And then there were 2 :)

Oh also meant to say if you google how to get cat wee smells out of upholstery there are some good tips.

Thats great news, both on the normal weight and cat wee fronts ! makes a change from lager dripping from the can when he falls asleep. !

How lovely to be reaching out the decorations this weekends.
I m waiitng for the 1st Dec but have already made some Christmas cards for my glitter fix!!
Happy friday Im so glad that the money is begining to be sorted out. We missed you when the laptop had to go in, hope you never have to do that again.
xx Daisy

Ahh thanks Ladies :)

Spammy...yes people must think all babies should look the blooming same, it annoys me, you cant win either way, i bet if our babies were little scrawny things people would think we werent feeding them enough
As for the cat pee i have managed it, wash powder works well every time, something to do with the enzymes in it i think so now were back to fresh smelling upholstery lol!

Daisy yes makes a change from beer been spilled but tbh both are nightmares at getting rid of the smell lol!
And yes, i cant wait to dec up, think i may go get some extra bits today or tomorrow though
Hope our laptop never has to go in again either, hate missing out on updating my journal and catching up with others!

Right onto yesterdays antics! We had the photo shoot for the girls last night, was properly awesome, they did em both together first, then Elise on her own in a pink tutu and wings doing spins and hair flicks and one of her on her tummy with her hands out as they are gonna put a fairy in her hand, then they did Lexi, stripped her down to her nappy and put a fluffy pink tutu on her and wings and got some gorgeous chubby baby shots...one photo she has her hand out looking disgusted, so i joked that they could fit a fairy on her hand and she thought it was a good idea, so thats the plan, and both the fairy pics will have their names on them with fairy dust around the edges, really cant wait to get em back, i shall share the pics when i get them :D love em

Last night was harsh, Lexi was a bit maungy during the photo shoot anyway i had to keep picking her up but she wouldnt take any bottle, she just cried and whined from around 6pm and would not feed, every time i put the bottle in her mouth and she bit down she screamed, it was obvious it was her teeth but what worried us was she wasnt feeding so come 10pm we rung the out of hours doc, they wanted us to take her through to the hosp but we couldnt get there as we had no transport and everyone was in bed, in the end we managed to get 3oz down her with a syringe, went up to bed at 11:50pm and she woke for a feed at 2:45am and took 2oz from the bottle, then woke again at 5:45am taking 4oz and she is just stirring now at 7:20am :) so good night all in all after we finally got her to sleep, i think the fact that her teeth were on the move giving her some pain and the fact she was hungry was kinda just a vicious circle, calpol didnt seem to work neither did the teething gel so need an alternative as i cant be going through all that screaming again wowzer, it was hardcore!!

Right off i go to get my little teethy lady seen as though shes awake :) Christmas shopping today and dentist this aft meh, hate dentists, wish me luck with both

xx

Calpol doesn't seem to work for us either. Baby neurofen works much better. Also dentinox gel seems to work for us better than bonjela and nelsons teetha powders work brilliantly for us!

Meri has been struggling with her teeth for a few weeks but still no sign of any coming through! Not fun!

Those pictures sound fab. Can't wait to see them!

Good luck with teeth today. Photos sounds wonderful , lots of fun to add in fairies . Its lovely to mark a moment in your lives with the girls. Hope they turn out great.
Hope you dont have to have any work done on your teeth and that you find something to ease the teething pains.
x Daisy

Thanks ladies, i got some anbesol yesterday, she started getting whiney last night so i gave her calprofen and applied some of the anbesol and she was fine after that, so fingers crossed we have our method lol!

Spammy...we've been the same, Elexis has been chewing at her hands since around 2-3 month and has a back tooth poking through already but it just doesnt seem to be making its move, been in the same position for ages now!

Daisy, i was so scared when i was sat in the dentists waiting room as i do need a filling replacing and thats what i thought he was going to do, luckily it was just a check up, but i have to go back 11th December for the filling replacing and some x rays as well as a scale and polish which tbh i hate as that hurts as well, i'm such a pussy haha!

Onto my lovely daughter now and her bloody sleeping...she seemed to want to sleep a lot yesterday, i think it must of been down to all the crying and the late night the day before! She fell to sleep around 8pm and i took her to bed at 10:50pm she woke for a feed at 11:10pm so i kind of knew from then on that we were going to have a rubbish night especially as she only took 1oz :wall: she then woke at 1:10am (1oz) 2:40am (1oz) 4:45am (3oz) at 5:45am she was wide awake, flapping in her cot and laughing so i popped her in the moses basket, she soon drifted off, woke up around 6:30am took 1oz and back to sleep while 8:20am! She doesnt seem interested in her breakfast this morning although she has got into a bad habit of flailing her arms around, splatting baby food everywhere and needless to say she gets covered also  roll on when i can just give her a stick of toast or a banana or something! She so desperately wants to grab the spoon and do things herself but ive tried this and she ends up nearly ramming the spoon down her throat lol so i'm not confident in letting her do it herself just yet!

