch out or do some baking

Thanks Daisy, i think my ailment may if been food poisoning as both OH and I had diarrhoea and felt sick as dogs, felt lots better after a shopping trip out with dad for my Christmas clothes, he spent £100 on me i'm shocked at that as since he and mum split he has only ever bought us gifts that are pretty much useless (i know its the thought that counts but at 17 years old, size 10 and he buys size 16 PJ's for me, i looked like a flipping clown dear me) or spent £50 on us so to actually get £100 this year and lots of clothes and a pair of lovely boots, well i'm flabbergasted was lovely though, i now have a pair of burgandy trousers, 2 pairs of jeggings, some woolly leggings, 2 tops and a big woolly jumper as well as my flat boots with good old grips on the bottom for when we get more ice!

Lexi was still quite maungy yesterday again, shes full of snot though so i think its probably her cold thats making her so grumpy! she fell asleep last night around 8:30pm and we went to bed at 9pm, she woke instantly so i offered her a bottle and she took a tiny feed and was back off, she then woke at 11:45pm, 1:50am, 3:20am, 5:20am and lastly at 6:30am where she woke crying her eyes out, she wasnt interested in any bottle either so i brought her into my room and put her in the moses basket for 15 minutes while i prepped a bottle for downstairs, now shes chilling on the sofa letting mummy update her journal

Well, seen as though its christmas eve eve i think i might have to get the house all spick and span so that tomorrow Elise and I can bake some goodies and get this house smelling all festive and lovely were going to visit grandma today and take her cards and gifts as well as collecting cards and gifts but first i need to nip to the supermarket for a box of cards, i'm sure there was something else i needed but i've forgot...i'm sure if it was important i'll remember at some point!

My poor little half brother is ill too bless him, he looks ok in himself but he has a virus that is attacking his blood vessels which caused lots of very red sores all over his body, he had to go to hospital as with this virus it can start attacking your internal organs so they had to do some tests on him, he got the all clear, but has to keep going back for tests to check its not effecting the internal organs as well as mum dipping his wee to make sure theres no traces of blood as if it starts effecting his stomach he has to go in for a blood transfusion, apparently it can be ongoing for a year poor little mite, he's only 4...he seems to get so many ailments, high temps, tonsillitus, croup, just to name a few that he's had over the past 12 week!

It was bloody carnage in the asda yesterday, i took Lexi with me too as OH was still in bed and i didnt want to leave it too late as mum was coming for me to go visit gran. It was horrendous but i managed to get my bits and went to the self serve tills, there was still a queue but not half as bad as the rest of the tills! Anyway, i got ingredients to make a white chocolate cheesecake, never made one before and really fancied giving it a go really enjoyed making and mixing and after 6 hours i had a slice and its beaut looks really good too, i did want to make some milk chocolate snowflakes for the top but the chocolate wouldnt go runny enough to drizzle so me being the amateur baker went and accidently made ganache (sp) by adding cream thinking the cream would make the chocolate runnier so i made little choc balls with the mix instead:



went to visit gran with mum, took elise along too, always lovely to see my gran, shes funny without knowing it bless love her to bits!
Got home had some dinner and then later on i had a soak in the bath after elise of course, i cut elises hair as i'm sick of her getting food stuck in it, she really is a little tom boy at times as soon as she went to bed i wrapped her keyboard up, its massive lol! and then after all that i managed to chill out myself, Lexi wasnt as maungy last night thanks God, she was asleep by 8pm so i decided another early one was on the cards and retired at 9:15pm with her! She woke for feeds at 12:10am, 1:20am, 2:25am, 4am and lastly 5:20am, i thought she had done a number 2 and i didnt have any wipes upstairs so i brought her down and theres nothing there ffs so i could of just put her mobile on and got back into bed if i'd of known, instead i'm sat on the sofa feeling very sleepy with a moany baby beside me because shes still tired too!! typical!!! On the plus side...its only fricken Christmas Eve baby soooooo excited

me and elise are going to nip into town this morning for batteries (cannot forget them) gonna get her some new cosy pj's for tonight then pop into my friends to drop cards off and what not before getting home ready for the influx of visitors this afternoon and then its cosy time, chill out and watch some festive movies, early night for Elise ready for santa coming and a baileys or 2 for me (after all i have to drink santa's lol) and then were ready to go eeeek, i'm making myself over giddy now haha!

