The SW diet started yesterday, i actually found the first day quite hard because for some reason all i wanted to do was eat what i couldnt, hope todays a better day! OH doesnt help...wanting me to start the diet when we get the £1000 through, i told him theres no point stopping and starting because were skint, i'll just have to eat repetitive stuff for a while when were skint!

Lexi ate well yesterday, her appetite for solids has gone through the roof! She had blueberry porridge for breakfast, a hand full of quavers mid morning, for dinner she had sweet and sour chicken with rice and apple with oats for afters, she had a bottle around 2 and drained a full 5oz, for tea she had sweet chicken casserole with sweet potato mash and banana delight for afters and then another hand full of quaver after that (well i say hand full, 3 crisps lol) and a bit of her sisters milky bar then a bottle before bed!
Last night she seemed to wake quite a bit for feeds rather than dummy, i think she had a total of 4 feeds last night and around 4-5 dummy stops. At least were well on our way to the 2 bottles a day like the HV wanted at 8 month old, so long as we can get the night time feeds sorted, and tbh she hardly has anything at night when she does feed i think last night she went through a total of 6oz so not much at all, so really all in all yesterday she had a total of around 15oz in a 24 hour period

Got the dentist this morning, not sure what the procedure is but i need a crown doing on one of my teeth dont know if this consists of 2 appointments or what, for once i'm not bricking it probably because the tooth in question has no nerves or anything!

The dentist was a breeze, he just told me what they were going to do with the tooth and booked me back in for 2 weeks time to prep the tooth for a crown and do the mould and then back 2 weeks after that for the crown fitting, for once i'm not terrified of going lol!
The diet went better yesterday, its good that potatoes and beans are free as i had a big jacket potato with beans which filled me up loads and i didnt even think of eating anything else for the rest of the night, so it went better and bonus that in the first day i lost 2lb. Swimmings off now until next week as public swims starting at 9am are on Mondays and Thursdays and this Thursday i'm going or drinks in the aft with my friend for her birthday and going out for lunch which im looking forward to havent got out much lately, but must watch what i have for dinner...hehe!

Lexi was a little monkey last night, she did well up until 2:30am and then she woke 4 times in half hour, creating and crying, but i still managed to only give her feeds 3 times last night! Its deffo gonna be the night time feeds that are going to be the toughest to knock out!
Little lady said dada last night too why cant she of said mama first lol! Although i'm still saying that at 4 months she did say mama, she went through a phase when she was upset of saying maaama, probably just a random baby babble but im still saying she said mama first haha!

Todays plans...take elise to school and then head into town, cancel a DD and buy myself some new bedding which ive seen in the sales, £8.99 for zebra print bedding, leopard print on the reverse side, its looks amazeballs and i do need new bedding, the cats and Elise have made sure of that, white and satin do not go with children and pets with sharp claws lol!

Happy Lotto win wednesday ha chance would be a fine thing!

Aww thanks daisy! I took some amazing pics of her yesterday on the new bedding, i'll have to upload at some point, unfortunately i'm rushing this journal, only gone and slept through the alarm so its a rushed breakfast quickly get elise ready OH's gonna take her to school and then i need to get ready for my afternoon of drinks with my friend

Had a super bad night with Lexi last night, she fell asleep downstairs around 9 so i thought i'd take her up, she didnt flinch when i picked her up so she must of been knackered, put her down and all was fine...for half hour, then she woke crying! Everytime i settled her she woke 5-10 minutes later crying, literally went into her 5 times in 45 minutes. The last episode she sounded distraught and was hysterical, so much so that when i picked her up she went straight to sleep as she had tired herself out, i tried her once more in her cot and she woke half hour later crying again, in the end i put her in the moses basket in our room and she was the same all night, woke crying and wanted feeding at every wake, she was having none of the dummy, which made me feel like we had taken a step back from previous nights i'm hoping it was just her next tooth trying to push its way through the gum and thats why she was more tetchy than usual, gonna have a prod around in that mouth as soon as shes woke!

Right...off i go, managed to do my journal in 5 minutes, that back space button has been used A LOT lol!

I have somewhat of a skinny hangover today not good, i've taken 2 paracetamol and currently knocking back a steaming hot cuppa and some bran flakes, a big fat fry up would of been more adequate but seen as though im on a diet its not to be! Had a lovely day out anyway and OH seemed to cope very well with the children, Lexi was even in her PJ's when i got it, wasnt expecting that!
I was a bit worried about leaving him at first as Lexi was really quite maungy yesterday before i went, thought we were gonna have another episode of him ringing to get me back home because he couldnt cope with the crying but he didnt thank God! She slept a bit better than she did yesterday night at least, but it was harsh getting up still especially as the alcohol was wearing off and the hangover was kicking in resulting in my head banging every time i took a step that'll teach me! ha!

Friday at last! And to top that off were forecast a fair bit of snow we already had some last night which settled and gave a light dusting, maybe 1cm worth so if it comes down today its sure to settle, cant wait to show Lexi it, wonder what she will think hehe!

