Well i have good news amy couldnt get a bed at airedale so they have asked me and her daddy to go stop tommorro night and all being well we get to bring her home on wednesday im so really please and excited to i cant wait i just have to get everything sorted now yay its going to be amazing then giving her a week and a bit were going to take her to meet my family there so excited they dunno were going up there so im keeping it as as a surprise for them they think where going up in march with her i so cant wait i really want to go up there tonight lol but i can wait till tomorro lol its not that long xx

the plan change yesterday airedale phoned leeds to say there is a bed after all so shes been transfered there today im kinda peed off thou coz we went there tonight and they were like well you cant stop to night coz we want to get to know her and see how she feeds and what shes like im like well its us that needs to get to know her and feed her and spend more time with so im not happy with them but hey they did say shell probs be home this week OH is back to work friday for a week grrrr so he cant stop over thrusday night if they ask us to so i think shes just been transferred to make it easier for us to get her home but i have some more pics of her she so is changing to xx

yeah shes doing really well but the hospital are now really being ridiculous grrrr im so upset ive got to much on my dad is well and is so lucky to be alive atm and amy is still in hospital there still deciding about discharging her or not its all doing my head in ive had no sleep now for 2 days grrrr why dont they make there minds up its getting really hard to go see her coz its hard to leave her there aswell xx

I was wondering why you weren't with her though? Only because when my Megan went on to special care the only reason I couldn't stay with her on the ward was because we'd left the hospital and she had to go back I was gutted.

Hope shes home with you both soon.

well there blaming everything on the health visitor saying she sed that where im living isnt good enuff for her and she didnt say that she sed she worried about me getting up the stairs with the pram and she didnt relise that i did have access to water lol and the hospital turned round and basically she did say all that so i phoned the health visitor up and she told me what she sed so she foned the hospital and had a go at her coz she only got transferred down to airedale so that it would be easier for me to get to to pick her when they were going to discharge her obv they have to teach me on what to look out for if her nose starts o block again and teach me first aid and stuff but they havent even started in she health visitor sed she souldnt need to be in this long and the plan was for her to be there for 2 days then be discharge.

then they started feeding me bull saying one person sed this and the other sed that and that they didnt have a definate datd for dischare and that they were waiting for the health visitor to give the go head but she sed she didnt need to do that so she sed that they either discharge her thrusday next week or she will do it so the plan is for oh to come up with me on monday and spend the day with her so he can feed her learn to bath her and nappy changes then me to go up on tuesday and stop there two nights and for her hopefully to be discharged thrusday , what a chaos just to get her discharged so she can come home bless her but all in all shes doing really well she took a 6 oz bottle off me today yay!! and shes very alert lol and is very cute when she smiles so fingers crossed this will still happen i need some good news lol ive had to much of bad news this week and dont need anymore lol

It sounds to me like they are just worried about her. To be fair, we dont know you or your circumstances but it doesnt sound like you've spent a large proportion of the 5 weeks with her So I suppose it's their duty of care to make sure she's going to be ok with her being a baby with special needs if you see what I mean. Exactly how much time do you think you've spent with her since she was born hun?

Why have you not been with her though? At her age I would have thought you both knew how to care for her lil nose and general day to day things like feeding bathing ...you can do them when babies in hospital still.

Anyway I was just wondering - Im catching up

ive spent 4 weeks with here going back and forth every day there was a week i was a bit low on cash and could only get three day to see her plus i do all her care when i was there theyve only asked me to stop so they can teach me what to look out for incase her nose closes up again which as the health visitor sed theye had a week to teach me all about what they want todo ive been in every day uptill 8 pm then go hom.

Leeds sed she was only coming down here to be in a few days then discharged from airedale coz its easier to get her home from there than leeds. leeds isnt to happy there airedale hasnt followed there instructions.

i live in a sort ov like bedsit with a room and a bathroom with a bath and shower the kitchen is just down the corridor so i have full access to that and then theres a main kitchen with in the resterant the room is big enuff for me and amy and helath visitor sed her proirity is to get amy out of hospital and home so i can start to get her in a routine and her dad lives at the other end of the building coz he works here. the manager of the pub is really nice and caring she sed that me and amy can stay here till we get a place and got it decorated she also ed she then if i need any help and she sed that if i want she could look after amy any night i trust her coz shes had a crb check with being a play area and stuff for the kids they now have to do a CRB check to there workers she also sed that she has to have amy at least one night aweek it says something like that in her job description lol but all in all i do have help and support of people when amy is out of hospital

yeah we have a supply of water but the hospital sed that the health visitor told them i didnt have the facilties to do her bottles but i do lol health visitor sed she never sed a thing like that at all lol so its like a mis understanding from the hospital side lol

they sed its easier to get amy transferred from one hospital to another but its even harder when the hospital dont listen or take instruction from the other lol one they should of done is had a meeting between the sister of airedale the nurse from leeds and me and the health visitor then at least everyone can have there say and that would ov help me understand what was happening and what was going on lol

she was tube fed for a few weeks and just head bed baths and its frustrating lol coz i know how to look after a baby i know how to do the feeds how to hold them how to bath them and stuff i brought up my ex's sister baby from the first day she was born up until me and my ex split up all because her mother was lazy and wantted to go out drinking and stuff. as this lil girl start growing from a baby to a toddler she start to call me mum which i sed no im aunty emma not your mum i was getting up with her feeding her changing her and the rest of it. it was hard when we split up and now when i see the lil girl at my mams when either im up there and shes over there she always says theres mummy emma and it breaks my heart coz i did so much for her we tried to get her real mother involved but she didnt want anything to do with her she didnt have any sign of PND or anything else she was just lazy b4 she got pregnant. even now my sister does everything now for her with my ex and even thou this lil girls mum has another son living with her mother al she wants to do is go to bingo or go meet lads and stuff its like come on your not 17 any more your 27 you need to grow up and take responsibilty for your kids and now i learnt shes pregnant again lol oh dear well thats not my prob now lol aslong as my lil girl gets out next week like they sed then it shud be gud xx
