Well dunno what was wrong with my little lady last night :/ so firstly we went to dads to watch fireworks, he did a mini bonfire too and i put my baby carrier on and sat Lexi forward facing so she could see everything! She didnt mind the fireworks and was a very happy smiley little girl which made me happy as lately shes been getting her lip out at everyone and screaming the place down! Anyway after an hour she was getting grumpy, she had woken from a short nap at 3:45pm and had not slept since so she was ready for some sleep! We left dads at about 9:30pm with Lexi still wide awake so i thought yay, she should sleep well for me tonight! got home and she fell to sleep after a feed at 9:45pm! I left it until 10:15pm before moving her as i wanted to make sure she was properly asleep, picked her up and she was still fast on, didnt flinch the whole way upstairs, laid her in her cot gently and she flaming woke up, so i tried her with milk and she dozed off again, just got into bed and she woke screaming and she did this for a good hour and a half, in the end i gave her calpol as everything else on the check list was checked off and there was just no reason for it other than maybe teething or over tiredness! Cant remember as such what time i finally got her to sleep but she woke for her first feed at 2:30am then 3:50am, 5:30am and lastly 6:30am! Shes just had her breakfast and is now getting all fussy and tired again on the sofa! She does seem a little constipated this morning too, she was sat there for ages pushing and when i finally took her nappy off there were 2 small pieces there so looks like i'm going to have to give her lots of water etc today to soften it up a little bit!
Barring that we had a lovely time at dads, had some nice pie and mushy peas and jacket potatoes Elise ate them out of house and home as usual

Weigh day tomorrow for my little lady looking forward to it to see what my little chubster is now!

Think i know whats wrong with my little lady indeed now...GROWTH SPURT i've come to this conclusion as yesterday when we got up after her crappy night she slept from 9:45am until 2:15pm she stirred and started getting whingy half way through but never opened her eyes so kinda had a dream feed and took the full 5oz bottle which is unheard of for Lexi! She probably had 2 hours awake max had a bath and then took another 5oz bottle! She basically just slept all day and ate really really well, she had a feed at around 8pm, we went to bed at 9:15pm and she woke for her first feed at 11:40pm then 2:25am, 3:25am, 4:40am, 5:30am and 5:45am and after this she didnt go back to sleep so i ended up getting up at 6am after feeding her, leaving her in her cot with her mobile on and then trying her in our bed! If only she could have swapped round and done the good sleeping at night and the hourly shiz through the day

Its her weigh day today too i love a good weigh day lol! OH has miffed me off too, seen as though he's not working due to sickness we said one would take elise to school the other would pick her up, yesterday i did both as he had needed to go to the supermarket so he said i had to pick her up as he had been running around all aft! So this morning, i tell him he can take Elise and i'll pick her up! His reply "i cant...i have to ring the crisis loan people" errm yeah but they arent going anywhere, told him i aint doing both when i have running around to do this afternoon taking Elexis to the docs and so on, so his reply "we'll i've got running around to do too!" exactly so share the pissing load you arse!! Grrr he really knows how to piss me off selfish t**t!!!!

Also my gran had some bloods taken a few week back, they came back and something wasnt right so they needed to do them again, anyway mum rung me yesterday to let me know the results, so basically its come back shes anaemic, normal bloods are 10 hers were 3 which the doc said indicates internal bleeding but because shes not passing any blood she has to go for the camera down her throat and up her bum...and she has to wait 2 weeks which i'm shocked at when its internal bleeding! Just hope its fixable and nothing too serious, i've never lost anyone in my family before and i'm dreading it when it does happen, my granddad died when i was 3 so i cant really remember much about it! Just hope shes gonna be ok

Oh deedee what a lot youve got going on.
I hope that the clinic today can put your mind at rest about Lexi, all the crappy comments you've had about her weight are ridiculous I don't know how you keep from telling folks to FO. The thing is Id be far more worried if she wasn't feeding and loosing wweight than shes feeding and growing like mad. I'm sure they can show you the chart and that you are doing well.

Your OH needs a kick up the arse, I know hes depressed but hes just lazy and failing to see how much of the load you are bearing compared to him. Trouble is he's a man and they just dont seem to be self aware enough to see the big picture.