Well its been decided...i am to start looking for a job! Living on benefits just isnt working for us, we have £20 to last us while the end of next week, pfft, thats just about accounted for and more as we need milk for Lexi which is £9, nappies which are £6 then theres electric, tv water and gas for the week sick of it now, weve gotta be at least a bit better off me working, going to go on the online benefits calculator later and see whats what, i'm gonna hate missing milestones for Lexi once again (i went to work when elise was 6 month old and missed out on lots of firsts which upsets me as i can never get that back) looks like its gonna be happening again, at least i've got to see her first roll and first sitting up unaided, just probably gonna miss her crawling for the first time or standing etc but i need to do what needs to be done and we need money coming in!

Lexi didnt do too bad last night i guess, still had to go into her 5 times and OH once, 3 of those times were to be fed, she had her best stint this morning, i put her dummy back in at 6am and she didnt wake while nearly 8! Shes just had boiled egg and soldiers, she tried a bit of yolk and pulled a face and ate some of her soldiers but i think she was super hungry and needed food intake straight away as she started whinging so i gave her some bottle and then made her some blueberry porridge up of which she has eaten almost all of it as well as 2oz of milk and now shes happily playing in her baby walker!

We havent had much snow today, was hoping to be snowed in and not do anything all day hehe, but its not to be, our snowfall was shambolic tbh, it was like a sprinkling of icing, no massive snow flakes or anything boo hoo, i guess it makes it easier for the school run Monday though

Anyway off i go, have another cuppa and relax before i do some housework and job hunting! This will be fun

aargh...right so on deciding to get a job and finding and applying for one I did the online benefits calculator and we should be getting near on double child tax creds ay the mo, I did a comparison and if I get the job I'm £17 better off a week, but then I have to pay full rent out of that so in theory we will n so so much more worse off ffs why can't the gov make it worth while to work this is ridiculous!

lexi slept lovely last night, she did have a late one mind, was still awake come 10:30 she was asleep in bed by 11 and woke at 3:30am for a feed, she then woke ay 5:50am and then again at 6:35 but I just popped her dummy in that time and then she lastly woke at 9am feel like I've had tonz of sleep its lovely lol! best bit was that OH fell asleep on the sofa so I got to starfish all night lovely.

on a mission to sell lexis pram today, had a few people interested yesterday but heard nothing so far this morning hope we can flog it were skint as chuffers lol.

Oops...forgot to update yesterday lol, never mind, nothing much happened tbh, Lexi did ok at sleeping, Elise had the day off of school because of the snow, school wasnt closed but i kept her off as i had a feeling they would and lo and behold a couple of hours later the parents were asked to collect their children! My brother and his GF couldnt get into work either yesterday so we went down to theirs for tea last night, we had a lovely roast accompanied with a glass of wine (or 2 hehe) and then OH watched the football with my brother, so me and his GF read through her pregnancy books and got excited at the thought of her sexing scan in 11 days

Today, its another snow day, thank God because Lexi didnt have the best of nights, she wanted feeding everytime she woke which was more or less every 1 1/2 to 2 hours, she went through 11oz which is not like her, she usually only has 5oz through the night! Wonder if were having a growth spurt or something, must check on that one, she was 7months old exactamundo yesterday...where the hell has the time gone

OH won some money on his roulette last night at my brothers and then when we got home he won £100 on the online bingo so thinking we might get Elise her birthday present seen as though she's 6 next Tuesday again, where the hell has the time gone lol

So anyway...off i go now to clear Lexi's tray of scrambled egg which she hasnt really attempted but at least shes eaten her toast, were really getting the hang of the proper solids now...yay!

Had such a bad night with Lexi last night, she was super whingy from around tea time, wanted entertaining constantly, she fell asleep around 9pm downstairs but was easily woken, OH spoke, she woke up, he coughed, she woke up so i decided to take her to bed where it was nice and quiet! She went straight to sleep but then woke an hour later and i ended up going into 3 times within 40 minutes, she woke every hour until, at 1:45am OH dealt with her, then 5 minutes later once he was back in bed, he coughed and she started screaming so i went in to her, took me 10 minutes to calm her down and get her back to sleep and then she slept for 3 hours before then waking another 4 times up until we got up at 7am! Every time she woke she wanted the bottle and guzzled loads, she wasnt interested in the dummy one bit, im really hoping this is a growth spurt shes going through as this is the 2nd night now of her sleeping crap, i'm absolutely exhausted, really wouldnt be so bad if she didnt want feeding every single time, we got into a good habit of not feeding at every waking hour and using the dummy and now it seems to have gone out the window...how can a baby call all the shots lol!

Not on with much today, may tackle my super massive ironing pile seen as though Elise is back at school no offence to the poor kid but she's thrashed my poor head these last 4 days, ive forgot how many times ive asked her to tidy her room/landing/bottom of stairs and its still messy, so shes been warned...after school today she tidy's up straight away and doesnt come down stairs until its spotless!! Kids lol!