How exciting that christmas eve has finally arrived.
I went to aldi to get cream and a banaz for the banoffee pie , didnt get either becuase they had run out and still had to fight to park and scrum to get things! its crazy.

Sorry to hear that your half brother is not well hope that they can find the right drugs to give him soon.

A keyboard sounds fab , have you got earplugs as well for you and oh? I found that there are lots of music teaching videos on your tube, my dad learnt to play the clarinet via them! And how lovely that your dad treated you to some new togs. Heres hoping he gets rid of terrible girlfriend this chirstmas and then you can be closer.

Lexi didnt sleep too badly for me last night, she was asleep for 9:10pm and we went up to bed at 9:40pm, she didnt wake for a feed until 2:15am and then again at 4am, then she went hourly until we finally got up at 6:45am, Elise wasnt so well last night, coughing her head off which made her sick but shes woken up feeling a tad better this morning at least!

The girls have had fun opening presents, Elise was so excited, Lexi was more bothered about trying to eat the wrapping paper, shes become very maungy now though, i think all the excitement has gotten to her and made her tired but the little bugger just wont go to sleep and is enjoying screaming at me instead!
Might open the wine that mums bought me for christmas haha! Too early do you think hehe!!!!

Just waiting on a call from dad now to see when were going up to theirs, looking forward to us all looking spick and span...and to top off our fabby Christmas OH played bingo online last night and in total won £400 couldnt be happier right now, to say we have struggled our behinds off the girls have got more than enough gifts and still have more at dads to open!

Anyway...off i go to try and settle my little lady! heres a few pics of the chaos this morning, i'll put some more on later of the girls all looking glam in their christmas frocks



Oh and Daisy...no i dont have ear plugs for the keyboard...i'm beginning to think they might be a good idea

Christmas day was manic, it was nice to have all morning to chill and enjoy family time, dad picked us up at midday, we opened more gifts and got merry! by the end of the night,Elise was coughing so hard she was constantly being sick all over herself and dads room, so we went home with everyone in tow (dad, his wife, brother, half sister, OH's sister and neice and step sisters fella...full house lol) and then Lexi decided to projectile vomit all over me whilst i was trying to settle her in her room!
OH flaked in bed extremely drunk, i was tipsy so the night feeds were horrendous as i ended up with a banging head. This morning OH flitted up and downstairs i had no help from him, apparently he was feeling extremely ill due to hangover...oh yeah but its fine for me to feel rough and still have to do the night feeds get the kids up, housework done, promised Elise i would do lots of things with her today, test out her new candy floss maker and do arty things and even though i felt crap i stuck to my word, ive just felt so stressed with having to deal with both kids on my own for the best part of the day, Elise nagging and making a mess, Lexi moaning because shes over tired, its been mentally draining, we've not long since had tea and the tooth where i had a root canal filling has broken at one side, dont know if its the tooth thats come away or some filling, so i'm gutted about that as i hate dentists and i'm going to have to make an appointment tomorrow, and then to top it off, OH wants to watch a film and i want to watch my soaps so i'm left downstairs on my own, just like i have been most the day...happy boxing day to me
So i'm being a gluten for punishment and having a glass of wine, just got Lexi to sleep on the sofa so at least things are nice and quiet for now