When are you putting up the first xmas decorations. ?
Im trying to not think about it until the 1st Dec but everywhere i look now its creeping in and i do love my awesome glass baubles and sparkles.

Ahh thanks Daisy hope to get some reassurance today about Lexi's weight gain, i'm sure the paediatrician appointment next week will shed more light on things! And yes, i'd rather her be gaining weight and have something about her rather than her been a skinny minnie and not feeding, you cant win either way any how, if they are thin you arent feeding them right if they are overweight your feeding too much (other peoples perspectives mind as the HV say to feed on demand anyway)

As for OH he is a lazy get, i told him this morning that he's doing the night feeds tonight, i was shattered getting up so many times with her last night, he can start pulling his weight a little more!

Ooh Daisy my favourite subject Christmas i will probably be putting my decs up last weekend in November although tbh, i get quite giddy when tv shows don their decs early and i start seeing other people put theirs up and then i just end up putting mine up early i love trimming up, this year i have a fire surround so i'm going to get some light up garland and go a little over board this year already been planning where to put the tree and so on hehe!

Been to visit gran today too with mum, she looks a lot more perkier than she has done previously, they have stopped her asprin and put her on 600mg of iron tablets a day, all she was bothered about was the fact her poo is now like rabbit droppings which in her words "hurt her bum" haha bless her!

So we had the weigh in yesterday! Firstly another HV saw me to see how we were first, i told her everything, how i'm the only one doing night feeds and getting jack all sleep, about OH's anxiety and depression, Elises behaviour, money problems...everything! It was going to be our last visit until Lexi's 8-9 month check but because she said i have lots going on and she doesnt think i'm quite there yet shes going to ring in a few weeks time to see if OH's councelling is working and if i'm starting to pick up once things start going right and getting sorted etc! She said if Elises behaviour is still bad then they will get someone out to chat about it! Basically said to ignore her but half the time the behaviour cant be ignore, i mean seriously, you ask her to do something nicely and she stomps her foot and yells at me...and i'm supposed to ignore that! Well i've told Elise i have spoken to the HV about her, she wasnt happy and i told her that if she carries on misbehaving the HV is coming out to see her which she cried about so i told her only she could change that by being good! Told the HV about that ladies insensitive comments about Lexi's weight too and that she made me feel like a bad mum as she insinuated its my fault shes over weight because i over feed her etc! She said to ignore her and that they were only following procedure as she had skipped 2 centiles since being born, she said the charts are based on breastfed babies and so they do expect some variation and its just best to rule out any underlying health problems! So we got missus weighed anyway, she loved getting stripped off and was babbling away to the HV, anyway she now weighs 20lb and 2oz (she was 17lb 9oz at 17 weeks old) seems to be putting just under 3lb on every 5/6 weeks! Her weight is now following a steady line even though its still increasing!

So onto last night Gonna be a bit different this morning as i need to keep a tab on what feeds shes having and when or the doc next Thursday! So she had a feed and fell asleep by 8:20pm up to bed at 10;05pm! woke for a feed at 10;07pm and took half an ounce woke at 11;03 and took 1oz, 1:36am took 1 and a half ounce, 2:52am took 1oz, 3:55am took 1oz, 4:47am took 1oz, 5:59am took 1oz and stayed awake, tried the mobile to get her back to sleep no such luck, tried her with more bottle at 6:30am and she took 2 and a half ounce and had a ten minute power nap! Shes just had her banana sunrise breakfast and is currently playing so you can see how bad she is through the night for feeds and sleep grr!!!

Right, so me and OH looked back at Lexi's feeding routine yesterday and she seemed to go hourly between feeds all day and then only taking between a half ounce and 2 ounce so we kinda figured this might be why she only goes hourly through the night! So as of today were going to ignore the feed on demand rule and try and get her to 2 hours between feeds, gonna do this for a few days then up it to 2 and a half etc and see how we get on, gradually were gonna get it to 4hours!