Christmas tree is going up today :yay: when we get paid next week i'm gonna get some extra decorations, seen some lovely glittery butterfly decorations for the christmas tree in town, so i'm going to change my colour scheme from just all silver to silver and pink :) cant wait! Also got some of Elise's christmas presents yesterday too, got her an icecream maker  thats gonna be fun but yummy all the same :) also got Lexi a little outfit...a shocking pink tutu with a shocking pink long sleeved top with leopard print love heart on it :) shes gonna look soooooooo cute!

xx

Eeeek i put the tree up yesterday :D me and the kids went into town for some more decorations for it, we ended up with blue baubles, blue sparkly butterflies and and multicoloured tinsel :D i tried the lights out a few days before so i was safe for those...yeah right, popped the lights on the tree took friggin ages was getting well peeved, switched them on to see if i had distributed em right and they wouldnt work, checked the fuse, the job lot but nope they had gone, so quick dash out to asda for some more! Looks beaut now though :) so we had a very cosy night last night watching x factor and i'm a celeb in the light of the christmas tree

Now onto little moo! She was very maungy all day yesterday, i just assumed it was her teeth again although she wasnt chewing much on her hands for a change! Anyway she fell asleep at 8pm as usual and usually she sleeps through to her first feed but she woke at 9pm for a feed and was asleep for 9:15pm we went up to bed at 10:20pm where she stirred for ages and ended up waking for a feed at 10:35pm (2oz) she then woke at 12:10am (2oz) 2;05am (1oz) at 2:50am she woke and had just a small drink! She woke at 3:15am and she sounded awful, couldnt feed because her nose was so blocked, i popped down for the nasosal and popped them in her nose which didnt really seem to help! She was wide awake so i put her in the moses basket in my room and she finally fell to sleep at 3:55am! I didnt keep tabs on how often she woke after this as it was very often and mainly as she was struggling to breath with the blocked nose, kept using the drops! Anyway, were up now, shes just had banana and custard for breakfast, thought i'd treat her after her awful night and it must of made a nice change as she ate the whole lot, half of banana :D bless!

Onto today...i have a pile of ironing 5 foot tall to contend with (ok maybe slight exaggeration) i have loads of washing to do too...meh! Jamie can go to the asda on his tod, i'll just have to write a list of things we need lol!
Ahh lazy Sundays...Naaaat!!! haha!

Aww the photos are fab, beautiful tree and beautiful daughter. The old lights was probably just a single bulb. If you got spare bulbs in the box you can go along the line and see if you can spot a blown out filament and change the bulb this will fix them. Take plug out and pull bulb out, push new bulb in.
Love the carrot idea that's a good one.
Shame about the dentist that it couldnt just be over already and you have to worry about it for a few more weeks!
So you house is all christmassy how lovely. Hope that Lexis cold goes away and she settles down and you all get more sleep.
Happy sunday
x Daisy

Thanks hun, yes i did think it could be a bulb but i dont have any spares anyway :wall: so i just got 80 clear ones from asda £6...not bad really! I've not completely trimmed up yet, OH wants to hide that fact that we have trimmed up until the weekend at least, so then i will be popping the window lights and stickers up and finding some garland for the fireplace, want it all lit up and sparkly, more than last year, if were gonna have a crap year money wise and present wise i wanna make sure it looks all the more magical at least! And next year i have promised my girls the best Xmas ever, so i better get saving straight after, think i'm going to start saving with park or studio or something!

Was a shame about the dentist too, i had psyched myself up so much too, going through fear and then giving my head a shake and thinking if i can do child birth i can easily do a filling lol!

Elise started feeling unwell as well last night, shes suddenly got a cough and a sore throat, i've asked her if she can manage today at school to see how she goes, she hasnt had a day off yet and i'm hoping to keep it that way! She seems ok in her self this morning anyway and Lexi is still very snotty  i can do baby poo and sick but i cant be doing with snot, it makes me feel ill lol!

I didnt chart Lexi's sleep or feeds last night, me and OH agree'd that with her being ill to just let her feed on demand and sleep in the moses basket in our room! Off the top of my head and of what i can remember she woke up around 4 times through the night so not bad at all really to say she was making funny noises with her nose been all bunged up and snotty!