To add to my super crappy boxing day yesterday Lexi decided to go hourly through the night, there isnt even any point going through the times, shes like a human clock, went to bed at 9:35pm she was unsettled then and i went through to her 3 times in 20 minutes before i told OH to sort her, i was fed up and miserable as well as super tired and i'd had enough! He got her to sleep just after 10pm and she just woke hourly from there, always around 10 past the hour, sure theres a buzzer in her head which bleeps after shes been asleep exactly 1 hour
So i've woken up cranky again today, the fact i have to ring the dentist to get this god damn tooth sorted isnt helping my mood, i have an awful feeling he wont be able to fix it up and will want to take it out, basically all thats left of my tooth is the front bit that everyone sees when i smile, the back part has just vanished (probably in my stomach with the rest of last night tea) just gutted because if he does want to pull it everyone will see the god awful gap, i'll end up looking like something from jeremy kyle

Going to try and get this house in some order today too, all the toys up stairs neatly, and a good clean as theres fish food everywhere after Elise spilled their tub of food last night! Hoping OH will do it all seen as though he did sweet FA yesterday!

I was speaking to charlotte yesterday (misscrazycookie) and she said that she doesnt let Elliott nap around tea time, so i tried that out yesterday, Lexi had a nap at 3pm and ended up having a 2 hour kip, typical when i was hoping for her not to be sleeping at tea time! Anyway, good side to that i got a nap in too, she ate well, had chicken and sweet squash for tea followed by rice pudding and then half a mashed banana an hour and half later, gave her a nice bath and for the first time in ages come 8:15pm she laid on the sofa, took 5oz of milk and laid there contently while just after 9 when she fell asleep. Took her up to bed at 10pm and she woke for her first feed at 1:45am then at 4:10am, 5:10am and lastly 7am so we didnt do too badly i guess, better than before anyway, and in total last night she took 4oz, thats it! Just shows that the bottle is more of a comfort thing for her to get her back to sleep...now if only i could get her to have a dummy no chance though tried her again yesterday and she just likes to pop it out of her mouth lol!

Me and OH had a major clean up yesterday, got all the toys upstairs, i went to the asda and got more ingredients for cheesecake as dad was smitten by mine so i said i'd make a dairy milk one for the new years eve party at his, tested the new pushchair out, its awesome and me and Elise spent hers and Lexi's xmas money from Aunt Margaret so it was all fun!
We checked out Elises ice cream maker which does a fab job for a kids contraption made more candy floss, OH was impressed haha, went to check out elises pottery wheel, but it needs batteries, stupid us for not checking, so after i've been to the dentist this morning i'm going to nip into town and get some!
And yes, finally got into the dentist, not so happy though as i havent got my own dentist (who's quite easy on the eye too so makes going worth it haha) instead i have mums dentist, who she is forever moaning about, wanting to change as she calls him a butcher, a bit heavy handed she says great, something as bad as a broken tooth, i'd be wanting my dentist who i trust to deal with it, but no, i have a stranger who apparently butchers your gob...cant wait

So thats my day! Think OH is going to the casino tonight with his sister and fella and my brother, his sister lives in London so they have been waiting to do this for aaaages, so might get myself a nice bottle of wine and a meal for one from the asda haha, maybe a nice risotto or something have a cosy night in on my own! Should be fun!

What a day i had yesterday! As if going to the dentist with a broken tooth wasnt daunting enough i had a far worse experience on the way there! I had more or less not long since come out of my street when i saw an man, probably in his 50's baggy brown coat and limp, walking towards me, i instantly felt a little weary about him, he disappeared up a side path before i got to him, for some reason i had visions of him pouncing out at me so i walked past carefully, eyeing up where he might be, as i passed the side path i saw him lurking around some flats looking very dodgy indeed! I passed a policeman who was ever so friendly and said morning and then around 2 minutes later i hear all this shouting, look around and the man with the limp is shouting stuff at me and walking as if he was trying to catch me up, so i walked faster, he was yelling "oi" at me, i couldnt understand the rest, it was very slurry and i think he was drunk but none the less he was after me, limping away so fast, he actually followed me all the way into town where i managed to lose him! Phew, was so so scary though, i was frightened to leave the dentist in case i saw him again in town! Which is a first...not wanting to leave the dentist haha!