So last night she fed at 7:30pm had half ounce, stirred at 8:53pm but only chewed the teat before drifting back off! Went up to bed at 9:45pm she woke at 9:56pm and took 2oz, next feeds were 11:16pm (1oz) 1:14am (2oz) 2:34am (half oz) 3:50am (3oz) 5:26am (1 and a half oz) woke at 6:30am babbling away to her self, waited until she got whiney which was 6:38am where she took half oz and now were up and shes just had breakfast, so her next feed is gonna be 8:40am...wish me luck I say wish me luck as she usually likes a sleep after breakfast which involves nodding off with a teat in her mouth lol! So i'll see how we go and how much i can distract her!

Feeding 2 hourly went well yesterday, at times it was hard to keep her occupied and her water or juice just didnt cut it but we managed! At times she went longer than the 2 hours just because she fell to sleep and hour and half into the 2hours and then when she woke she was happy soi left the feed until she got grumpy for it!
We seemed to have a better night for it too tbh, it wasnt perfect or how i want it to be but it was an improvement! She fell asleep at 8:10pm, went up to bed at 11pm she woke for her first feed at 1:34am (3oz) 2:49am (2oz) 4:38am (3oz) 6;08am (half oz) and lastly woke at 7:43am so were up, shes just had her banana sunrise breakfast with a drink of water and so as soon as she gets whingey she can have her milk as shes gone 2 hours now give this until monday i think then move it to every 2 and a half hours, deffo think her daytime feeding routine has something to do with how badly she does on a night!

I felt awful last night, was feeding Lexi and then i just felt like i was gonna throw up, had the whole watery mouth, i ended up having to stop the feed and run to the bathroom, felt sick all night and had bellyache! Still feel a bit on the queasy side this morning too

Were going to my brothers tonight, they are making us a curry, it'll make a nice change, be interesting to see if his gf says anything about her gob shite mum, i'll leave things unless anythings brought up, its nice to know they are on our side though!

Also, coming back to that whole argument with her mum saying Lexi is overweight, her sister posted a pic of her son on facebook the other day using the fat booth, mum rung me to tell me as she was wondering whether she was trying to be funny about it all...tbh i cant be arsed and just brushed it off, if she wants to be immature and have digs then let her, shes just showing what an actual div she is if thats the case and isnt gonna get any thumbs up for it either!

Aww we had a lovely night last night at the brothers, he made us a lovely Indian meal, we all got chilled out afterwards with a few beers (except his missus who's preggers) and watched X factor and a few episodes of the inbetweeners! Both kids were well behaved, Lexi fell asleep on their sofa around 9 ish, she was totally zonked, didnt even flinch when i picked her up to put her coat on! We got in at 10:45pm, i quickly did the bottles and got sorted for the night feeds before getting Lexi out of her pram and taking off her coat...again, didnt flinch! And i am happy to say we had a bloody good night for once
So i took her up to bed at 118pm, i stayed awake for a good 10-15 minutes as i was expecting her to wake for a feed but when she didnt stir i got my head down, she woke for her first feed at 1:55am (3oz) and then 4:55am (2 and a half oz) then 6:15am (2 and a half oz) and lastly 7:45am where she stayed awake and took just 1 and a half oz of milk! Shes just had her breakfast and is now sat watching special agent Oso
I actually woke to feed her and didnt feel over tired and zombified was great, hope this is all down to making her go every 2 hours between feeds and really really hope she does the same tonight fingers are massively crossed!

I'm also gettin itchy feet about the Xmas decs, so so wanna put them up now i'm just too impatient and i cant wait to get trimmed up! I've got 3 of Lexi's presents and wrapped them already, i'm just all too excited for Christmas eeeek just gotta think, 1 week 6 days and i can put the tree up etc...oh please please go fast

Aaargh...men and animals really fudge me off at times!! I was putting Elise to bed last night, came down and the daisy cat had pee'd on the friggin sofa, right by the side of OH...how the hell did he not notice so i cleaned that, went into the kitchen to sort the bottles out and caught the dog licking Simba cats wee out the litter tray so he got a telling off! Asked OH to wash the tea pots as i had washed loads up from dinner (this was last night as i was going up to bed to watch i'm a celeb) get up this morning...pots are all still sat there and it looks like the cats gone a flaming pissed on the sofa AGAIN!!!!! Aaaargh total rage! Gonna end up putting her outside, she hates the litter tray and i'm fed up of watching her every move when shes in the room, luckily i can tell when shes looking for somewhere to wee so put her in the kitchen then she uses her litter tray, God knows how OH doesnt notice! Pisses me off at times he really does!