Todays plan...Get elise to school then into town with my OH to collect his poker winnings £90 :yay: this will get us through until Wednesday thankfully, get Lexi a sleeping bag as i'm sick of her wriggling and kicking her blankets off on a night...she does it on purpose, i put the blanket over her, she lifts her legs really high up and kicks down quickly until the blankets are off her completely the little bugger, which i hate as her bedroom has to be around 18-19 degrees c and tbh i think thats bloody cold, theres been times ive gone in when shes not had a full baby grow on and her little legs have been like ice :( so sleeping bag it is! And hopefully OH might let me spend a tenner on a christmas present for one of the girls! Really need to start getting things in order, just over 30 days to Christmas and i'm no where near organised  please let me win the lotto in the meantime haha!

xx

Snotty girls its not good, every hug leaves a trail!
Well £90 is better than nothing, gives you a little breathing space, hope you find some awesome things for the girls.
and of course win the lottery. can you turn my p test pos whilst you are having good luck?
xx Daisy

Well we got a couple more presents yesterday, one each for Elise and Elexis, we got Elise a disney princess tea party set (its real pot not plastic too...dunno whether this is gonna be a good idea or bad lol) and we got Lexi a giraffe rattle thingy! so now they have 6 each!
And yes fingers crossed for a lotto win, i'll also be sure to ask santa very nicely to give you a nice big fat P test too :) you deserve to have it so much, just hope its not too much longer for you hunni because those 2ww are just the worst! :hugs:

Lexi slept in the moses basket again last night in with us, i think shes just about ready to go back in her cot tonight though, shes not as bunged up and is feeding much better on a night now! Again i was lazy and didnt chart sleep or feeds but again to my recollection she only woke again around 4 times and again i felt like i managed to get some decent sleep!

Really wish we could come into some money :( ok so i'm managing to get the girls bits every time we get a bit of money. but i went into asda yesterday and they have some amazing dresses for the girls, every year i like to get Elise a nice fancy dress for Xmas day and i'm hoping to carry on that tradition with Lexi, i think i'll be able to do Elise but not Lexi, we have one of Elises old dresses from her first Christmas which will fit Lexi if i cant afford to get her a new one so thats something at least! I need to get the girls a fancy dress outfit a piece for saturday as they have a party to go to, i have xmas cards to buy and feel like pap not been able to buy the family anything this year, OH said not to worry what they think it cant be helped, he cant understand that i'm not worrying what they think i just feel awful and gutted because i love giving, i love buying for people and watching their faces when they open their gift, i'd rather give than receive tbh, its more satisfying! Were thinking OH's wage is going to be about £400 if that on Friday so i am hoping and praying that his work have seen the error of their ways and actually paid him correctly as well as add ons which they havent paid him in the past, wishful thinking i know but anything over £400 is gonna be a bonus!
OH's ringing up to start a claim for his sickness today so i'm also hoping this is sorted out fairly quickly! Fingers crossed!

xx

I feel for you, last year i was super broke and I made cushion covers from old sheets and bits of fabric and biscuits and pies as presents. They just cost time to make, theres lots of things you can have a go at.
Calandars made out of art paper with a photo for each month are cheap to make just the cost of printing the photo and the paper - in fact they've got kits in the works atm for 1.99 including the photo paper. You can write in peoples birthdays and things that happened in the past in those months -
I also did pots of spring bulbs. Theres lots you can do with not much money I know that you will think of lots of great things to.

Heres to a windfall and being able to splurge.
x Daisy

Aww Daisy thanks for the great ideas :) wish i was as arty and craft as you :D and if i do get a windfall i'll be sure to pass some along to you ;)

OH was such an arse last night, he's been winning bit and bats on the poker which has been seeing us through and yesterday he won £200 on the bingo on line, he took £150 off and we got some more Christmas presents for the girls and treated ourselves to a takeaway and bottle of wine! Anyway, OH was playing more poker last night and kept on getting bad beat so he would punch the wall, i kept telling him to pack it in and he knew what the site was like for bad beats! Anyway he went out of the tournament without winning a penny and looked stressed and pissed off afterwards! I didnt say anything to him, no told you so's or anything, i put Elise to bed came down and grabbed a cereal bar from the cupboard, sat down and that was it "oh my God i cant believe your eating again, your just greedy, you've just had a massive tea and even i'm full up, you've done nothing but eat lately..." blah blah blah, made me feel like he was basically calling me fat! In the end after trying to defend myself i just said "ya know what, i'm taking me and Lexi to bed as obviously your taking shit out on me because you feel crappy and are having a bad evening and i dont need it" and off we went! So this morning i'm buggering off to do some Xmas shopping with Lexi not even gonna tell him i'm leaving for school or anything he can go bollocks!