The dentist went ok too, it was emergency's only and so he just popped a filling around the sharp bit, i have to go back to see my dentist 15th January for a possible crown putting on there, just thankful they dont want to pull it! Was nice to have a filling too without pain relief haha, good old tooth having no nerves to shoot me through the roof with!

Last night was ok without OH, Elise ended up falling to sleep in my bed and Lexi was gone by 8:15pm so i watched what i wanted to watch on tv had a couple of beers and ate all the soft centred chocs from the roses tin although there werent many as they are elises fave too! I put Elise in her own bed and then took Lexi up at 9:40pm, she woke straight away so had a feed there and then, she next woke at 10:35pm i thought "here goes, another hourly night" but then she didnt wake then until 2:45am which was weird as i had just fed her when OH knocked on the door...how lucky Lexi woke anyway at 2:45am and i mean wide awake, smiling and kicking her legs so the mobile came in handy once again to get her back off to sleep. she then woke at 5;05am, 6am and lastly 7:50am which is when i got up because her back side stunk lol, so it was a nappy change on the sofa for missus and another bottle and shes back off asleep! She has a cough too which doesnt sound anything like Elises, i swear its what her croup sounded like at the very beginning, really hope i'm wrong, really dont fancy being stuck in hospital again, Lexi was not best amused last time plus seeing her in pain every time she coughed was just awful!

Today i think i'm gonna knock my dairy milk cheesecake up, think i'm going to add crushed up crunchie to the mix too and do a crunchie cheesecake hope it bloody works, ive just copied the white choc recipe but added milk choc instead lol! need to do more biscuit base too, it seemed thin before, think i got a larger tin than the recipe required, never mind

She hasnt gone hourly for a while at least haha! thats the proper killer, i can deal with anything else!

Made the cheesecake yesterday, didnt know if it would work as the texture seemed thicker this time around but i've checked it this morning and it seems ok, now to see if it passes the taste test later

Wishing my babies would hurry up and get better too, Lexi's cough is well and truly on its way although not quite croup like atm thank God! The thing is Lexi gets quite a temperature when she has a cough and cold where as elise has been ok in that department, so Lexi was dosed up on calprofen last night! I didnt try and keep her awake at tea time etc with her being ill, i'd rather her sleep as much as she can bless her! So she did end up napping at tea time and then fell to sleep properly at 7:45pm although she fussed quite a lot, waking up and having a little whinge as well as coughing her little head off took her up to bed at 9:30pm and she woke for a feed at 12:45am then at 2am where she was crying and wouldnt take a bottle so i brought her into our room, OH got her medicine and then i popped her in the moses basket, she dropped off quite quickly and then woke for her next feed at 4:25am, she then woke at 6;05am crying didnt want any bottle so i ended up stroking her hand until she dozed back off and then she finally woke at 8:45am which was nice as i actually got some sleep myself! Elise woke around the same time crying because she felt sick, we come downstairs, i get Lexi in her walker, start to give her her breakfast and she gips and then projectiles everywhere poor babies! She is currently having a bottle on the sofa and is looking very sleepy indeed, hate it when my kids are ill, and to make matters worse OH thinks he's coming down with something too as he said his head felt fuzzy last night bloody hell, house full of lurgies lol!

Todays plans consist of nothing well, to escape the lurgies i might go do some ironing or something

What a night!!! So both Kids are still unwell, Elise ended up falling asleep in my bed again, Lexi napped at around 1-2pm and hadnt had any sleep from then on, i gave her her tea around 4:30pm, bathed her at 5:30pm, OH gave her a snack of banana around 6:30pm while i was in the bath and come 8pm i decided to get her laid down on the sofa for some sleep seen as though she had not napped all afternoon, she had some bottle and dozed off...for half an hour she woke up a little teary so we gave her some meds and then she went in her walker for a while, she was happy as larry, wide awake and smiley, but then it got to 10pm and she was still wide awake, so i took her up to bed at 10:10pm popped her musical light show on and she nodded off by 10:25pm! She woke for a feed at 11:20pm and then woke again at 12:30am screaming, she was inconsolable, we thought she had had a nightmare but as soon as we calmed her down she started screaming again, she didnt want a bottle or anything! We ended up giving her some more medicine at 12:40am and it took us while 1:40am to get her to sleep. She kept crying everytime she coughed but finally she was so knackered she just went off and slept through the coughing, everytime she coughed in her sleep she would hold her breath for a little while which had OH on edge and he couldnt sleep, so i told him to go get on the sofa! Funnily enough after he had gone downstairs to sleep missus had more or less stopped coughing in her sleep, she woke at 3:20am, 5:45am and lastly 8:15am so after all the fussing i didnt get too much of a bad nights sleep. She has woken this morning smiling and although she hasnt eaten much in the way of breakfast she seems ok in herself bless her!