He also pissed me off last night as he wanted to watch paranormal witness at 9pm so i had to watch i'm a celeb upstairs, Lexi wasnt fully asleep in the sense she kept opening her eyes looking around having a smile then closing them! I told OH i would leave her downstairs until 9:30pm ish so that she could get into a deep sleep before i took her up as thats our usual routine, he told me that i might as well just take her up with me and put her to bed! So i did and i did nothing but get in and out of bed until just after 10:30pm last night because she wouldnt settle and kept crying out fecking men, if he's of just let her stay on the sofa until her usual time she'd of been fine, instead i may as well just watched his paranormal shit for all the good it made trying to watch what i wanted to upstairs! Anyway managed to get her to sleep by 10:35pm, she woke for her first feed at 1:45am (2 n a half oz) then 3:55am (2oz) then 5:15am (2oz) then 5:40am where she mainly just chewed on the teat and cried out every ten minutes until i just decided to give up at 6:15 and get chuffing up! Told OH he can take Elise to school and then i'm going back to bed when he gets home! Cant bloody win, even if she has a good night sleep wise and doesnt wake often i'm still feeling like a zombie by 5am when she just stirs constantly! Why why WHY cant she just take a bloody dummy, would make life so much bloody easier! But then i dont think my life is destined to be easy...for instance...i need to ring the landlord this morning because when we let the plug out the bath last night the water started streaming down the kitchen wall grrr more rage! He needs to sort the heating out anyway as Elises radiator doesnt even get warm! Plumbing in this house is shite! Even the toilet doesnt flush everything away first go!

Ahh thanks Daisy, the handyman came out and fixed up the bath, got a new plug with a chain on it as ours didnt have one...oh the little things hey haha!! Just dunno how to get rid of the bloody cat pee smell in the sofa gonna try soak the cushions in surf or something lol!

Our little cherub has had another super night! She fell asleep early doors, roughly around 8-8:30 ish, i watched my Vampire diaries and took her up to bed at 10pm, she woke for her first feed at 1:10am (3oz) then 4:25am (2oz) and then at 5:47am (2oz) and is currently still asleep think this going 2 hours lark is doing her some good, interesting to see if her sleep gets even longer when we start making her go longer between feeds happy days!

Gonna try get in at the docs today too, the skin on my fingers on my right hand is sooooo dry and cracked and stings like chuff and then on my tush where my pubic hairs are its like itchy dry red skin, its been irritating me for some time but dont really wanna get me bits out at the docs, but i cant stand the itch any more and i'm just making the skin sore by attacking it aaargh!!!!!

Oh and now we are officially skint now too, used up all our resources now, all outta bread, sugar and milk, thankfully it seems the benefits have been sorted, we've had some help with the council tax and the housing are paying up £200 on saturday, OH gets his next lot of pay on the 24th...only 11 days to muddle through! Roll on the sale of his sisters OH's mums house (gosh gob full) he's been super awesome and is giving us £1000 to get us back on our feet and they have already had a couple that are wanting to move to that area and fast so fingers crossed!

Well i have been really looking forward to getting Elises school photo's since they were done, thought it would be lovely to have a photo of both my girls as we had Lexi done with her! Anyway yesterday she came home from school, i eagerly checked her book bag and nothing...again! But then i noticed loads of people on my fb saying how gorgeous their kids school photo's are etc, so seems everyone else got theirs apart from me, strangely enough that evening we had someone come knocking on the door, doing portraits of the kids, free sitting and the pics are beautiful, they bring props such as fairy wings, giant plant pots for babies etc so we are booked to have them done this evening! At least i can dress the kids similar, so Elise is wearing a faded denim skirt with a blue and white stripey T-shirt with sequinned bows on it and Lexi is wearing her faded denim dress with a white vest underneath, just gonna get these ones instead of the school ones i think