As for Lexi i had her in our room one last night, she slept fairly ok, waking roughly around 12, 1:30, 3:30 5:50 and 6:15, shes just had her breakfast and is now watching peppa pig :) gonna go get her a little santa outfit today as well as getting Elise her christmas dress :) cant wait now!

xx

Those are some ups and downs all in 12hrs!
hooray for £150, its lovely to be able to a have a little treat after economising so long isnt it. I'm glad for you. What a grumpy git he was though making you feel like crap!. Added to his not doing the night feeds or really helping its a bit much!

Hope you have a lovely day out and he realises how much he relys on you.
x Daisy

Yeah it was nice to have a little treat after struggling for so long!
As for OH he apologized to me when i got in yesterday, said he didnt mean for it to come out the way it did and that we are his world and without us he's nothing etc, ahh bless! So i told him he better start treating me a bit better then! I got a cream bun for my troubles haha!
Just worried about OH a little too as all day yesterday every time he went for a poo there was loads of blood in the toilet, ive told him he has to get in at the doctors this morning as somethings not right plus he's only just told me that his stools are more often than not soft, i said really that should be the other way around so i told him to mention that too!

Right onto little lady, she was back in her own room last night she was fed and asleep downstairs by 8:30pm, we went up to bed at 9:45pm and she woke for a feed at 10:55pm, she didnt take very much feed, she then woke at 12 (3oz) 2:15am (2oz) and 5:20am (2oz) and shes still asleep at the mo! So shes doing well...seems to have gone the opposite way around now, sleeps crap at the start of the night and then gets better...i'm not complaining though :)

xx

Thats not good about OH, definitely get him checked out soon so you can put your minds at rest about it. I'm glad that he apologised and told you how much you mean to him ,, plus lovely cake is always a bonus!
Hope you have a great day.
x Daisy

He's been to the docs, they have given him some supposetries and some other meds, they think it may be internal piles but if the bleeding continues after these meds he's to go back! theres been no more blood this morning at least, he was going to cancel the app but i told him he had to go and get checked out anyways!

And yes...buns and cakes are always a bonus...pity he'd not taking my hint of a nice big fat bottle of Baileys, just realised earlier that today is my 1 year anniversary for stopping smoking :D and so i think i deserve a treat as its my first milestone! Just wait until OH gets paid tomorrow...i AM treating myself...all that money i've saved not smoking, i deffo deserve a treat hehe!!

xx

 so angry, upset, pissed off...all rolled into one! Last month even though OH worked 5 weeks solid after his last bout of sickness he still didnt get paid a full wage so we were expecting some of it to go on this months wage as we thought maybe some of it had gone on after the cut off point, so i get up this morning eager to find out what he's been paid with thoughts of christmas shopping dancing around my head and a few treats this weekend only to be faced with a bank balance of £306  the sky bill is £156, the hire purchase is £100 for the month, gas is £17 a fortnight, i have to catch up on my water rates so thats £20 this week i promised them, i owe mum £60 and need to put £20 to the side for the photo's i had done of the girls...all this exceeding the crappy arse wage we have received! I really dont know what to do, they are so short changing him but how the hell do we prove that when they dont even put his hours down on his wage slips so even OH doesnt know what he's supposed to get! Its all such a mess, wish the benefits would hurry up and be sorted! He rung to claim ESA earlier this week and they have yet to send forms out for us to claim this, housing benefits cant change our circumstances until the claims sorted so looks like were well on our arses yet again and we have claimed the max amount of crisis loans that we can for the year :( ffs...why does this have to happen at this time of year! Just done know what we are going to do...i have a lump in my throat and i could just sit here and cry!

Lexi Slept pretty terrible too or at least it felt that way, she had a small feed at 9:30pm, bed at 10pm first woke for a feed at 11:10 (2 and a half oz) then 1:20am (2oz) 2:45am (1oz) 4:25am (2oz) and then 5:50am where she took 1oz and is currently still awake, i ended up bringing us down stairs, there was no point trying to sleep when she was getting pissed off with being in her cot when it was obvious she wanted to get up so shes currently screeching and chatting away to herself by the side of me! And i think shes just done an almighty poop too so better get cleaning!

Happy fecking Friday

xx

Oh no! If it was me each week Id write down my hours and email them to the finance people. and then when i got my slip id email again to ask what hours it was based upon. I wouldn't just take it if i really felt that i had been paid less than I was due. Write it all down estimate what it should have been and ask them to guide you through thier calculation.Sky sucks cant you get rid of it?

Well done you for 1 year not smoking , that is truely awesome.

Good luck today
x Daisy