Were going to dads tonight for a little NYE gathering, may have to tell him not to be offended if we end up going earlier than expected, the kids arent well and if they get grouchy i'm not keeping them up late just to see new year in, i know that sounds awful but tbh i wouldnt even mind if me and OH were doing nothing tonight, its just another night really!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Aww Daisy what a lovely thing to say :') thank you for your friendship also, and heres to another year of fab friendships too

We had a good night at dads last night, i didnt drink much, didnt feel overly cracking tbh, Lexi was a darling and only had a couple of crying episodes, she was generally quite pleasant and got lots of attention, Elise was off, chasing the dogs and being mischievous as per usual and after we saw the new year in we let off a corker of a firework, it was spectacular, dont know how much it cost, but it was lovely
Dads wife spoilt things a little towards the end,she was legless, trying it on with OH and my brother and her daughters fella all night, at one point she took Lexi from me and nearly went flying with her and then us silly people forgot to pre-book a taxi, rung one at half 12 and they couldnt get one out to us until 3am so i was properly pissed off, tired and needing bed, Lexi fell asleep at dads at about 11:40pm she stirred and cried a couple of times as she was just so knackered, we got home just after 3am straight to bed, she woke for a small feed at some point and woke properly at 7:50am, its funny as i actually feel like i got quite a bit of sleep even though i went to bed at 3, i think its because Lexi hardly woke through the night and more or less slept through!
This morning i feel like a drunk a skinfull even though i hardly had anything, deffo think i'm finally catching the kids lurgies, for once i'm last to get it in this house, which makes a change!

Today is going to consist of nothingness! Last day to admire the christmas tree and then its coming down tomorrow along with everything else, nice clean and tidy up before getting onto the landlord about this bloody sofa which is still stuck in the garden as well as the damp in the house, every bloody room has damp, or mould on the wall in some form or another, OH said he can smell it bad, so i'm gonna be onto the landlord about it!

Yesterday was so boring, must have been the most boringest new years day ever! OH stayed in bed all day because he's ill, Elise was upstairs dancing and singing to christmas hymns that she had put on on the laptop and Elexis slept a hell of a lot, which meant little old me sat on my own watching rubbish on tv!

Lexi went to sleep around 7:30pm last night but woke about 8:15 and was wide awake, so i ended up going to bed at 10:20pm with her wide awake, she slept in the moses basket with her still being ill and gipping every time she coughs, she finally dropped off by herself at 10:40pm and didnt wake for a feed until 3:20am
Elise was shouting through to me at 4am as she had earache, OH had given her paracetamol at 2am so she couldnt have any more and i didnt know what else i could do for her, but her shouting me every 2 minutes was causing Lexi to stir, so i ended up feeding her again at 4:20am, 5:20am, 6:10am, 7:30am and then we finally woke properly and got up at 9am! so the night went well and then got a little bit rubbish but at least i felt like i had decent sleep with the long stint at the start
I ended up pouring warm water into Elises ear last night, thought it might help and it did seem to ease it enough for her to get to sleep, shes at the doctors this morning as it seems to be getting worse, shes had it for 3 days now, so we shall see what the docs say!

So with that i had better get off and get dressed ready for the walk into town and hope to God we dont see the weird man again who decided to follow me the other day!