Anyway on to little lady and her sleep, she ate well yesterday firstly, she had banana sunrise breakfast to start the morning, at dinner she had fruit with yoghurt cereal, tea was Caribbean pork casserole and then for supper she had chocolate and banana pudding she fell asleep around 8pm but was very restless and kept moaning and waking, i gave her some calpol as i though maybe her teeth were bothering her, she had a small feed at 9:45pm and then i took her to bed at 10pm, i half expected her to wake and have a bad night but she didnt wake until 2am (2 and a half oz) and then 5am (2oz) went a bit tits up after 5am, she then woke again at 5:25am and took another 1oz and then woke properly at 6:15am! So shes just had her fruit with yoghurt cereal for breakfast and is now ready for some milk and a nap i think...that or shes fed up of watching pepper pig

Just over a week until i put my Christmas decs up gonne finish the kids xmas presents off Friday, i moved Elises room round yesterday God help me it was a pig sty, looks lovely now so i told her if she keeps it tidy we will dec her room up for xmas too very giddy indeed!

Well i thought she was settling, seems i spoke too soon lol! She was very restless last night, she usually nods off between 8 and half past but every time i laid her down she whined, she didnt want her bottle or anything! She fell asleep at 8:50pm and we went up to bed at 9:50pm, she woke for her first feed at 12:45am (3oz) this was quite early compared to the last few nights and i had a gut feeling that we werent gonna have the super nights sleep we had had previously! she next wke at 2am and took half ounce, then 4am and took 1 oz then 5:15am, she took 2oz but wouldnt settle, i ended up bringing her into our room and popping her in the moses basket where she finally fell asleep and then woke at 6:35am so we got up and i gave her her breakfast followed by a quick guzzle of milk as thats all she wanted! I'm thinking shes a little under the weather tbh, she started off with a little cough which has gradually got worse and now ends up coughing in her sleep which disturbs her, she doesnt have any other symptoms so God knows what thats all about! Just want her back to sleeping nicely for me, i was just starting to get into this whole waking 2-3 times a night lark bah humbug!

OH has said we can put the Christmas tree up this weekend he's a big softie, he's usually the one that wont let me put it up until december, but he said hes seen a few people put theirs up now and in his words "its for the kids isnt it" lol! Gonna leave the window decs for now, its like a secret trim up and then after a week i'll finish off so the whole world knows were dec'd up ready for xmas

The girls are having their photo shoot tonight now instead, the photographers daughter was ill yesterday so she had to go collect her from nursery so because they had to change our appointment they are giving us 3 free pictures of our choice bonus! So today is rather very busy, i'm at the docs at 9:20am, Elexis is at the paediatrician at 10:45am and then the photo shoot at 4pm, onto tomorrow, full day of shopping and dentist at 2:15pm...its all bloody go lol!

So the paediatrician appointment went really well, he weighed Lexi again as well as doing her height and head circumference, shes just above the 98th centile for weight, just below it for height and on the 91st for her head measurements, all in all he has no concerns and said that she is very tall and her weight is in line with that, all in all just generally a big baby all round! He is referring her to a dietician though about her milk, told him she takes little and often etc and some nights she goes hourly only taking an ounce so i dont think he's sending her because shes eating too much maybe there might be something they might suggest to get her eating more less often, who knows, we will see what they say, all in all were happy though, proved a certain someone wrong in that Lexi isnt over weight at all, shes even jumped centiles with her height when i've looked back, maybe her growth spurts actually are in fact quite noticeable when jotted down on a chart hehe!! Just glad there is no medical reason for her being so big, shes just gonna take after her daddy maybe at 5 foot 10 lol!

Glad it went well honey. Good to know there's nothing wrong, she's just a lovely little chunky monkey!!! Meri is the same. Everyone is always saying how chubby she is. Just wish people would keep their opinions to themselves!! Every baby is different! People seem to think they should all fit a certain mould and be textbook when in reality it's very different!

Tell that stupid woman to ram her opinions up her own bottom. Ha ha ha. X
